Family-friendly vacation rentals in East End

My husband and two teenage kids stayed for four days. The beach view from the condo is amazing . It is so peaceful , we were often the only ones on the beach! It was like we had a private beach. Downtown is an 8 minute drive with tons of restaurants and a pier. This was a great place to stay with very responsive host !

The house is in an excellent location near to Christiansted. You can sit and watch the waves all day and night. The pool is refreshing and relatively shallow if you are traveling with littles or poor swimmers. The host is super nice and responsive. We needed a few things and the host immediately responded and got them for us and was very kind. You get the entire downstairs apartment to yourself, which is nice. It's not exceptionally fancy, but it is nice. What to know: The beach is a walk away, but it's not a swimmers beach. There are sea urchins and rocks in the water. However, it's a great beach for exploring tide pools, watching hermit crabs, finding sea glass, and relaxing while watching the waves. Bring water shoes! You probably want to rent a car if you want to go into town and/or around the island. Get four wheel drive so you can travel to the rainforest and feed the pigs a beer. Go snorkeling at Buck Island; swim at the Buccaneer, Hotel on the Cay, and/or Rainbow Beach.

MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE SERVICE WORKS IN USVI! Ours did not so we were unable to call Gabrielle or access the directions she had given us! Once we arrived everything was perfect! What a cute place. We had a little cottage type unit with a fully equipped little kitchen, comfortable seating in two upholstered chairs and a comfortable Queen size bed. The bathroom was spotless and had a large tiled shower with plenty of hot water and shampoo, conditioner and body wash! Gabrielle had supplied everything one would need including beach towels. The cottage was decorated in an island motif and opened onto a cobbled stone courtyard. It was exactly as pictured! Gabrielle was extremely attentive and her dogs Mango and Coconut are adorable. I would highly recommend!

Russell is just a wonderful host. The cab driver had difficulty locating the place and I told the driver I will call the host for direction. Russell answered right away and directed us to the unit. I explained to the host we are early because we wanted to know exactly where the property was located, we will go and have lunch and return to check-in later in the afternoon. To my amazement, Russell said, "you are here now, go ahead and check-in, the unit is ready". The Russell was very friendly and accommodating which made us feel at home. Our need and requests were immediately addressed. Our stay was truly wonderful. “A Home Away From Home”. Russell, thank you. We definitely will stay at your location again.

This was such a fabulous stay. I'm so glad I found Caribbean Breeze. it's close to everything in Frederiksted and Kathy is such a great hostess. if I ever travel to St. Croix again, I'll definitely stay here!

Gabrielle communicated well with me, I really appreciated that, She was really welcoming and is pet friendly, which is a huge plus, The place was clean. the place is gated so you feel safe enough.

We had a wonderful time in St. Croix. Dan's place had a great location, (very safe) with a beautiful view. He was super helpful and responsive. If we do return to the Island we would not hesitate to stay at Dan's again. It was nice to have a cooler and beach chairs and towels ready to go. As there is lots to explore. Washer and Dryer was also very handy to have on site. I felt the space was bigger than the pictures showed, it was perfect for my husband and I.

We chose Kathy’s place because she is a great resource for people that are moving to the island. We stayed for one week with our 2 tiny dogs while waiting to move into our long term rental. Kathy was extremely helpful and had great advice about the island and educated us on island norms. The unit was very spacious and had a strong Internet signal which was necessary for my husband to work. There is a nice breeze at night so there was no need to turn on the ac. Thank you for welcoming us to the island Kathy!

My family and I had the best time this past week. The condo was amazing and just as described and as the pictures show. We did not see any mold outside on the furniture nor was the furniture inside dirty. We took many naps on the couch and loveseat. The property is very well maintained as the landscaper was power washing and edging the lawn when we got there. We spoke with a few residents and felt 100% safe and comfortable here. The bed was a little high but nothing uncomfortable or made us feel worried for our safety. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. We were provided all the necessities to start our vacation. There was also beach chairs, googles, ice chest and floaties. No need to purchase any!! We had a flight delay and unfortunately arrived the following day. Robin was very responsive and our condo was nice and cool when we arrived. We very much appreciated the Christmas tree as well. Really made it feel like home. I could go on but we would stay here again.

This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Christiansted. We really enjoyed being in town and would pick a beach excursion each day. St Croix has some of the most beautiful beaches we’ve seen. We really appreciated the non touristy aspect of the island. The guest house exceeded all expectations, plenty of room. My son slept in the extra room which has a trundle that pulls up and he made into a double bed. He was quite comfortable. My daughters slept in the main house bedroom which is not really attached to host’s living quarters. Huge bathroom for them was great. Perfect set up for our family. Everyone had privacy and also so many wonderful places to gather. The pool was perfect to take a dip in the morning or after a long day at the beach. The guesthouse was beautiful, so many nice touches in decor. Stocked with anything you could possibly need which was greatly appreciated. Barb and Dav were extremely helpful but unobtrusive at the same time. We fell in love with their rescue dogs. This is definitely one of our favorite Airbnb experiences and we’ve had many. Can’t recommend highly enough. So cool to stay in a historic home that has been so lovingly restored to its prior glory. Loved it.

This air BNB is really top notch. I took my son and his partner to Saint Croix for one week and we stayed at John‘s condo. The bedrooms are absolutely beautiful and the beds are super comfy. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and there is a room downstairs and a king size room upstairs. The condo is actually very large. It has a big living room a beautiful sit down kitchen. All the appliances are up-to-date and the condo is sparkly clean. The house is stocked with all the towels you could need for both showering and swimming. The location is ideal as you can go to any part of the island within 45 minutes and actually seeEverything. There’s a beautiful and sizable deck to watch sunsets. There’s a cozy courtyard in the back with the big barbecue and a generator is there just in case the power goes out. The condo itself is located on a hill nestled into the side of the hill. You will have a view that is outstanding from both the bedrooms and from the living room. They stock you up with towels and towels for swimming and snorkeling and showering. As far as staying in the Caribbean, you cannot go wrong to stay at the condo. You’ll be very happy.

This was a wonderful place. The Condo was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The location and Community had everything you need for a tropical vacation. A great beach, and nice pool area, and a fun Snack Shack/Bar. It was secluded enough, but not far from restaurants and stores. I had such a great time and would definately come back to Barbara's place

Love Love Love the house, pool and Candace was AMAZING. The Location was AMAZING. So close to everything, we walked to beach, Golf and breakfast every morning. Thank you. We had a blast. My husband, son and I stayed here in early April. We were very pleased with the peacefulness of the location. It’s a little remote so you definitely need a car, but we were steps away from the beach and the ocean. My husband loved snorkeling in the ocean and he saw some really neat aquatic life. Marsha was extremely communicative both leading up to and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

This property was a perfect fit for our large group. Very private with a great view. The place looks much better in person than in the photos. Had a great view and private gate entrance. The pool is new which serves us greatly. Huge kitchen made great for serving food and hosting. Eddy was extremely helpful and accommodating to our plans as we had to book last minute. Highly recommend for anyone trying to get away and visit the beautiful island.

We had such a lovely family holiday here in St. Croix. The grounds where the unit are located have a wonderful ocean-front pool, clubhouse with ping pong etc. and a bar. This unit fronts on a large lawn that leads directly to the pool which was great for our kids to be able to come and go on their own. It was quite windy while we were there, but the snorkeling beyond the roped swimming area in front still offered a multitude of beautiful fish. Overall we loved it and would come again.
