Great apartment close to town centre. Quiet location. Nice little seating area looking over river (weather permitting). Would definitely use apartment again.

Peaceful surroundings, useful information booklet. We had a wonderful break. All the folk we met were super friendly and helpful.

I had contacted Graham to tell him I had booked my stay for my fiancés birthday and when we arrived there were balloons and birthday banners up and a happy birthday sign on display which was a very nice touch. There was also a complimentary bottle of Prosecco awaiting us. Thanks for a great stay.

What can i say, absolute bliss this place! I booked it for a surprise for my partners birthday! It was everything and more, we had the best time away, to the point of trying our luck for an extra night and had major holiday blues when we left! It was such a cool place, such a chilled vibe, was so needed! It did not feel like we were in scotland, tiki bar, hot tub, the hammocks, the airstreamer was just so awesome! Sarah was an amazing host too, she was so cool, helpful and all the small touches to the place was noticed and so kind of her, Really just added to the specialness of the place! And not to forget our wee visits from wilbur the dog butler 😍! We didn't feel the need to venture out, we were so happy being in that zen bubble and there was so much to entertain us!!! Definitely be back! Complete perfection!!! And at night when all the lights were on, just wow!!!! Thank you ever so much from us both!

A wonderful, relaxing, peacful stay at Knowehead cottage with the kids and a dog. Stunning local scenery - the Clachan Inn is well worth a visit in nearby Dalry - lovely ales and food. Cream cakes at the Post Office on a Saturday morning as well as fresh meat deliveries. An enjoyable Easter stay.

Amazing stay exactly like the pictures had a great time

Bentfield is a fabulous place to stay in a beautiful location. There was more than enough space for our extended family. We particularly enjoyed the outside (but covered) seating area for a BBQ and of course the hot tub. The house has everything you will need for a great holiday.

Anchor's Rest was absolutely perfect for our brief stopover on our tour of Scotland. So spacious and well-equipped, we felt right at home the moment we walked through the door. We had 2 great nights' sleep, a delicious meal at the Chestnuts Hotel, a good walk up to Alloway to see Robert Burns' birthplace, a lovely run along the beach, a spot of shopping, a bit of a natter with some local folk in the Tam o'Shanter and the Smugglers pubs, and cooked some tasty locally bought pies and vegetables 'at home'. Thanks to Neil for being so helpful and friendly, a truly great stay.

We stayed at the Quiet Prestwick Beachhouse for four nights and therefore had three full days in the Prestwick/Ayr area. This was nowhere near long enough! Valerie's place is right on the beachfront at Prestwick with a lovely little courtyard and small deck at the back of the apartment which I am sure would be delightful in warmer weather. From this little courtyard there is direct access to, and a great view of, Prestwick Beach and Prestwick Promenade. Once you manage to find the right driveway, the parking is very easy to get in and out of and is clearly marked. The apartment is filled with fun quirky little touches in its interior decorating which provides a great deal of interest, and it is well-equipped. The main bedroom and ensuite are down a couple of steps which should be of note to anyone with mobility issues. These two rooms are also rather colder than the remainder of the flat which is very cosy especially once the electric fire has been put on. Beds were very comfy!
