If you’re looking for a sign this is it. Please stay at this beautiful place. I don’t know where to start, it’s so big you won’t have any trouble fitting in, it is stocked with everything you could ever need (seriously), the view at both day and night is to die for, and the host is the best. Plus the little farm down the road is lovely. Overall one of the best experiences I’ve had. My only recommendation if you’re staying here is bring wool socks or slippers, cause the floor is freezing most of the time. But you will have heaters available. Temperatures at night could go down to 42°F/6°C so if you log the cold this is the place for you. You can probably fit up to 2 cars or 3 if they’re small. And be aware that you’re far away from most supermarkets so bring everything you may need to cook. Overall, a wonderful experience!!

Such a beautiful and peaceful location, with an epic view! Very spacious house with incredible ocean views from every bedroom. We enjoyed listening to the howler monkeys in the morning! Its a bit of a drive from Uvita/Dominical, but well worth it for the beauty and privacy it offers. 4WD is definitely needed to get here. Roberto and Diana were very responsive and helpful! We would love to come back here someday and highly recommend this place

This was by far, the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. The photos simply do not do this place justice. The view is incredible, the property is spacious, there’s many great restraunts nearby, there’s a lot of fun adventure activities nearby as well, and the place is well kept and cleaned daily. Tucker was an incredible host, she accommodated our every request and was of great help. Thanks again, this place was the perfect choice for us!

Francesca's house is beautiful, with a nice view, private and safe. Francesca was always attentive, don Nelson was super friendly, she even gave us a tour of the estate and her wife Marcela cooked us delicious and arrived warmly at the door of the house. 10/20 I highly recommend staying at Casa Alta Vista.

We spent a 4 days here to celebrate our friends birthday and it was everything we imagined and more. it was amazing terrific experience. I can’t say a bad thing about the place or the hosts. so helpful and friendly and the house was beautiful. i wish we stayed longer!

The place is exactly as described and has a nice cozy cabin feel. The area is peaceful and beautiful surroundings. A little tricky to find but well worth the adventure and only about 10 mins from Cloudbridge. I would definitely stay here again! Good value for money and exactly as described

Cindy’s condo is the perfect retreat for a family, or for a group. It is incredibly spacious, with more room than the pictures can show. The view of San Jose was gorgeous day and night. The pool was public to the condo, and was heated. The drive Into San Jose was a touch longer than expected, but that was no biggie due to all of the other amenities. Lots of balcony space, on multiple levels have great indoor/outdoor experiences. Definitely would stay again.

We loved the small apartment but with everything you need; it looks the same as the photos are clean, safe; close to transportation, supermarket, restaurants And the building staff is friendly.

The place is same as the photos. nicely decorated, great views, a great place for breakfast accross the way, and Leidy is an excellent host.

Feeling at home in this stunning place in nature with the most kind host makes an incredible pleasant combination to rest and enjoy life fully.

I recently stayed at Casa Verde for my first trip to Costa Rica, and I can’t recommend it enough! As someone from Austin, TX, I’ve seen some amazing art, but the artwork on the walls here is absolutely mind-blowing—each piece adds so much character and warmth to the space. The house was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and felt like a true escape. The location was perfect for exploring the central valley, and the hosts were incredibly attentive and welcoming. If you’re looking for a unique and inspiring place to stay, this is it!

Monica and Peter are some of the greatest hosts we've stayed with. They really went above and beyond in helping to organize the stay and activities around the area. The property is beautiful and very private, perfect for resting a few days, comfortably but still close to nature, or going on day-tours in the surrounding area. If there were more stars to give, we would!

This place was an amazing retreat into the mountains after a long week in the humidity at envision. A beautiful place to decompress and relax amongst the clouds. Chema and Marga are amazing hosts, so kind and open with fascinating stories and insights into eco- living. The food is incredible— fresh local ingredients and made with love. I highly recommend! Definitely visit the nearby swimming holes / waterfalls as well. One of my favorite places to date!

The house was great, the location was gorgeous, and the activities around the area are endless. But, the real star was the concierge team. Hazel, Jorge, and Andrey made planning and coordinating our trip for a large group effortless. We had issues due to weather with our flights in and the team was immediately responsive to help rearrange shuttles, activities, etc. It would have been daunting without them. I cannot stress enough how much our group appreciated the team!

This is the best deal you can get. We had a group of 9 stay here and was very spacious. For the price you pay you get two trails on the property one leading to a waterfall. There are deer that you can go pet on the property and have a gate guard the whole time so you’re protected. Every single room has a view of the city which is tremendous sight to see. On top of that Chris, the grounds keeper, was very polite. He worked well with our check in considering we arrived at 3am. He knows the area well and has suggestions and always available to help with anything to need. If you plan to be around the San Jose are, this property/ AirBnB is a no brainer.

Literally the most perfect setting for our healing retreat! We came during rainy season and being in the hills and forests were a gift each day when the rain moved in. The surroundings are lush with life and invite you to just slow down and breathe. There’s several stores and restaurants close by with a local farmers market on Tuesdays. Then a town and beach located about 20 mins away that has an awesome farmers market on Fridays(we preferred this market but both offered a fun local vibe). Marta prepared our meals and kept the house tidy during our 8 day stay. We loved her too. We will be returning and several of my retreat guests are planning to book for their friends and families to enjoy again. Truly, it was that good!!

Spectacular hosts, they quickly become your friend! Andrea, his family and his home are a unique experience. The view, training room and all utilities inside the house are worthy of a luxury home, the unparalleled security and privacy of the place allows you to enjoy the fresh air and the view of the entire city of Cartago. Note: They wake up in the early morning and go out to the balcony of the master bedroom! They will thank me

Villa Bella Vista was absolutely gorgeous! Upon arrival, we were greeted by Liberty, our fabulous host! Liberty assisted us getting our belongings inside and then took us on a helpful tour of this beautiful vacation rental! The only thing more breathtaking than the view was the abundance of toucans and various tropical birds! We loved bird watching daily and took walks to explore the tropical flora and fauna!!! Our group of five loved the outdoor gathering spaces and also enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool one sunny afternoon! The kitchen is well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the cleanliness was superb! I throughly enjoyed the soaker tub! Liberty truly made our stay memorable with assisting us before, during and after we left! She responded immediately to each of our questions and was incredibly kind, arranging transportation and lunch reservations! Although our visit was short, it felt like we were kindred spirits! We highly recommend Casa Bella Vista!!!
