Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Devils Lake

Randy and Roxy were amazing, accommodating hosts and their place was clean, comfortable, and so cozy! Very convenient distance to Hillsdale College. We would love to stay there again next time we visit Hillsdale!

This is such a charming place. Immaculately maintained and squeaky clean. Everything is exactly as described. We highly recommend it! Close to everything, yet seems very private. Wonderful, most accommodating hostess.

We had a wonderful time at the Gatehouse. Jennifer was super responsive to any questions we had during our stay. The house was super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The holiday decor was beautiful and festive for our Christmas get together. The Gatehouse had everything from shampoo in the bathrooms, dishwashing detergent in the kitchen and a first aid kit in the laundry room. We loved ask the thoughtful extras . We will definitely look at staying in Brooklyn MI again. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Daniel’s Airbnb is the place to go if you want a peaceful place for your family and pets for a vacation. Can’t say enough great things about this place. Hot tub was amazing with a large TV on the back porch you can access while in the tub:) Kitchen was well stocked for all your cooking needs to make homemade meals on your stay. A lot of thought has went into to this place and you can tell. Hope to be able to visit again in the summer to enjoy the lake.

As a host myself who allows multiple big dogs, we are so appreciative of hosts who are just as welcoming! The dog pack loved the back yard and walking the neighborhood. We appreciated Joe’s helpful texts and offers to share local knowledge. The weight room was a nice bonus and amazing heat during a cold spell with snow during thanksgiving. Location is also perfect if not familiar with Ann Arbor. It’s easy to get around

I can’t say enough about Lisa and Phillip’s property. We got married this past weekend in Ann Arbor where I grew up, and the Lodge was the most perfect home base for our wedding weekend. We had been deliberating about booking a place closer to downtown, but knew as soon as we walked in to the Lodge that we had made the absolute right decision. Phillip and Lisa are so wonderful and thought of every detail. Pictures truly do not do their place justice. The wood throughout the house is so beautiful, the natural light is gorgeous. It is so clear how much love and care and pride they’ve put into the home. It is the perfect combination of homey and modern and rustic and high tech. It feels like a private retreat but is only ten minutes from downtown. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We feel so lucky to have been able to spend our wedding weekend at the Huron River Lodge. We are already strategizing about how we can come back and book our next stay!

Erin’s place was beautiful. The water was so clear! Beds were super comfortable, and area was nice and quiet.

The location was perfect, close to university and close to downtown. The apartement has everything you need. Best part was the host. Rebekah was there whenever I needed something. She was super friendly and answered fast whenever I texted her. I felt very comfortable during my whole five week stay. Grateful that I found this place. Totally recommended!

A beautiful getaway with everything you need to enjoy the surrounding land and Wolf Lake. Tim provides an abundance of supplies for activities like biking, kayaking, fishing, and more. It’s the perfect peaceful retreat!

We were traveling from Chicago to my daughter's home in Ypsilanti for Thanksgiving. While 20 minutes away, this was a beautiful property with a cozy feel thanks to the furnishings and fireplaces. Little added touches like a dedicated electric pot for tea, teabags and a small jar of honey were appreciated. Plenty of extra throws/blankets for cuddling on the couch. A large yard (not fenced) to take our puppy out to. Also nice to have an indoor garage space to use. Helpful in the cold. Amy was a pleasure to communicate with!

Clean, cozy, and unbeatable hospitality. Rosemary and Doug were wonderful hosts for our family and gave us a perfect landing pad for a Labor Day getaway that felt both relaxing and like an adventure. Enjoy swimming off the dock or take a paddle around the lake in one of the kayaks to enjoy the water. Or, if you’re lucky, Rosemary and Doug will take you on a tour of Round Lake on their pontoon. You can even have some family bonding time inside watching a movie or playing ping pong in the downstairs game room. And don’t forget to give Ashes the cat (who prowls the outside) lots of pets. He’s a good boy who keeps the yards free of mice and chipmunks. The kids LOVED playing (and crafting) in the treehouse. A very memorable perk! Don't miss the village shops, the bonfire pit with *incredible* sunset views, and walks near the water too. If you’re looking for a comfy little nook to slow down and enjoy the lake life, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay.

This space was absolutely incredible! The lake views were serene and the atmosphere was wonderful. Steve and Cheryl were exceptionally responsive and allowed us to check in early due to our timing. Highly recommend!

Bronwen was a joy to stay with! She was very communicative and flexible on check in time. She had coffee and freshly baked bread for me upon check in. She even took me to pick up a bike nearby, and later brought me one day to the really cute farmer’s market nearby! She checked in a lot during my month long stay and constantly offered to get me more supplies. Overall awesome place to stay!!

We loved our stay! This little cottage is on a beautiful piece of property. Gorgeous area for fall colours! It was easy to find and very private. The place was comfy and fully equipped. Having a bathroom sink with a mirror next to an outlet is the only suggestion I'd give. The highlight was meeting Nicole who is extremely personable and friendly. Her tour of the barns and horses was lots of fun! Thanks Nicole!

This place was so cute and cozy. It was perfect for us to visit family living across the lake!

This house was an amazing find. We had nine family members (5 adults, three children, and a teenager) and everyone was able to fit nicely in this house. The property feels very private & remote, with tons of land surrounding it, but is still only 35 minutes from Ann Arbor and 55 minutes from DTW. We used it to explore nearby Chelsea as well as a home base to attend the UofM game. Given the high cost of game day AirBnBs in Ann Arbor, this place was a total steal! And the house itself is very nice with all the amenities you could ask for. Annette is super responsive and was always very friendly. The only drawback is relatively slow internet (YouTube TV is the available live TV in the house) but it's very clear in the instructions that they have the highest speed possible in this rural area so they have done the best they could and instead the focus is on the beautiful natural surroundings and wildlife (we had deer, foxes, geese, and cranes). All in all, great stay!!

We had a wonderful time! The house was big enough for our large family get-together - and then some. Two refrigerators definitely made bringing and storing enough food for three days, plus a Thanksgiving meal, easier than using coolers and ice. (Yes, we’ve “roughed it” in the past.) Being pet friendly was the deciding factor for our choice of where to stay. :)

Beautiful home in peaceful countryside! We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was so comfortable and clean. Our kids enjoyed playing in the backyard and seeing the horses. And the fresh bread and butter was delicious. Would love to come back.

Everything about this stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was exactly perfect for what my daughter, brother, and I needed while staying in the area for Thanksgiving. The host was SO accommodating, friendly, and responsive and the grounds were both beautiful and peaceful. We'd recommend staying here to anyone needing a sweet little getaway!

Kaylee was a great host. When the first cabin I went to book was already booked, she quickly recommended this one to us which was very helpful because this cabin hadn't shown up on my initial search in the app.

We stayed at the Lodge while in town for our daughter's wedding. As a family of scouts, hunters, and military - the house, grounds and location were amazing and comfortable and felt very welcoming and familiar. We took advantage of the expansive grounds and dog friendly atmosphere to enjoy long walks and outside activities. We weren't staying long and didn't have our entire family, so we didn't make use of the extensive and varied board games and outside activities available, but it was great to see the location had plenty for guests to do in good and bad weather without leaving the property. Rachel was very helpful, welcoming and provided clear instructions for everything. The property management was on site 2 days for maintenance around the grounds but they were quiet and unobtrusive and did not inconvenience or disturb us at all. We will definitely stay here again for a family gathering.
