River Cottage Near Loch Lomond

River Cottage is a detached riverside property located in the quiet village of Croftamie on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This charming cottage has been finished to a high standard and enjoys lovely views over rolling fields. The spacious decking area overlooks the river "Catter Burn" and is an ideal vantage point for watching the abundance of local wildlife. As an added bonus, free riverside fishing is available from within the grounds of the cottage and there is direct access onto open fields. The open plan living space has two large sofas (one being a sofa bed, making it possible to accommodate up to four adults). The kitchen area is fully fitted with table and chairs for dining. Local amenities are available in Croftamie, including a pub renowned for its delicious food and a number of small shops. Preferred lets are Saturday 3pm to Saturday 10am on a self catering basis, however if you wish to enquire about any dates/times outwith this or a short break then please contact me and I will try to accommodate you if I can. Accommodation details Ground floor Property is all at ground floor level, has electric oil filled radiators and comprises: Lounge Area: With electric stove effect fire, satellite TV/DVD, WiFi, sofa bed (there is an additional charge of £50 for bedding for the sofa bed) and patio doors leading onto decking area. Dining Area: With table and 4 chairs Kitchen Area: With electric oven and electric hob, kettle, toaster, tassimo coffee maker, microwave and fridge/freezer. This cosy b listed cottage is situated in the heart of Helensburgh, less than a 5 minute stroll to the Helensburgh seafront and the vast array of shops and restaurants or pop in your car and within 10 minutes you can be on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Although this is a traditional cottage it's super comfy and warm , we have replaced all windows and the door and the heating is super. We have fast Wi-Fi, full kitchen and big wall mounted tv .

Beautiful house with beautiful views. unfortunately the day we arrived the next day there was digging at the plot next door so some days we couldn't sit outside in the garden. This is no fault of Amanda's and we would recommend anyone who is looking for a house that is clean with beautiful views to book.

Had a lovely couple of days here for my birthday- the cottage really feels like a home from home and there are lots of little extras which make the experience, such as games, paintings, pantry items and we loved watching the birds on the feeders - we saw wood peckers and a buzzard sat in the tree opposite. Adrienne is really responsive and made the experience really easy for us! Thanks again x

This was the most incredibly beautiful property in a stunning location. Pier Cottage is so private and peaceful with views over Loch Striven where you can sit and relax whilst watching the array of wildlife around you or take the kayak out on the loch. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well appointment with everything you would need for you stay. If you are looking for somewhere to unplug from the world and completely relax - this is the ideal place.

We had a lovely 4 nights at Allison’s place. The cottage is small but has everything you need. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The garden at the back is small but lovely. We had dinner sitting outside as the weather was so nice. It’s very peaceful with lots of birds singing. Our boys (ages 9 and 12) loved going to the loch, just across the road to skim stones. It’s 30 min from Inveraray and we had some lovey meals there. The cottage is comfortable, clean and cosy. Allison is friendly and helpful.
