Waterfront vacation rentals in Dartmouth

Very nice place to stay. The view from the back yard is priceless and is very relaxing .She has everything there to make for a nice evening outside ,patio lights, firepit ,lite up dock and picnic table right on the water. Inside is very clean and cozy and is not lacking for anything that you might need .This is not a place that you want to make any excessive noise as there is another residence right above you.

Great location for our stay. Apartment was clean and spacious with most comfortable beds. Jin was easy to contact and responded to requests quickly. The lake was a bonus with dock for swimming and plenty of outside seating. We would definitely recommend for an enjoyable stay in Dartmouth!

Thank you for being such lovely hosts! We immediately felt right at home. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It was a wonderful place to wake up to the snow. Thoughtful amenities, lots of space, comfortable places to eat, drink, read and watch Christmas movies. We didn't want to leave. So much generosity was extended to us due to the storm, and I look forward to returning! We very much were well taken care of.

This was the most amazing place. We spent a week here and Everything you needed or wanted was right in this place. The surroundings were peaceful, very inviting. Gillian checked in with us halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfy. The firepit is beautiful there was a fully stacked wood pile to use for the fire. There were lots of chairs all around to sit outside or out by the the dock. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Gillian and Scott for your hospitality.

Amazing location, the views were so nice especially the drive there being able to see the water was just beautiful. Such great hosts as well! We were there for a short time but it felt just like home!

Holly & James are some of the best hosts out there! Their place was comfortable and home-like. Everything you'd need for a short or long stay (I stayed 2+ weeks). They're super friendly, and very responsive and helpful when needed. I'm sure I could go on and on if asked, so I'll just end with the fact that I'd have no qualms whatsoever staying at their place again, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking at staying in Dartmouth.

Beautiful, quiet locations right on the water. While we were there in the rainy December months, it was still a beautiful spot and perfect for us as we needed to be close to the airport. Lovely hosts that were very accommodating!

We chose this place because it was close by and it is Winter. We had a big snow storm the day of our arrival. Fortunately we only had a 20 min drive and yet it felt like we were in the woods. Robert greeted us and showed us around his lovely home. It was a place where the whole family could spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together. All eight of us declared it was the best family Christmas we had in a long time. The beauty could be seen from every window. We were provided with everything we needed to have meals together and to play games and the young adults loved the hot tub. Robert had a beautiful Christmas tree set up and there was lots of little cozy spots to have one on one chats with each other. We realized after meeting Robert that he would be so cool to hang out with but he had other family plans. We are seriously considering making it a new Christmas Tradition.

We stayed as a group of 8 adults + 1 child and had a great time! Micheline's house has lots of room to comfortably accomodate a large group. It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Micheline was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would stay here again.

Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

I visited during the winter, and the place was gorgeous! My boyfriend and I stayed for the whole week while our friends joined us for a night. Lots of space, everywhere was comfortable. The hot tub was super nice too, didn't hold heat super well but it was -11⁰C regularly at night when we would use it, so that's understandable. Greg was very responsive and easy to contact. Answered our questions quickly. Overall, I would stay here again.

We had a fabulous 2 week vacation at the Blue Heron guest house in Tantallon. We wished it could of been longer! Great hosts, very helpful and accommodating. Spectacular views especially loved watching the seals. Would 100% recommend!!

This is a beautiful stay in a great location! The house was even nicer in person than the photos and the outdoors was incredibly beautiful. We loved the fire pit outside on a cold winter day and the inside of the house was great for a large group. The house was clean and we appreciated that she allowed us to check in a bit early. The only slight issue I had was I messaged her through Airbnb for check in information the week of my stay and did not receive a response, so the next day I sent her a text message. She did promptly respond to the text message so this may be the better way to reach her. I would definitely recommend this stay.

Alex and his house are amazing. I would give Alex 10 Stars out of 5 if I could. He was very accommodating and very responsive to us before, and during our stay. The house is well equipped throughout, including the kitchen to do everything you need. The view is out of this world and is like something from a movie. The rooms are spacious, the living areas are perfect to relax and look at the Atlantic Ocean whilst ships cruise past. Access to the beach was easy and the little peninsula has a fireplace that just completes the whole package. It is private and just what we needed. I highly recommend Alex and his spectacular house for anyone and everyone!

Can’t say enough about how beautiful this space is! The house is even better than the photos (which are also very good). Our group loved the space, the gorgeous view, and its walkability to Peggy’s cove and various restaurants and shops. We even loved the bed linens so much we tried to figure out where they were from lol! Absolutely recommend this home for visitors to NS or locals looking for a weekend getaway:)
