Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Douala

Very good stay at Colette's home who was responsive in all of our requests. Shower room level there was not enough pressure but this is I think it is beyond the control of our host. The nights are sometimes a little cool at this time, it would have been nice to have a blanket available in the cabinets. Colette's place is in every way in line with the photos, it is quiet and felt safe. Thanks Colette for your kindness and responsiveness to each of my requests.

Jacque was very responsive and proactive. Hustle free, easily accessible. The air conditioning was excellent, overall his place is wealth every penny. Will definitely book again.

This place is beyond beautiful, clean and looks the pictures, the rooms and bathrooms are all upgraded and there is also hot water available. It’s located in a very safe neighborhood and was easy to find. They also have staff on ground that can help when you need them. One of the staff even accompanied us to the market.Thierry was very responsive and answered every question we had each time in less than 10mins. I come home every year and this is where I will be staying moving forward.

The appartment is located literally besides the main road. There's still some activity on the streets even late at night which is a good thing, if you come back home very late or if you wish to get out and grab yourself something to eat. The appartment was as described, the host Michelle was always available to provide assistance if need be. The quality of the Wi-Fi was okay considering I worked there and I could have my audio/video calls. The A/C was great, though I somewhat felt the "swing" function was limited as far as it's inclination level is concerned. In a town like Douala, a fully-funtional A/C is something crucial. The power generator did it's job as well. Regarding the TV, someone was (remotely) messing around with the channels when I was watching the FA cup finals lol. Personally, I'd like to have full control of what I watch everytime. Overall totally satisfied with the place and what it has to offer for that price... 💯 recommending it, 💯 going back !

Clean and well-equipped apartment, in a quiet and secure area. Close to downtown with easy access to transportation. The staff is attentive and available. I had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

My stay at maddie's place was wonderful. All communications with thé local contact was responsive and helpfull. The AC worked and the bathromms were clean. The building had a guard at all times who seemed like a nice young man.

It was a pleasure to stay at the property, especially as it was a longer stay that usual for me in one place. We were met upon arrival to the property and were advised throughout our stay that we can contact 24/7 at any hour for assistance. While we did not have to contact Ulrich at any unreasonable hour, every time we had communication it was responded to within a few minutes. We had a few challenges upon arrival, however they were addressed immediately to our satisfaction. There are plenty of moto's to take you around, you literally walk out of the building and they are all around, it was a great way to get back and forth for reasonable distances, other that that we used Yango (UBER in Cameroon) which worked out very well when needed, and it was easy for them to find the place. There is a small store right in front of the unit which was very useful. It was a great stay and I suggest you stay here while in Douala, you will not be disappointed.

Everything was up to date. The WI FI was perfect. The rooms were great. The gate keeper and the young man taking care of the house were always available they made us feel at home.

Great stay! In addition to the perfectly compliant photos and description, what I enjoyed most at Nina's was the location close to several restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. And for the days at home, the Wifi connection was spotless. Nina was a very responsive or even generous host by offering gifts to her hosts upon arrival and during the holiday season. Basically I would come back if I'm visiting Douala:)

If you are looking for an ideal accommodation in Douala, look no further... You are in the right place to feel at home with all the amenities needed for a pleasant and unhindered stay. I stayed in a few Airbnb's in Cameroon, Joëlle's place is really perfect. Great value for money. Electricity via solar panels +++ in a city where there are outages every day. Excellent accommodation! Super well-equipped kitchen. 2 beautiful well laid out bathrooms 2 large bedrooms with storage 1 spacious stay, beautiful decor... Good stuff!

Great stay and very pleasant host. The host is very responsive and the place is located in a very high-end neighborhood with lots of places to eat and shoppings. The staff is extraordinary and very attentive to every single request. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Douala!!!!

The host was quick to respond and resolved my issues. Him or Sam would follow up to ensure we were satisfied. Sam is phenomenal, pleasant, and respectful. I admire his work ethic. Every day, he would clean the compound. I noticed he was always working. He cleaned the house once during my 8 days on the property, and he did a good job. There are securities on the compound, so I felt safe at night.

I just stayed with the family at Frederique's apartment which is very friendly and comfortable. The on-site team is professional, responsive, and respectful. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable with good bedding. We will come back without hesitation! So I highly recommend it!

Nice accommodation well located in a quiet and peaceful area of Makepe BM. The host is very responsive and concerned about the well-being of her guests. She doesn’t hesitate to make compromises to accommodate. With improvements such as a power generator the residence would be perfect. Recommended
