Vacation rentals in Dickenson County

If you're looking to enjoy nature and disconnect, this is the place! So close to the Breaks interstate Park (5 minutes?), which is filled with great hiking. And the cabin is perfect for family fun - ping pong tournaments and Ms. PacMan! - plus a hot tub for post hike relaxing. This part of VA is very remote so there are not a ton of restaurants nearby so come prepared! That said, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could need!

If you decide to explore Breaks Interstate Park and the Crooked Road, consider staying at this newly renovated apartment in Virginia. The ground-level accommodations (very comfortable) feature a spacious bedroom with two queen-size beds, a kitchenette with seating area, and a bathroom with shower and washer-dryer. The location, which overlooks a river and rolling hills, is only 8 miles from Virginia’s “Grand Canyon.” The Crooked Road leads visitors to attractions including the Ralph Stanley Museum, the Carter Family Fold, and the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. Our host was welcoming and eager to meet our needs. The town of Haysi, Virginia, offers a small grocery store, restaurants, shops, and a gas station. We would certainly consider staying there again.

We stayed at a beautiful home in Breaks, VA. We were in town for a funeral and this home was in a nice quiet area to come home to during a couple of very stressful and exhausting days. This home was super clean and beautifully upgraded. Evolve was very helpful and accommodating when we unexpectedly needed to stay an extra night. They went above and beyond to help. Would stay here again 10/10.

Wonderful place, very cozy. Felt like we were staying at our Grandma's place. It is a little out of the way, but perfect location for visiting Breaks Interstate (which is gorgeous!!). Judy was wonderful at answering all my questions. I would stay here again.

Myself and 8 other family members rented the Holly House and would happily recommend the property to anyone looking to stay in the area. We came to town to attend my daddy’s funeral, and the property being 30 minutes to the funeral home was a huge plus. Another plus was; the 9 of us fitting comfortably along with 3 large dogs. Property made us feel very “at home”. I personally loved the old vintage stove and oven! Plenty of towels which is a big deal for me. Comfortable beds. We will happily stay here again when we come back to KY.

We have stayed here multiple times, this place is definitely worth it and we enjoy how private it is.

Great place to stay if you are visiting nearby Breaks Interstate Park, just 10 min away. Conveniently located, near Dollar General and gas station. Thought of all the details, kitchen stocked with basics and multiple coffee options—espresso machine, coffee pot, and pour over options. We were able to cook in the kitchen easily. The river behind the property is gorgeous!
