Pet-friendly vacation rentals in East Austin

Phillip’s rental was absolutely wonderful! He was there to greet us, show us around, and give us advice about the area. He was very easy to contact and he seemed like he genuinely cared that we have a great stay. His place is well equipped with everything needed for a stay. The neighborhood was wonderful and close to the downtown sights. If I’m ever back in Austin, I hope I can stay there again! As a bonus, his place is filled with his paintings—which are fantastic! Our stay at this Airbnb during our daughter's graduation at the University of Austin was absolutely fantastic. The home was not only comfortable but also conveniently located, allowing us to easily navigate the city and attend all the graduation events without any hassle. What truly set this Airbnb apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the host. She made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay and gave some great suggestions on places to eat. But what truly blew us away was her responsiveness to our request to look for our forgotten sunglasses. She found out sunglasses and promptly shipped them to us. It's these little gestures of thoughtfulness that truly make a difference and leave a lasting impression. Overall, our experience at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. Comfortable accommodations, a great location, and a host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home.

Such a great place to stay! Carole was a communicative, welcoming, and accommodating host who clearly takes great care to provide guests with the best stay possible. Would highly recommend this spot for folks who want to enjoy some of Austin’s food truck scene as there’s a cute food truck park nearby at the corner of Elizabeth street and S 1st street (Bananarchy was a particular favorite).

Fabulous place!! We had a group of 6 in town for a football game and this house was perfect!! Would definitely stay again if back in Austin.

Aaron’s place checked every box. Excellent location with lots of restaurants and activities in walking distance, including Zilker Park and the River Trail. The space is comfortable, modern, and very well equipped. Aaron is very accommodating and responsive. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

Susan and Navid are excellent hosts and communicators. The Austin house is unique and in an excellent location. It is also very clean. The instructions/rules are longer than we are accustomed to getting, but they were very clear and accessing the house was straightforward. Note that the rules do not authorize wearing shoes in the house. We typically wear shoes in our house, so this was slightly inconvenient but fine. Also, the house looks very cool from the outside with the large windows, but due to the exposure (it's on a moderately busy street), we never raised the screens. Just something to be aware of. Everything was very efficient, worked well, and as described.

We had an amazing stay at the Oasis over thanksgiving! The house had everything we needed to prepare meals, and more. We had three families with children and created some of the best memories ever! We all had a blast doing karaoke on the first night, both the kids and the adults. We couldn’t keep the kids out of the heated pool even though it was chilly outside. The house has tons of floats and outdoor games. The entire house is really awesome, but the outside area is epic. We enjoyed watching TV, cooking meals, playing darts, and making s’mores, while also relaxing in the hot tub. It was a very special time at a very special property. We didn’t even leave the property except to go visit other family. The scenery is just beautiful, we felt like we had our own retreat. We’ll be coming back next year for sure! Brian is a great host & Tim was amazing at helping me figure out how to work everything. Thanks so much!!

Bre was proactive in communication and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. In my many years of experience Bre has been the most supportive. The unit was exactly as described in the listing. Access to the unit was simple. The front desk made check-in easy. Easy access to food, drink, and transportation was our goal. All expectations were met or exceeded. The unit itself was in great condition with enough amenities for a small family. We felt cared for by a professional and experienced host 🙏🏽.

Candice was an incredible host! The location was perfect, the home was beautiful and you could tell she paid a lot of attention to detail to make the home feel special. Also, the instructions and helpful hints she put around the house were awesome! Other airbnb's should take note of how to setup a home. Cannot recommend this place enough! Will be back!

The home and stay was EXCELLENT! This home was great as it appears to be part of a bigger private property. The high fences and security locks make you feel safe and secure during your stay. The gate opens to a great yard with low-maintenance/low-hassle astroturf. Backyard pool is small but definitely a nice to have. The two-story home has a great layout with easy access to an open kitchen and living, near a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The two bedrooms upstairs were great, as we have older children which allowed for each to have their own bed and bathroom. We had some complications that brought us to this home last minute. The hosts not only worked with us to save our Thanksgiving holiday, they were super attentive to questions and requests (e.g., pool heating). They were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. We cannot say enough good things about the hospitality offered by Varun and Kaya! All in all, this home is a great property if you are ever in need of lodging in Austin!

Enjoyed my stay. The place was clean, easy to access, and matched the pictures and the description. The rooms and bathrooms have plenty of space. The drive into downtown austin is about 30-40 depending on traffic. Still a great value considering the amount of beds, the pool, and the overall experience. Highly recommend this stay.

This was honestly such a great little spot for the weekend. My wife and I had the most terrific time, we even prioritized staying in more just for the tub and patio. The place was cleaned and had clear instructions for everything so there was no confusion. There was a lot of art work around and tied the spot perfectly together. I recommend 100% and have already sent it to a few friends for when they come into town.

Evan, Lala, and George were great host. Didn’t even seem to mind when I almost burnt down their back yard. Great little getaway for us and was just what we needed. Fire pit was excellent. We will have to come back for the hot tub.

The place was perfect. We had five adults and there was plenty of room both inside and in the backyard. The pool and outside seating was wonderful. The house was spotless and the neighborhood was quiet. I highly recommend!

Cute place in a great location! We loved hitting the trail around Lady Bird Lake in the morning and loved that there were so many amazing restaurants and bars at a walkable distance. Space was very clean and the extra amenities (keurig, mini fridge and microwave) were nice touches. Neighborhood is nice and quiet. Great place to relax and be peaceful.

Other than the bath tub drainage problem, my boyfriend and I had a pleasant and peaceful stay. Hosts were quick to respond with swift actions. We do think that the drainage system needs to probably be replaced as we ended up using another drain opener to declog the drains after Traci (co-host) already acted on it the first time we encountered it on our first day. But other than that, it was a good stay, very quiet neighborhood and mostly only 20 minutes away from everything else.

5 Stars – Perfect Stay! We had a wonderful stay at Billy’s place! The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything we needed yet quiet and peaceful. The space was clean, well-maintained, and had such a cute and cozy vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. Billy was an amazing host—so kind and incredibly responsive to any questions we had. He truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and seamless. I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve stayed at Brunson’s place, so that says it all. It has been our home-away-from home in Austin, very conveniently located, clean, and a great host. We will certainly be staying there again!

Nice, quiet neighborhood in a good location. Hosts took care to have all the basic amenities you might need. Clean kitchen with lots of appliances if you're looking to cook. Also nice to have the washer and dryer there.

Close proximity to downtown and the airport. Clean and as described. Great spot for a weekend trip.
