Vacation rentals in Des Moines County

Was very pleased to see house decorated for Christmas !! Our accommodations where all taken care of . Had an ice storm threw the night her husband was out taking care of salting and clearing sidewalks by sunrise . Me and my family totaling 7 had plenty of room to enjoy our stay great beds to rest in and plenty of Christmas movies to stream . Learned that my future daughter in law enjoys playing the piano and is good at it !! Thanks again for an awesome trip to connect with my kids and grandkids !!!

John was helpful and kind from the get go. His place is exactly as it is described. We were happy to have a cozy. clean private place to rest after a long day of travel & soccer (2nd place overall in the tournament!) We appreciated the proximity to dining and the soccer complex. We loved the morning view of the sunrise at mosquito park.

Beautiful place! Very cozy! Love the games and amenities! The only thing the internet was slightly slow when watching a movie.

Snake Alley Inn was great. Even better than the description. The old house has been completely renovated and is in excellent condition. It was a great place for our family. The only negative is the walk up beautiful Snake Alley. Taking luggage and supplies up and down was hard, no driving during winter months. Snake Alley was decorated beautifully for the Holidays. We had our private light show.

It was a nice place and easy to get checked in. Just as described. Felt right at home and reasonably priced.

Space was exactly as described. Safe neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Clean. Pet friendly was very important to us and we and our dog felt right at home! We will be back to Burlington often to visit family and hope to stay at Katrina’s again.

Beautiful loft with a generous amount of space imo. Loved being able to use the stackable washer/dryer and get a good nights sleep. Despite being right off of a main road there was hardly any noise. Also to mention bc I’m not from this area, mid-stay it began to snow. I had to run back and forth doing a couple of long distance drives and coming in and leaving Burlington was so well maintained from the streets being shoveled to salt down on small roads through the highway (74). It was very reassuring considering the added stress of an unexpected winter storm. Would love to stay again in the future.

This was a stunning place to stay! We were in town with family for my father's memorial and it was so nice to have plenty of beds and seating areas. Everything was clean. So beautifully decorated, my family kept saying "Why wouldn't they want to live here?" Highly recommend!
