Our apartment in the Sierra de Madrid is located at the entrance of Mataelpino, a small town shared with Cerceda and El Boalo. It is a separate apartment located on the same property as our house. It has a living room, kitchen, and dining room that is heated in winter with a fireplace, and a bedroom with a bathroom. In the room, there is a mobile electric radiator. In summer it is very cool as it is largely built into the rock. The apartment has an independent and exclusive garden area that is fenced where there is a barbecue, a table and chairs and some garden chairs to enjoy the sunsets. It is a quiet area surrounded by nature with many paths and routes to walk and disconnect. We'll be happy to make your stay as pleasant as possible and available to help you with any questions you may have about our accommodation.

Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

The farm Quinta de Ciparros lies close to the national park Peneda-Gerês, nestled in the hills with clear spring water. We are an agroecologic farm and grow and sell vegetable boxes. Guests can place and order. The simple house with granit terrace is basically one room with a tribune sleeping place for 4 persons and an annexed bathroom downstairs. It has a terrace, an 800 m2 garden, outdoor tables and chairs, and a 30m zip line. If the weather is good, there is a pool from June to October. Enjoy!
