We absolutely loved our stay! The place was easy to find and access. It is conveniently located in Luray close to the town and attractions, but also far enough away to unplug and have privacy. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit while star gazing. Would highly recommend and would book again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was nice and clean, and we had everything we needed. Pictures accurately depict the house. Host does a good job of providing all of the details you need for your stay. Trash drop off is a bit out of the way, but if you aren’t on a strict schedule when you depart, the drive is enjoyable.Would stay here again.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was very peaceful , quiet and remote which we love. Hiking in nearby Shenandoah National Park was excellent. We enjoyed our Easter holiday and would recommend this spot to anyone who loves the great outdoors! We loved our campfires and the hot tub after a long days hike.

Wonderful and responsive hosts. Perfect for our spring break trip with our young daughters to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. Has everything you need! I'd recommend bringing fire starters for windy nights. And long skewers for s'mores. It was such an adorable cabin. I had the most peaceful mornings drinking coffee at sunrise on the porch.

Breanna and her husband were very friendly and easy to get a hold of. The place was out of a fairytale and couldn’t have been cozier. My boys loved the bedroom loft and we enjoyed all of the windows in the bedroom. It felt like sleeping in the woods without sleeping in the woods! Afton is beautiful and full of wineries and breweries that suit both kids and adults.

Cozy Cottage Retreat: SNP, Luray Caverns, River

The house itself is cute and perfect for a short stay. The beds are super comfy and the place is nicely decorated. We enjoyed turning the little electric fireplace on in the evening when we were relaxing. FYI…..There is a railroad running directly in front of the house but surprisingly the noise from the train wasn’t that bad and it was kind of cool watching it pass through from time to time. Lastly, I would like to thank Julie for letting us stay at her place for the weekend and for being such a considerate, knowledgeable and caring host!

We had a wonderful stay at Masaneuttan’s Airbnb! The space was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Awesome house for a great price. Great area, lots of light, had everything you need to be comfortable and the hot tub was great to have. The house has the appeal of an old cabin but everything feels new and clean and fresh. Devils Knob Overlook is just up the hill, and was great for walking the dog to and just sitting down and enjoying the view. This will be the first house we look for to stay in when we come back.

We enjoyed our long weekend here! It was a beautiful home and pristine! The hosts were very responsive which was super helpful! We were thankful for the small things too like having a bin full of different coffee pods! It was the perfect getaway for our family (including our dog)! We would definitely stay here again!

It’s an amazing stay, will go back again. I made it there with my front wheel drive sedan, but I would suggest going with a high clearance AWD SUV. I was lucky with the dry dirt and gravel road at the time I was there so I didnt get stuck, but I think it did hurt my car’s suspension a little bit lol Other than that, place is really cozy, comfy, peaceful, more than amazing views and really private.

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs and this one is by far one of the nicest with one of the most respectful and responsive hosts. The pictures are great, but don’t do it justice. The property is incredibly peaceful, and well-maintained. You wouldn’t even know that it is pet-friendly!

This is a perfect mountain retreat for those looking to get away for peace and quiet. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset. Tim was great with Communications and responded quickly to any questions/concerns we had. Rich, the property manager, was awesome and checked in to make sure we settled in fine our first night and was only a call away if there were any issues. You're very close to Luray and Skyline Drive. There are also so many things to do at the house if you're just looking to stay in, especially during the colder months. It was just a couples trip this time but I would definitely bring my children here. Highly recommend!

Spent New Year's with my husband and two Yorkies nestled deep in the woods, and it was everything I hoped for—and more! The property is surrounded by towering trees, offering a sense of tranquility and seclusion that's hard to come by. The bed deserves a special mention— it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! We spent all three days hiking some of the best trails and relaxed comfortably watching TV in the evenings with a nice glass of Malbec. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, this Airbnb is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you Jerry and Chris.

Our family of 6 had an incredible time at this beautiful AirB&B near Massanutten, VA. The home was absolutely perfect for our getaway. It was spacious, cozy, and had a backyard that we loved—plenty of space for the kids to run around and play! The location was ideal for both skiing at Massanutten and sightseeing; we also had an amazing visit to Luray Caverns, which was just a short drive away. The home truly felt like a home away from home. It had everything we needed, from toiletries to welcome snacks, and even games for family fun. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook meals—honestly, we only needed to buy food & seasonings. The host was incredibly responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed and that our stay was seamless. We will definitely be coming back for another stay. It was a perfect vacation for our family, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Highly recommend.

Adorable place, super conveniently located. We were in town to hike for the weekend. Host had great recommendations. Also - I feel like the last string of places I have rented the beds and sofas needed to be refurbished. Everything was super comfortable. The bed was great. The sofa was great. Very clean. Absolutely already checking dates for another weekend.

I've stayed in Wintergreen a few times. This is a lovely condo. Checking in was super easy with a code from the host. Parking was available right in front of the residence. The bed was giant and comfortable. The kitchen and living room was a nice open space with a big smart TV. There is a small backyard with a beautiful view and patio furniture. Everything was clean and the wifi worked well. I would definitely stay here again it was well worth the price.
