Vacation rentals in Dungowan

Amazing place just 15 minutes out of town. A working farm with very friendly animal co residents. Our kids loved the big pile of books and toys too. A million thoughtful touches. Incredible. Loved it and hope to be back.

What a wonderful find! Barbara’s off-the-grid cabin is nestled between rolling hills and surrounded by green farmland and native countryside, complete with lots of wildlife, perfect sunsets and stargazing. The ‘loft’ bed is perfect for waking up with an elevated view of a gorgeous country sunrise, with kangaroos and birds outside the window. I had the best two nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. If you crave serenity, this is the place. Barbara has thought of everything, and her place is spotless. The wi-fi is a bit patchy, but that didn’t matter at all in my case. Bear in mind if travelling for work though. Mobile reception is excellent. Would love to visit again one day.

We had good stay, it was private and quiet and just minutes from the middle of Tamworth (we were there for the country music festival, Accommodation is had to get and expensive) Ishak was very responsive and helpful.

Great place, beautiful view of sunsets from the verandah. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. Great location, quick drive to town centre

The hosts were very prompt at responding and they have a lovely home. They really had some nice touches for example offering a few essentials like coffee milk bread and butter to get started with plus lots of toys for the children which was great. I would definitely recommend the hosts. Thank you for your stay

Five minutes into my stay, l was ready to move in! An absolutely gorgeous, comfortable cabin in a lovely setting with an outlook to die for. Yet so close to town and just 5 minutes from the hospital where my friend was being treated. Everything in the cabin was top quality and tasteful. It was an environment perfectly suited to soothing my frayed heart and soul.

We stayed with a friend from the UK tracing their family history, Heath's place had a terrific view and had a nice cosy feeling. Everything was close which was really handy, would definitely stay again.

The most gorgeous house and amazing styling. We didn't want to leave. It was our first time in Tamworth and it has left a great impression. We can't wait to come and stay in winter so we can use the fireplace. Thankyou Laura, it was magical!

We stayed at Kate’s house in Tamworth for 3 days over Christmas. There were 5 adults and the house was perfect. The property is beautiful, comfortable and spacious! We felt instantly at home and it made a great get away, even better. Terrific location in a quiet street and a pleasant walk down to Peel street for the shops and cafes. Overall the experience was first class and would enthusiastically recommend for anybody looking for quality accommodation in Tamworth.
