Vacation rentals with beach access in Douglas County

Great location, comfortable, beautiful. So many great details - coffee center, super comfy bedding, blankets all around to curl up with. Location right in the center of everything but still private. Perfect.

We really loved the location of this place. You could walk to everything for all your entertainment wants. Depending on the weather. It was so clean and so well thought out. If I could give an extra star, it would be for the lack of smell in the place and lack of smell on sheets, towels and our environment. Thank you for not putting smelling plug ins everywhere and using detergent with smells. I have and will continue to recommend this spot. It was awesome.

Great place to stay - clean, comfortable and well equipped with all the essentials. Seth and Sarah are great hosts and promptly responded to inquiries. We enjoyed the Lake Superior Brewery next door and highly recommend for dining and cocktails. We were in town to tour the Glensheen Mansion decorated for Christmas and Bentleyville. We would definitely stay here again.

The stay at Odin at the Njord was nothing short of amazing! The place is beautiful, parking was great and made it stress free. The views at sunrise are out of this world. Will definitely be staying here again.

Bobbie went out of her way to create a homey atmosphere. The upstairs apartment is spacious; there is plenty of seating for relaxation, and the king bed is very comfy. The bathroom towels were large and plush and the electric fireplace added warmth and ambience. Anyone over 6’5” will be reminded to duck in a few doorways.

We had a wonderful stay at the Brewtel. The food, drinks and staff were excellent at the Lake Superior Brewery. Very convenient. The lake walk is right behind the building and quite enjoyable. Lester Park is also very close, within walking distance of our place. Beautiful trails. Thank you Sarah and Seth! We will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed an amazing stay. A quintessential winter get away. Nora is very responsive, the house was welcoming and as described, and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. The kitchen was well appointed and the living room very comfortable. We look forward to going back!

The Lange house was very relaxing with beautiful views. The weather was cold and snowy so we didn’t get out as much as we would have liked but there was plenty of wood for the indoor fire.

Awesome house with a rural feeling, yet very close to all the Duluth attractions. Quiet cabin-ish feel helped us have a nice balance of rest vs going into Duluth and Two Harbors to see the sights. The hot tub was one of the biggest reasons we booked, and it didn't disappoint! Perfect little short getaway right before Christmas. The whole family enjoyed.

I highly recommend this place for nature lives. It sits in many acres with peaceful walkable trails. Tom was extremely responsive and friendly. The place was as described. Only a short drive to Duluth. Google maps does not accurately show the location so make sure you ask for directions. i would definitely stay there again

We had a wonderful stay! David was a great host. We had our dogs Cal and Mable along for the trip. Cal and Mable made a new friend Davids dog Jack. Jack was such a sweetheart. Good times were made playing in the lake and sitting around the campfire. I highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay for the 5 adults and 3 kids when we came up for a wedding. A short drive to duluth for the activities we had planned. Cute, quiet neighborhood. Clean house with everything you need to make meals, extra mattresses and bedding. The driveway was clear of snow and they had salted the steps for us to make sure it was not icy. Did not get a chance to try out the sauna but hopefully we will next time! Al was friendly, quick to communicate and reached out to make sure our stay was what we expected. Great place and great host!

We had a great stay. The location is private and secluded - almost like being in the country. Great place to stay if you are traveling with a dog. House was clean with all the essentials! will definitely consider booking again on a future visit!

With a family tie to the south shore of Lake Superior and ties to Duluth, Meredith’s place was an exceptional find! The fireplaces, the porch, and the sauna were incredible for the holiday season. Brighton Beach walk was 5 minutes away. We also saw 3 laker ships come by. Meredith was also super accommodating for our group. Definitely will come again!

We had a great stay. The condo was exactly as depicted online. The hosts were very responsive with all my questions. We had 8 family there and it never seemed crowded. The large table/island was ideal for our Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of games kept us busy. As we were leaving, the grandkids wanted to know when we were coming back to the condo. Very enjoyable long holiday weekend.

We had a great stay! The place was beautiful and had everything we needed, even a pack n play and high chair for our child. The location was perfect. It was worth every penny!
