Kid-friendly vacation rentals in East Downtown, Houston

You will not find a better host than Gwen!! Awesome communication, very polite and accommodating. Her and her husband Sam went above and beyond for us when the tornado hit and we lost power for multiple days. They brought us a generator and bought a small ac unit for us to have. When we unexpectedly had to leave a month before our reservation was up, Gwen helped square everything away with the changes of dates and payments for us. The home is bigger than the pictures show!! Nice quiet neighborhood, spacious living room area, and perfect yard for our 2 dogs!! - even a doggy door for them. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay comfortably: cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, pots and pans, silverware, plates, etc. We stayed here for 6 weeks and it was fabulous! Can not recommend enough :)

Conveniently located and very clean. Had everything we needed and then some. They've thought of everything - snacks, toiletries, kitchen utensils, you name it. Great linens, comfortable beds, and nice backyard for our dog. Kitchen was great for cooking Thanksgiving. Ana was very responsive and helpful. Overall great stay.

I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the home and how tidy it was. This home was very spacious as described in the details and my entire family of 6 adults and 4 fur babies were able to comfortably spend our vacation. I also want to point out that Laila really took the time on thanksgiving day to ensure my family and I were comfortable and taken care of when a small inconvenience occurred. She took the time to explain the options available for cable/air tv and was able to find the app I needed. Thank you for your attention during the middle of the holiday. I will definitely be booking this home again on my next Houston Vacation.

Everything was great, the house is spacious and just as described. Adam is a great host, provided us with extra blankets and baby supplies. All the family were comfortable while staying at the house, everybody loved it. Only downside is that we weren’t able to use driveway, balcony and backyard, would have loved to do a BBQ since is a family tradition. Awesome place to stay, definitely recommend it!

I booked this place at the last minute for the Thanksgiving weekend and was very pleased with the house. Christina was responsive and quick to provide guidance when we need. She accommodate our request to extend check in and check out time with a good price. The house was super clean with full kitchen located in a quiet neighborhood. She even provided us the alarm code for easy access and safety purpose. There was a broken pipe happened outside of the house (somewhere in the neighborhood) which led to water outage one morning, around 9am, right on our checkout day, Christina again was responsive. She requested a plumber to come over immediately, around 11am. Luckily, the water came back on around the same time. She was very kind to extend the checkout time even more to make up for the time loss in the morning. I will definitely book her again when I visit Houston in the future. Thank you so so much for the pleasant stay!!

The place was as described, very large, clean and tidy considering the age of the property. Nearby there is a supermarket within walking distance and within 2 minutes you are on the highway by car. Museums are in the immediate vicinity. The bars from the inside of the window were unusual, but you take a closer look at the neighborhood - you can only see extremely large expensive houses and cars there. So no reason to be worried. Communication was always impeccable and extremely fast.

We had a wonderful time. The neighbors weren't even loud or as described in the listing. It was extremely comfortable especially the beds. We moved the gazebo outside and the dining area. You can tell a lot of love and family-centered ideas were put into place when designing the spaces. It felt very family oriented.

The Little Blue House was a wonder place to stay very secured. This house is exactly as described in the pictures and it is so warm and cozy with plenty of room. It was a very beautiful home!!!!!!

Lam was a fantastic host and was very easy to reach. The neighborhood felt safe and was a great place to walk our dog. The space is definitely an apartment space and we could hear our neighbors and their dogs but the quiet hours are enforced and it wasn’t too bad.

Our stay was so nice. John was quick to respond and very nice. The unit is in an amazing location. It was noisy at times but not super disruptive. John is very accommodating. We will definitely be staying again.

Great place on a quiet street in an excellent location. Lots of things to do in a very walkable area. Rental is clean and has everything you would need for a short or long term rental.

This was our second stay at Brittany’s place. The unit was clean, quiet, and easily accessible. She was also able to provide garage access which was a plus for transporting all of our dishes for Thanksgiving. Highly recommend staying here!

Artist’s oasis in the heart of Montrose. Incredible collection of treasures from around the globe. Feels like stepping into a lush, private garden. Very comfortable stay; highly recommend!

Great stay in downtown Houston, near plenty of great food.

Demetrius was a very outstanding host. We had to leave our previous host due to her not letting us know she didn’t have not having electricity and Demetrius saved the day by quickly responding to a last minute booking. His condo was flawless and so clean. I will definitely be booking again.

Stayed over the weekend with my wife and teenage daughter for a house hunting trip. Great central location near activities in Houston. Place is just like the photos, clean and offers great views of downtown Houston. Kaelee was super responsive and a great host!

Sa was a great host. Quick to respond and very accommodating and helpful with any issue or question we may have had. Great location super close to downtown, restaurants, and shopping. We enjoyed the big screen tv and surround sound in the master bedroom and ample storage space. All around a great experience I would definitely recommend and use again if we come back to the area!

This is my second time being hosted by Brandon and I can confidently say that he always goes above and beyond to make sure that his guests has a phenomenal stay in his Airbnb. I would recommend him to any of my friends and colleagues that are visiting Texas. From someone that is from the south I love a good southern hospitality and Brandon gives that and more. I can’t wait to be a guest again the next time I visit.

Great stay in the heart of Bellaire Chinatown area! Longs coffee is right there, it's outer absolute favorite stop!

Great place to stay. Spacious and close to Little Saigon. Would stay again if given the opportunity.
