Beautiful, historic apartment, tastefully updated. Plenty of space to nest - or host a dinner for six. Comfy beds, ample living quarters, cook’s kitchen. And walking distance to the center when we want to get outside. Our new home away from home in Groningen!

Freek and Edith are fantastic hosts and the apartment we stayed in was beautiful - modern, clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. We had everything that we needed. Freek and Edith are lovely, lovely people. They were friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to ensure that we had everything that we needed/wanted. There’s a fabulous BBQ area and outdoor furniture. We loved our stay with Freek and Edith.

Well suited for a short stay, very central! The communication was good and you could drop off your luggage in the restaurant next door which was great. However, I would not recommend sleeping on the sofa for two. The smell in the toilet was also a bit strict, probably because of the sewage. Nice stay to recommend.

We had a very nice stay and the accommodation was exactly as described. If you are looking for a quiet, but still well-connected (public transportation wise) accommodation outside Groningen, this is the place for you. It was cozy and relaxing, thank you very much!

Been to this address a few times and we'll be back in 2 weeks. We love old refurbished/refurbished buildings that retain their old atmosphere. A creaky floor, immense beams and lots of space. Very clean and fully equipped spacious kitchen and nice large open bathroom to the bedroom. Toilet semi closed is no nuisance for us, chatting from bed and nagging to each other haha. Shower is nicely spacious. The hostess and host are warm, easy to contact and are happy to offer helpful hand when unloading car carrying suitcases. During your stay, you are really private, but they are easy to reach at any moment. We call this place our found gem in the nice city.

Our stay was comfortable, newly renovated house located on the outskirts of Groningen, very quiet and perfect for two nights.

We were a group of 7 friends who were looking for an relaxing stay in the netherlands. We were really happy with this location. First of all, the host Milo is a really kind person who checked in on us and looked if everything is fine. Also he gave us nice tips for things we can do in the area. Stores like Coop are good to find within 10 minutes with the car, bikes can be rent within a 10 minute footwalk. All in all it is a very quite area which is good for relaxing. Additionally, the big garden we could use was perfect. But you should be aware that the walls are very thin in the house. So when you are talking in the basement, you will hear this in the first floor. But for us this was not a problem at all. We can definitely recommend this location!

We stayed with the family for a few nights in the accommodation and felt very comfortable there. The accommodation is very well equipped, you will really find everything. In good weather there is a great garden by the house and access to the lake right next door. Numerous play equipment and water sports equipment are also available. We had a great time and would be happy to come back.

Lovely home in Sneek. Well decorated and welcoming touches

We were very warmly welcomed by Marianne, and our two dogs were also allowed to enjoy a few treats directly. Marianne was also immediately on hand when we had more questions later on. Our teenagers had their own empire upstairs and felt very comfortable there, while we adults could enjoy the beautiful decor and wide view over the fields downstairs. We spent cozy game evenings at the large and cozy dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. We loved it so much that we would definitely like to come back.

Its really homey and well equipped, Jen and Florian makes sure that everything is ok with my stay they were really nice and helpful. The neighbourhood was peaceful you can really relax and have a quiet time and its very accessible as its in the town itself. Staying with Jen and Florian is worth to enjoy the nice little town of Harlingen. And will definitely come back for a visit.

It was a very nice stay. The townhouse is very nicely decorated and everything is well maintained and clean. Harlingen is a very nice town with many restaurants, bars and nice little shops that invite you to stroll. The harbor is very nice too.

Exactly what we needed! Was peaceful and we all loved it.

We had wonderful relaxing days. The view and the balcony is amazing. Super clean apartment. Everything present. Nice host. Good value for money. Definitely worth repeating.

We stayed for a short 2 days to visit the open day at Meppel NHLstenden with our daughter. It was a perfect place to stay, in the middle of the city where we could walk to everything. Convenient parking garage just a block away. Place looked just like in the pictures, very colorful and quirky.

Very nice hosts, accommodating and helpful. Great, clean room with balcony in which we felt very comfortable. Beautiful and interesting location. We can only recommend the place and the host.

We had a lovely stay. The place was private and had everything well-deserved rest for a few days. Bed was comfy and view was beautiful. The waterfront seating was our favorite. The surroundings are great too! We cycled over 80 kilometers. We definitely recommend this place 👍

This might've been one of our favorite stays to date; the hosts are so, so friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment is very comfortable and the beds are great. We also really liked the spacious bathroom. As for the surroundings; there are lots of things to do and see, and the available ebikes have been used a lot during our stay! We would recommend this home to anyone and we definitely want to come back sometime!

2nd time we’ve stayed here. Feels like home. Would definitely stay again. Host was friendly and helpful, very responsive to requests. Highly recommended
