Anna’s mountain house was the perfect weekend getaway. A group of 10 of us stayed very comfortably as a gathering of both adults and kids. The house was cozy with plenty of living and gathering spaces. Some of the highlights for us was going on nature walks on the beautiful property featuring a pond and a babbling brook that we could walk over on a boardwalk, the simple on/off gas fireplace made for wonderful heat and ambiance, well appointed kitchen was conducive to large group meals, and the furnishings throughout the house were so functional and so stylish. Anna herself couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful and responsive- going above and beyond to ensure our multi family weekend getaway went off without a hitch. We all agreed we will absolutely be returning. This location would be great during any season and we can’t wait to experience it during other times of the year as well. Thanks again Anna!

This home was absolutely beautiful and surpassed our expectations! The views are incredible. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. The primary bedroom bed was so comfortable. Radiant heating floors for our winter stay were also awesome. Amazing fireplace and chopped wood on-site. The hosts were so lovely and responsive. A bit of a dirt road to get to the house, but nothing an all-wheel car can't handle. 15/20 minutes to Windham town and great proximity to anything you'd need. We would certainly come back. Fantastic stay all around!

Great host and place all around! Kim was very responsive before, during, and after the trip. The amenities were great and location was close by Plattekill. She recommended ahead of time to bring an AWD vehicle as her driveway is on an incline. I’d recommend this stay.

I just stayed here for my birthday and let me say this is the best birthday I have had in years. Asa’s home was beautiful and perfect even for winter days as you don’t even need to leave the house. You can tell that this home is so thought out and means a lot to Asa and his wife. This place is stunning 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to get away for a weekend. You won’t regret it.

Fabulous home! very homey. well equipped, nice decor. there is board games, vinyl music collection, great coffee, super nice kitchen. Host was friendly and gave us popcorn. the spices were complete. the hot tub and BBQ grill is super nice. there is a nice fire pit near the forest. the deck surrounded the 2nd floor and it's awesome to be able to walk out from your bedroom. thank you!

We just finished a two month rental of John’s wonderful home. Our family of 5 used the home primarily on the weekends when we were enjoying ski season at Belleayre Mountain. I can’t say enough great things about this home. Our family felt totally at home - every aspect was perfectly maintained and the home maximized comfort. Our favorite part of the home was the great room where we would watch movies on the huge family sofa in front of a crackling fire. It was the perfect way to end a day of skiing. Our kids loved the downstairs family room with the foosball table and there were lots of games to play and keep everyone busy and entertained. And the kitchen is huge and very well stocked with all the appliances you will ever need. So it was a fantastic 2 months and we look forward to renting this property again!

Very quiet location set back in the woods, nice and relaxing. Easy 5 minute drive into Town. Couple of very minor glitches outside of anyone’s control ( sub zero temps and snowstorm!! ) were all dealt with very quickly. Will definitely have friends and family stay again

What a great long weekend! The property was beautiful, house was very neat and clean, and the views were AMAZING. Everything was as advertised. Hosts were great, responsive, and their instructions and expectations were crystal clear. Guests I was staying with were already talking about booking this location again for themselves in the future as we were checking out as they wanted to stay longer!!!
