Family-friendly vacation rentals in Dillon Beach

A clean, two-bedroom, one bath cottage with character and within walking distance of the Railroad business district. An L-shaped, full, private garden, with hot tub, and bbq area. The east-facing deck chairs invited morning coffee and evening wine. As a solo traveler, I felt safe here and slept soundly. The house has good vibes. The well-appointed kitchen is a plus. Allen is a good guy and maintains the house well. Everything worked (except a few window shades), and nothing broke while I was there. The washer and dryer are a bonus for travelers. I would stay here again.

We had an excellent stay, and our family trip to Sonoma and Napa Valley was fabulous! We definitely would stay here again.

Mary's listing in Guerneville was wonderful; highly recommend to anyone seeking serenity in a comfy (clean) cabin. The location was ideal, close to everything; the cabin was quaint and cozy- with all the amenities you would need for a mini getaway. Hot tub was a plus; comfortable and very clean. Instructions for everything were clear. We would definitely return!

This place was perfect for the location, backyard, and hottub! I would highly recommend this place as it’s 3 minutes from downtown or a 10-15 minute easy walk. Also, the backyard has a cute covered patio and a hottub. The place was cute and cozy and would come back again!

Charming little cabin in a great area! It’s conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown, with plenty of dining options and little shops. Cabin was super spacious and had great amenities. Would visit again.

The place was exactly like the picture showed. The house has lots of space very comfortable. We enjoy so much the playroom and it’s huge. The location of the house was fantastic right in the center of everything. Very well equipped kitchen and the beds was superb. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

Jeanette’s house is nestled in the woods a perfect setting to get away. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with just about everything you can think of. There was a lot of artwork and homey touches. I would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful and peaceful cottage on the river! Everything was just as pictured, with warm designer touches. The hot tub was wonderfully clean, and the linens were crisp and fresh. Second (outdoor) bathroom and shower downstairs was a great surprise. Fireplace was lovely. A really well managed property in a unique location. Try ziplining, or an in-house massage :). Loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Amazing view of the Tómales Bay, Dillon’s beach and Point Reyes. Enjoyed fresh oysters and elephant seal watching for a perfect getaway! Toni’s place was spacious and very comfortable for 5 of us plus dogs. Would love to stay again!

Amy and Edgar are the most gracious hosts! Any issues (unlikely) are dealt with quickly and without a fuss. The rooms are nice and nicely appointed. Not stuffy but comfortable. The location is great if you like to walk. The trailhead is a short (steep) walk up the hill. Plenty of great restaurants in San Anselmo and Fairfax to make you feel like you need that workout! Marin hiking is world-class in general. Just find a trailhead and start walking!

Like a cozy cottage or cabin, definitely “drenched” in sunshine…an open and light, clean and welcoming space that was peaceful and restorative. Exactly as described and more….everything thought out for you ahead of time. Lisa and Dana were always quick to respond and were available without ever being intrusive. The neighborhood is pretty and very walkable and we felt very much at home.

2nd time staying here! Great space with nice touches that are appreciated and it’s centrally located for Oakland and the East Bay. Will definitely come back next time I do Airbnb in Oakland

The house was perfect for us. The location was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Very close to hiking and a short drive for day trips to wine country and exploring cities and beaches. Annie was a great host. Checking in was very easy and she was available for anything we needed. I'd look forward to staying in her home on future trips.

We were looking for a place that was dog friendly, private and peaceful , in a scenic area and fun for our family of 4. Sweet Creek delivered. We wish we could have stayed longer but the one night we were there was special for our family and Cookie was a super gracious host. Thanks.

Renee's cozy cottage was just what we wanted for our two night stay. It's tucked up on a hill above the main house in the middle of a gorgeous valley. Renee was a super responsive and helpful host and check in was flexible and easy. There were plenty of clean linens, towels, pillows, iron and board, and even a standing fan. The pull out couch and queen bed were both very comfortable. We did not get a chance to use the kitchen but it was fully equipped. I fully recommend this place to anyone considering it.

We had the coziest Christmas at the Valley Villa! The house accommodated 2 as easily as it did 5-6 of us, with a warm fire, plenty of serving pieces, and snuggly beds. The grounds were beautiful - with deer, hares, and a rafter of turkeys! We loved the outdoor hot tub under the stars and yearned for summer days by the pool. Glen Ellen Village Market, Les Pascals patisserie, and the Glen Ellen Star restaurant were close enough to dip into town and then back home. Our hosts were incredibly helpful with instructions and recommendations. Thank you for sharing your space with us for the holidays!

Our stay at this exquisite and luxurious home was simply divine. Its prime location afforded us effortless access to the renowned wineries and tasting rooms of Lasseter, Beltane, Imagery, Benzinger, and Tailsman. The convenience of a local grocery store, delightful restaurants, and a charming French bakery, all within walking distance, further enhanced our experience. The generously sized hot tub, impeccably clean and perfectly heated, provided blissful relaxation. The beautifully landscaped yard, complete with the soothing sounds of the creek, created a truly magical and restorative ambiance. Every detail of our visit was flawless, exceeding all expectations. We eagerly anticipate our return to this haven of tranquility.

Out of all of our stays, this has been the best! Adam and Eli both were responsive to our messages and wasted no time in helping my wife and I discover hidden gems only locals know about! They truly went above and beyond! If you’re going during cold months, I recommend getting the pool heated, definitely worth it. DO NOT pass this stay up! You’ll regret it!

Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. Amenities and supplies were as described, and the house had a very open, relaxing and warm flow to it. Great family trip especially with the heated pool in winter! Gina was very helpful and responsive with all of our questions ahead of and during our stay.

I absolutely fell in love with this gorgeous property!! The house was so well kept and styled very well with everything you could need in the kitchen. We had a slight issue with water when we checked in but they were quick to communicate with us and we resolved the issue quickly. The pool area and grounds were absolutely stunning. The condo was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. Although we only traveled one hour to Napa, we felt like we were on vacation as soon as we arrived at the condo. The place is beautiful and so clean inside. It is in a nice peaceful location right next to the golf course and just a short 5 to 10 minute drive to downtown Napa. We are already looking at the calendar to see when we are able to come back and possibly spend an extra day or two there. Thank you!

This was ideal home for we five friends looking to enjoy wine tasting, great restaurants, shopping, cooking in-house, spacious rooms. Large attractive table for meals; cozy kitchen nook with afternoon sun; living room ideal for relaxing and playing charades. For the reasonable extra fee, we enjoyed the warm pool in cold winter. Beds were comfy-so important. Nice to have the 2 bathrooms. Located just under 2 miles from Sonoma Plaza and close to local wineries. Nearby- outstanding Sonoma Market for fresh everything. Quick communication from host.
