Houseboat vacation rentals in Denmark

We had a great stay at Toke and Barbara’s place. The boathouse is so comfortable and unique. We had everything we could need and more during our 3 day visit. Highly recommend

What a lovely few days staying on Eva's beautiful house boat! Eva was the best host - so communicative and welcoming, also being incredibly flexible with my check in times - both allowing me to leave my luggage early as well as letting me check in ahead of time too, which after a very early flight was very welcomed! The boat is situated in a perfect location - easy to get around central Copenhagen and what I particularly loved was how quiet it was at night! You would never believe you were so central, it was really peaceful. It was easy to find - I got a taxi direct from the airport - tip: the boat is the white one in the photographs. It is easy to get on/off and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use the ladder too. It was very clean, had all the amenities you could need (towels, hairdryer, kettle, coffee, tea, toilet paper, etc) and was surprisingly spacious! Moreso than I expected. Eva’s house boat was the perfect place to stay with my mom and sister for a girls trip! The location was fantastic, in the heart of the city, but the area was very quiet. There were a couple of spiders around the house, but nothing too crazy. We would have definitely loved some curtains in the main space, as there was nowhere to change before/ after the shower. Overall, would stay again!!

I stayed on Martin and Elise's houseboat with my 3 sons. We had everything we needed and the boat was clean and tidy. Martin and Elise were so hospitable and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a good time (early check in/late check out, drinks in the fridge etc). The location is very quiet and peaceful (sit in the hammock and watch the ducks go by for ultimate relaxation) but you can still get into the centre either by bus or harbour bus (i.e. the water bus which goes from just outside Copenhagen Opera House). I downloaded the DOT app and paid for all journeys online which made things very easy. The airport is around 30 mins away by Metro (M2) & then bus (2A), then a short walk. I highly recommend you try out this accommodation if you're looking for something a little different and enjoy calm and peaceful surroundings.

We had a fantastic stay. The location is wonderful to enjoy Copenhagen from a different point of view and for the kids is a wonderful experience

Everything was great again from the communication, from the check-in to the amenities and the time on the houseboat itself. A wonderful start to the New Year :-)

We had a wonderful stay at Liane's houseboat Blue Pearl. It was clean, tidy, and with the amenities that should be for a great holiday for two adults and two children. One bedroom is at the same time a walk-through room to the front door, but it wasn't a problem for us. The boat is very nice and is absolutely fantastic in Marina Minde, and we can highly recommend a stay here. When it's good weather, the deck is a must to be on, with the best views of the water. Liane had given great instructions and answered the questions we had. We are happy to come again and can highly recommend the place!

This was a great stay from beginning to end! The accommodation is exactly as described and so convenient to the Metro, shopping centre and other facilities. Søren was friendly and helpful from start to finish, communication was excellent and she is flexible with check in/out when she can be. It is a fantastic location and it was amazing to actually stay in someone's home - this gave us a real insight into the way of life in Copenhagen. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to be surrounded by local life, while at the same time having a quiet and beautiful location. Thank you so much to our hosts!

This place is not only a deam little summer house, it is an experience! We loved it, will definitely be back!

Lovely place and absolutely amazing in the summer. Despite the rain and heavy wind, we had a lovely New Year's Eve in the “cabin”. There was what you needed and what we expected. We had bought a guest ticket for the sauna, which worked super well and easily. Jesper (host) had been great at guiding us around the purchase of the sauna and was generally quick and very service minded in his response. Can easily be recommended 😊
