Absolutely beautiful house. We were blown away by it. A fairly large group of us stayed and the house was big enough to accommodate us all. The hot tub was great although did take a while to get up to temperature. Jill was welcoming and really helpful. A brilliant host. Would definitely stay again in future.

Fabulous property, and ideal for our family New Year celebrations. Great living space, bedroom layout was good (easily accommodated 12 of us) and the ‘treats’ on arrival were an unexpected bonus. The hot tub & BBQ were also excellent.

We stayed with family and friends for a days new years. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub along with the pool table and would definitely stay again.

Richard’s place was amazing. A group of 8 friends stayed here. There was loads of room. The outside pods are an amazing additional feature. The pool table and hot tub were terrific. The setting just beside the mountains adds to the atmosphere. Richard is an excellent host.

Highly recommend! Helen is a great host. Place was spotless, fully equipped for cooking, but also lots of games, so there is always something to do. The view from the lodge is absolutely beautiful. I recommend it for everyone who's looking to spent a relaxing time with filmy or friends!

Annette’s house was lovely and cosy. Everything we needed was at hand, beautiful range cooker in the kitchen. Clean and tidy and really comfortable. Annette had a really detailed guest book with all local amenities making everything really accessible. 5stars and would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay! The kids were so excited to sleep on a boat. Literally right next to sse arena and spar right there too. Beds were comfortable and it was clean. Definitely would recommend and hope to be back one day

Sara & Chris are excellent hosts. The house is immaculate, super cosy, clean and warm. We felt completely at home. During our stay my 83 year old mother became very unwell with a chest infection. Sara and Chris were extremely accommodating and allowed us to continue our stay at very short notice. We were also given a late check out so we didn’t have to rush my mother to get her to the airport. A truly fantastic house with all the amenities, excellent location and breathtaking views!

We had a sleepover themed hen party at Mark's and we cannot praise the experience more. From the moment of booking Mark was welcoming, accommodating and really helpful. We were excited about the trip before we got there because of this. He was on hand on the day to make sure we got there OK. The house is beautiful, warm and the beds were the best iv ever slept in! The outside area was so nice! It had all the kitchen bits we could have ever needed. The personal touches really made us feel extra welcome. We had a small query and he was back to us straight away with assistance! Mark himself is just great. Honestly we cannot praise the stay enough we all loved it!

We had a wonderful stay in the treehouse quirky and very different with excellent views great location for Carlingford and two minutes walk from a friendly local bar extremely dog friendly Padraig went out of his way to meet us and was very responsive and helpful thanks so much Karen Stephen and Jessie 🐶

excellent stay. spotless flat. very comfortable and surprisingly spacious. while a bit from the centre, there are plenty of shops and cafes close by and the bus stop is right outside. the host was extremely responsive and excellent at communicating. recommended

Cosy and quiet. Very private and walking distance into town. ideal spot to explore the Mourne mountains and Tullymore park.

We took a short family trip to Belfast. Trevor’s place was a nice retreat from the city and the usual city busy-ness. He was the most responsive host and was so generous to let us check in early. We are so grateful as we were traveling with a child and traveling at 4am. His place is easy to get to from the international airport, and good links to city center. There’s also a train that goes to city center as well which was an option we took. The neighborhood felt safe and was nice. We walked about an hour to the Titanic quarter and it was really nice. We highly recommend Trevor’s place.

The Air B and B is very handy for Belfast City Airport - 10-15 minute walk. The neighbourhood is quite quiet - just occasional flights overhead! The house is quite well-equipped, clean and spacious. Some info about recycling might be helpful - thanks.

Just back from a couple of nights at Avoca Lodge. It’s a beautiful lodge to be fair, easy to find in a beautiful, quiet area. The lodge itself was perfect for our family (5x) … loads of space albeit if you wanted to all have breakfast together in the kitchen diner or all just chill in the lounge after a long days exploring. All great size bedrooms and bathrooms which again made the lodge perfect for us. The lodge is beautifully decorated throughout - which we loved. We hired a car and the lodge is easily accessible and actually Belfast was only a 25min drive so location wise, it was a good base to explore most of the country. Li was a fab host, always responsive on messages and really kind throughout. As guests, we couldn’t ask for much more in terms of hospitality so thankyou. We are planning to revisit Northern Ireland very soon so may well book again. Would recommend for sure.

We were a group of friends who all wanted their own bed to sleep in and enough space to just relax and pop out locally for. This house fit the bill - it's HUGE, with high ceilings and acres of bedroom space. All the beds were comfortable with high quality linen. The dining room space doesn't really match the huge lounge and bedroom space and it was big for the 4 of us ladies, but if every bed was occupied I'm not sure everyone would fit comfortably around the dining table for meals perhaps. The heating wasn't on when we arrived so it took a while for the house to heat up, although I hadn't advised what time we would arrive. A few of the radiators needed some attention as they didn't heat fully so I messaged Martin and he got a handyman round the next day to bleed the radiators - very impressive especially considering it was Saturday! After that the house was completely toasty. Tesco, restaurants and bars are all in the area. Easy on-street parking right outside every time. Thank you

Perfect place for our trip of 4 ladies. we had lots of space. The house was spotless and in a lovely quiet road. Shops all walkable for any essential items. There is a bus stop at the end of the road that gets you into the city centre but as there was four of us it sometimes worked out cheaper with a Uber. David was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed and gave recommendations for places. He was also very flexible with our check in and out which helped us out a lot. All of the people we meet were so friendly and helpful. Hopefully we will return again! Great weekend.

Darren was a great host and very communicative. The location wasn’t too bad, if you’re willing to walk 20-30 minutes to downtown Belfast. Plenty of street parking and the unit had all the amenities you’d need!

We enjoyed this great Airbnb, clean, comfortable, large, easy parking spaces, location was perfect too. Well stocked kitchen utensils. Definitely would recommend the flat.

This is a beautiful property..photos don’t do it justice…lots of character and charm! I would highly recommend! Mary was very pleasant and helpful…and her dog was lovely too! I will be back again soon hopefully!

Just back home today after a 7 night stay at the wee home. Absolutely beautiful home and location. We took bicycles and explored other places. Home so tranquil but a 8 minute cycle into Kilkeel town centre. We took four kids ranging from teenagers to 6 year old. All thoroughly enjoyed our visit and everyone wanting to return again. We went to Turkey last year and whilst this was also a great holiday our trip to Kilkeel trumped this by far. Will definitely be returning
