We had a nice stay at Elizabeth’s house. The place is easy to access, the housekeeper is responsive and informative, and everything is tidy and clean exactly like the photos. We encountered some issue when we wanted to check in due to a misunderstanding with third parties, but the housekeeper managed to solve it smoothly and quickly, allowing us to have a good rest there. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay and we will definitely recommend it to our family and friends.

The place is very nice, close to many temples in Jogja. The house is clean, and the host is very responsive and kind. We requested some additional items that were not in the house, such as a knife, a kids’ bike hairdryer, and the host provided them to us. We would be happy to return there in the future.

My family and I already missed ‘When in Solo’ even before we left. It was definitely a place where we can wind down from our hectic family activities. Such a Memorable cultural experience for our children, Exactly what we had expected maybe more. Mas Min and Mbak Yuni are gems who catered excellent service each and every day. They made us feel like we are coming back home where we find comfort. We did not just leave with memories but we also have gained more family members by knowing them ‘When In Solo’ Thank you for pak Djodi and ibu Maya, your kindness to accommodate all our needs during our stay. We look forward to coming back again.

The villa exceeded our expectations. It was aesthetically pleasing and tastefully furnished. The location was quite strategic for our need to explore the city and have a culinary adventure. Our family of six, including an eight-month-old baby, had a great time and felt at ease during our entire stay. With the baby with us, we needed some childproofing done, and the host and their team made it super easy for us.

Nice place, located near Prambanan. Clean and comfortable. A little bit addition like bigger fridge and AC in the living room (currently using ceiling fan and standing fan), will make it perfect. Overall great stay, and swimming pool is a nice addition. Host is very communicative and helpfull. Thank you 🙏🙏

The stay was peaceful and breezy! Charlotte was Anna amazing host, so helpful and welcoming. The best place to stay around Solo! Will definitely be back! The house and surroundings are beautiful, we especially liked the traditional Javanese style. There are many spots to relax, our favourite was the table on the porch surrounded by greenery (a perfect spot for a morning coffee).

This is our second time staying at Omah Kampung Opa Doel and were very happy to be back. The pictures do not do the place justice. It is so spacious and comfortable for a big group like ours, a perfect retreat in the mountains away from the city. The on-site staff are friendly and helpful with any questions or issues. Sekar was very responsive to our messages, and she helped us out when one of our group fell ill. Highly recommended for a big or extended family who want to explore Gunung Kidul or just get away from the city.

first"the host is very good and responsive in communicating.. the instructions are clear and answer the question" well. for the venue : at the price offered, very suitable. there are 2 rooms, 1 with air conditioning and 1 without air conditioning. because I came with 4 so we would sleep in 1 room. 1 bathroom with a bit small water pressure, but it's still tolerable, for cleanliness is also quite good. overall our visit there was quite okay. to Pramabanan Temple is only a 10-minute walk by crossing the highway. recommended for budget travelers. thank you sir!
