It was very peaceful, I loved the log fire and it heated the place up nicely. The surrounding scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed walks around the area.

Wow, what a find. This has been the most peaceful and stunning location I've ever been to. I was graced with beautiful sunshine the whole time which was a miracle having arrived in the wake of storm Eyown, but even if it wasn't, its just beautiful, a real home from home. Donny and Alison who live next door, were lovely and welcoming and kept me updated regularly on the run up to my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away from it all and truly relax. Referrals already made and I can't wait to return in October. Sad to be leaving. Amazing property. Not only does this have one of the most beautiful views we have ever been to, but the interior architecture is beautiful and you instantly feel at ease as soon as you walk into the property. Duncan was extremely accommodating and was very helpful throughout our stay. This is certainly now the place we would go for an escape and digital detox! Thanks so much. ☺️

My best friend and I rented the place to celebrate our birthday with some beautiful countryside and a hot tub, it really exceeded our expectations. We had issues turning the hot tub on and off again but in terms of using it was perfect. All the amenities were in great working order and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend for families as well with the massive garden and barbecue:)

Had a fantastic stay. We booked several hours before we checked in, Jo was great at responding and full of local info! The cottage is lovely, well kept, and well equipped. Comfy beds, cosy living room with lovely wood burner and a well equipped kitchen!! Highly recommend staying in this cracking apartment owned by lovely attentive people!!! Beautiful property on the shores of Loch Long, with a private balcony and outdoor bath. The place was spacious, as well as being spotless. The view out onto the loch was fantastic, with the log burner burning away inside. Wonderful winter escape, but we will definitely be back in summer. Our host messaged to say a seal had been spotted playing in the water outside the Airbnb, but we were out and about so missed it! WiFi was a little slow, so made watching apps on the main tv tricky, however there was a good selection of dvd’s and games provided.

Very warm and comfortable, beautiful surroundings, outside bath was amazing! Generous breakfast bits everything you need and a bottle of Fizz, will definitely return.

We were a party of 11 guests with 3 dogs. The house was perfect for all of us. Large living space and separate dining room. The pool table and hot tub were enjoyed by everyone in our party. The kitchen had wveryrhing we required. The views from the house were amazing. The location of the house was perfect for Loch Long, Loch Fyne, Loch Lomond and many more. The Reat and be Thankful was very close as was Inverurie. Nicola and James were amazing hosts. Their communication was excellent and their home welcoming. Overall, our stay was perfect and the house met the needs of our large family for our annual get away. Thank you!
