Our stay at Auke and Janet's was super nice. The house is really nice and you are very warmly received. Super nice hosts who prepare everything very well for you. We arrived with a baby and the two of them provided us with things for our daughter like a high chair, a baby bed and a changing mat without us asking for it. Really super attentive and totally sweet. We will be happy to come back!

We got back home today after staying at Thea's AirBnB for 4 nights. What an amazing place! Thea is a wonderful (guest)woman and has made something very beautiful from a rundown farm. Thank you for your hospitality and we will definitely come back if we need to be around Groningen again in the future. Ninette and Rob.

Lucy is a very nice and welcoming host. My and my son really enjoyed the peace at her place, and the nature and how she is gardening with respect for nature and for the environment. Very inspirering. Thanks a million!

We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful house. The area is beautiful, you can walk into the nature reserve from the garden. We have lovely hikes and enjoyed the tranquility. The house is cozy and practical, and the three bedrooms are very spacious. Glad there was a built-in shower in the bedroom on the ground floor, and a separate bathroom on the first floor. I'd like to come back again!

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

We stayed during winter time and enjoyed Arenda‘s and Klaas‘ cozy place very much! The big main room was perfect for our group of 8 people to spend time together, do some cooking etc. The hosts were super friendly at all times caring about our wellbeing! We even had the chance to see Klaas feeding the Alpacas 😁 Overall, we can highly recommend the cottage!

Lovely few days felt like a home away from home

Very welcoming hosts. We were only for one night but everything breathed attention to details in the room and attention to people. Breakfast super extensive, very tasty. And everything felt like possible. Hospitality to the point. Many thanks Matthias and Markus.

We arrived a little late at location after a long day of work. This was not a problem for the great host and hostess. We were warmly welcomed in the evening and we felt right at home. The cottage was above expectations. You absolutely don't feel like you're at someone's home. Our first evening went wonderfully after a good home-cooked meal with all the necessities for a culinary feat. The next day we hardly got out of our bed because it was so nice. Ba some tips from the host we could take a super nice walk in the adjacent forest. Saved at sabrina's tip to a delicious restaurant. Really nice to be away from it all. We are helped with a warm welcome by these wonderful people with their beautiful and especially sweet dogs. This cottage is a number 1 recommended by us!! Hopefully, until soon and thank you!

Wow! Words fall short for this magical stay. I had booked this location because of an intensive, where I could spend 4 days together with students in a nice way to complete the year process together. Because of this, I had quite a few specific questions, which is always a bit exciting. Saran and Rowan moved super nicely though. Thought for yourself about any solutions and actively started to meet our wishes (which really worked out). Such hospitable people with clearly their heart in the right place. Very grateful to be able to meet them. They are clearly custodians / beschemers of the beautiful land and the animals on the land. Everything is addressed with a lot of respect and gratitude. Thank you for everything. We really wish you even more fantastic people who can come and experience your place and the culture. 🙏

The stay was very pleasant! Nice waking up to animals in the area. Deliciously eaten at the arragon kitchen (within driving distance) and by bike to the sauna (thermal springs Zuidwolde), for which we were also allowed to borrow bicycles. Very friendly hosts.

We were a group of 7 friends who were looking for an relaxing stay in the netherlands. We were really happy with this location. First of all, the host Milo is a really kind person who checked in on us and looked if everything is fine. Also he gave us nice tips for things we can do in the area. Stores like Coop are good to find within 10 minutes with the car, bikes can be rent within a 10 minute footwalk. All in all it is a very quite area which is good for relaxing. Additionally, the big garden we could use was perfect. But you should be aware that the walls are very thin in the house. So when you are talking in the basement, you will hear this in the first floor. But for us this was not a problem at all. We can definitely recommend this location!

This might've been one of our favorite stays to date; the hosts are so, so friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment is very comfortable and the beds are great. We also really liked the spacious bathroom. As for the surroundings; there are lots of things to do and see, and the available ebikes have been used a lot during our stay! We would recommend this home to anyone and we definitely want to come back sometime!

Inge was a great host, the tent is a dream come true for any adventurer. During our stay, there were other guests on site, who were also very friendly. The bathroom incl. shower is easily accessible on foot from the tent (about 20 meters). We'd love to visit Inge and her husband again!

Our stay with Annemarie was nothing short of amazing. We had the best time at this converted barn . Big enough for 2 people on dead end road with views of the landscape and her horses. Annemarie is a warm and very kind host and she makes sure everything is to your satisfaction. We will often think back about our stay with her and certainly will return. Grietus & Kaylynne

Enjoying the large garden, making friends with cat Willem, looking for an egg every day with the kids, baking mud pies, jumping on the trampoline and sitting by the fire on the covered terrace in the evening. For us 4 adults and 2 kids this was the perfect vacation. Many thanks to Joanne and her family for their hospitality, generosity and all the thoughtful details.

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

We spent a week in Mysigt, the two houses are absolutely fantastic. High-quality furniture, super clean living spaces with loving details. The very well-kept fenced outdoor area is perched with dog and children to simply chill in the garden the day. The Drents Frisian Forest is a 5-minute walk away and an absolutely great forest for walking, climbing and enjoying nature. In 10 minutes you can reach Canada by car, where the Aekingerzand dunes are a true adventure playground. With the dog opposite, there is a dog meadow across the street that is looking for the same in Germany. We will definitely come back to Hogersmilde and definitely in one of Xer's houses! Absolutely great holiday, which I recommend at any time!

Nice place, lovely kitchen and spacious living room, large garden. Surroundings are beautiful. Niko responds very quickly!

We spent New Year's Eve here and felt right at home. Upon our arrival, Astrid and Rinus gave us a small house tour and left a fried treat. Although the house is quite old, we did not have to freeze because there are enough heaters. If you are traveling with nine adults, be aware that three of them should not have claustrophobia as they sleep in a "closet." We were super satisfied and can only recommend it.
