This cabin has been recently remodeled with high end furnishings and appliances in a quiet setting but close to the local amenities. Each bedroom has a California king-size bed and a Wifi connected smart TV. There is a 50" flat screen in the living room, 3 Sonos speakers to play your music and the kitchen is stocked with plenty of Williams Sonoma cookware, knives, and dishes.

We had a great stay ! The cabin was very comfy and spacious. We bought our dogs and the cabin was ideal for the dogs- they can be let outside with the gate locked and they are safe . The kitchen has the appropriate amenities for your stay . The main heat source is a wood burning stove which does a nice job but you have to stay on top of it . We would definitely stay at this cabin again !

Wonderful small cabin for a great relaxing getaway. Beautiful view of the forest out every window and it feels very private. Perfect for a puzzle and reading vacation. Julieta was great at answering questions and was really nice. We were hoping for snow but missed it by 20ish days. Based on the pictures it looks like snow would be beautiful at the cabin. We would recommend it :)

This was our 3rd year at the Thomas Retreat. Although we didn't get snow we thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Not too far up Hwy 4 we found snow to let the kids play. Loved coming back to the cabin to warm up in the jacuzzi. Close enough in town to run to Big Trees market for anything we might have forgot. Love that the kitchen is nice and open to the living room and rest of the house. Also, appreciate the nice new couches. Beds were comfortable and linens super soft. Thank You Lynn.

Mike’s place is adorable. It’s the perfect cabin in the mountains. It’s cozy, well-equipped, peaceful, and stylish. The bathroom was pristine and the furnishings were lovely. This was a welcomed respite and weekend getaway. There was no snow in Arnold when we were there, but the snow was just a short drive away. We made dinners and breakfasts while we were there and the kitchen was fully equipped. Would totally stay here again.

Super cute cabin - it looks exactly like the pictures! Renovated with modern decorations while maintaining the cozy 1950s cabin feel. Very clean and cozy. Location is 15 minutes from downtown Sonora and 35 minutes to Dodge Ridge. The hot tub hit the spot after a day of skiing and snowboarding! Quirky things you should know: 1) There's no proper meal/game table - only limited counter seating. There's a huge ottoman in the living area, but it's not the best surface for game boards. 2) There's no dishwasher, but hey, it's cabin life! 3) The microwave is on top of the fridge, so if you are short, this may be awkward. 4) Upon checkout, you need to strip the beds and take out the trash. This is common to most Airbnb's we've stayed at, but if you are accustomed to hotel life, this one takes a bit of getting used to. Otherwise, we had wonderful family time together with our teenagers. I highly recommend!
