Elle was a lovely host, super welcoming and helpful to chat to. The home was cosy, clean and with a modern bathroom, oven, smart tvs and a big bed, it was the perfect stay! The location is a very short walk to the Main Street while being private and quiet, with a short drive out to the incredible walks and views the Grampians have to offer!

Our stay at Adam and Peps was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in and all 5 of us agreed! It was an absolutely beautiful place with heaps of room, very clean and tidy, and the hot tub and outdoor fire pit was a highlight! The beautiful vineyard and scenery around made us not want to leave to go on the amazing hikes around the Grampians which were all a very close drive away! It was private and extremely good value. Adam was super responsive with any questions and willing to help out with suggestions if needed. We are already planning when we can come back next! Highly recommend!

Tim's place is close enough to walk into the centre of Halls Gap but quiet and peaceful with a park on one side. It's fully fitted out and has access to the community garden for fresh herbs. We enjoyed our stay and meeting Tim.

A spacious outdoor area is framed by lush greenery and native trees. Seating areas made of wood are positioned near a fire pit, providing a natural gathering space. A decorative screen adds a touch of privacy, enhancing the relaxing atmosphere of the yard.

Every member of our group agreed that our stay at Sharon’s was so peaceful and relaxing. Such a fantastic location, which was close to town. It provided everything we needed and more to serve not only as a base for us to go explore the beautiful area, but to spend time unwinding. Was homely and accommodated the 6 of us perfectly. We had a fantastic BBQ on the back deck and a movie afternoon too! We had a great time and would not hesitate to book here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Our chalet was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The spa and massage chair was a welcomed addition especially after a long day of hiking. Walking distance to town and a great pub ‘Kookaburra Hotel’ which had great food, pool table and great service. Thank you and we’ll be back.

We had a lovely time in Ararat, and Stone's Throw was a great base for our travels. The house is clean and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the bread, muffins and fresh milk waiting for us after a long road trip to get to Ararat. Would definitely recommend Stones Throw Air Bnb.

Avue was great. It had a beautiful, roomy open plan kitchen, living & dining area and very well-appointed kitchen. The bedrooms were clean & beds were comfortable. Bathrooms also spotless & spacious. The deck area is gorgeous - we had lots of beautiful wildlife visit while we were enjoying playing cards on the outdoor dining setting. The area was really serene & the views gorgeous. It was directly across the road from the hotel and an easy 2 min drive into town. We'd def stay again, it was perfect for our girls trip.

An unusual review as we couldn't stay, because I stuffed up the dates. The host Guy called the evening of the booking as it was the same day and quite a remote location to double check it was correct. Upon the conversation I realised my mistake. Unable to accommodate our actual travel dates, they were more than helpful in facilitating communication with Airbnb to help process a refund. Fantastic to deal with and very helpful. We drove past their accommodation during our stay and it looked lovely and is in a fantastic location, close to town centre with fantastic views. Tip of the day, book you stay before the second glass of wine after a long day to save everyone the hassle. Thank you Guy.

A great 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in the forest a couple of kms south of central Halls Gap. The space is modern, clean, and well equipped for a stay in the Grampians. Kangaroos, wallabies and echidna were all spotted from the house. A great base for exploring the local area which is recovering from the Christmas 2024 fire, although we saw little evidence of the fire. We hiked all day, had 2 BBQ’s in the evenings and had a great time. We were sad to leave. Thanks Stephen

Sharon’s house was amazing, just how we remembered it from past visits only better ,the updated Kitchen is beautiful, she has stocked the house with plenty of everything, all you would need to eat at home , it is so peaceful having the morning coffee on the balcony , comfortable beds , great size living space and a nice walk into the town if you need to . We had the most beautiful stay at Dunkeld House! The house was gorgeous and we felt comfortable there straight away. The kids loved the play equipment in the backyard, the board games and having lots of space and you can't beat the view from the living and kitchen window of the mountains. The bakery and Main Street were an easy walkable distance. After visiting Halls Gap for some hikes we were glad we had picked to stay in Dunkeld as it's so much quieter and relaxed but still an easy drive, so sad the perfect base. We had an amazing dinner on our last night at Parker Street Project. Jackie & Jarrod were wonderful hosts, offering lots of recommendations and were so responsive with any questions we had. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Thanks Gemma and Phil

Nice location and modern renovations. Comfy beds and air-conditioning. Spotless kitchen and bathroom. Roos right on the front lawn. It would be a 10/10 if the oven was cleaned after the previous guests and cobwebs removed indoors and outdoors. Windows and sliding doors cleaning is overdue. Nevertheless, our stay was comfortable.

Great stay at Flinc house. Loved it was bright and clean and also the fresh cotton linen. Dunkeld is small so you can walk to the coffee caravan and the delightful bakery. The pub is expensive so didn't get to try it! Recommend the walk to Piccaninny hill with little ones. The Arboretum is worth a walk too. Flint house was lovely and light and had everything we needed.

We had an excellent stay at the Grampians at Tim's. Having stayed in many Airbnbs, what stood out in particular for Tim was his largesse of spirit - his thoughtfulness and helpfulness filled our hearts. Tim went many extra miles to make our stay more comfortable, and was also generous in providing local tips. Nestled close to nature with very close access to wildlife, the accommodation was clean, functional, and well-equipped. Highly recommended! Thank you so much Tim.

The Rocks Airbnb was beautiful. A great place to come home to after a long day of hiking. Only complaint is that the door was very hard to unlock and lock, but Chris responded to my questions quickly and taught me the trick (pulling the door [very hard] toward me while the lock was turning).

We had a wonderful stay. Ant and Melissa's place was beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by amazing permaculture gardens. Also really well located to walk to central Hall's Gap and hiking start point. Best of all, Ant and Melissa were incredibly kind, accommodating, responsive and generous. They brought us a box of fresh produce and relish on the day we arrived, and were truly wonderful hosts.

We arranged this weekend to share a mystery picnic with friends. The accommodation was as described - a brand new property. This did mean that the landscaping had not been completed, but that was not surprising given the very recent bushfires. The communication from the hosts was excellent, everything we could have needed was available. We were welcomed by kangaroo’s and dear, as well as so many varieties of native birds. A really beautiful experience, thank you.
