Vacation rentals in Darkwood

A beautiful property with extensive lawn area which was appreciated by the fur-baby. The house was comfortable with a pizza oven which we did no use. The property would have been used well by a large family or group. I am not a fan of seagrass mats and do wonder how well they get cleaned. The tiled floors, I think, would have been sufficient. Extra garbage bags, bucket and mop, and broom and dust pan would have made cleaning up after one self much easier. Was it worth the money paid? Not for a couple as we did not use the available space to its max.

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful beachside house in Sawtell! The location was unbeatable – just steps from the beach, The house itself was well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel instantly at home - we also had perfect weather which made it even better. The living space was open and airy, The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and the outdoor space was great The hosts were responsive and friendly. Having 2 bathrooms was very handy with 4 teenagers in tow. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and plan to book again.

Leanne and Mark's place is a beautiful cottage in lovely bushland close to both Sawtell and Coffs Harbour. We loved the cottage, very very clean, contemporary in design and overall very comfortable. We only had one night here, wished we had more. Leanne was a responsive and kind host. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing time at the Mill Cottage. The house was perfect for our family. Amazing views to watch the sunrise and just relax. A beautiful home for the perfect getaway. Walking distance to the lagoon and beach on the boardwalk. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and would love to go there again. I highly recommend it. Mark is extremely kind and helpful too :) The place was fit with everything. It all went so smoothly. Thanks so much Mark!

Nikita's place is an absolute gem, and we would highly recommend it as a place to go and relax as it feels like home without the "to do" list. The location is perfect, and Nikita has taken the time to ensure every detail is in place so you can relax and unwind. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you!!

Brian and Scott’s place was a gorgeous and peaceful retreat. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. A little tricky getting up to the house but well worth the journey for the beautiful views and garden. Our stay was extremely comfortable and relaxing with great amenities provided to us. I would love to stay here again.

We had a really nice stay. The location was great and we found it private enough that we could have our own space. The pool was really nice and peaceful. Julie and Lachlan included a pamphlet that had great recommendations for the area. It’s very close to all the beaches in Hat Head and only a 20 minute drive away from South West Rocks. As much as we like nature we did feel a bit overwhelmed with the amount of spiders there, as they let themselves in. All household needs were supplied, the furniture and the decorations were really nice. The chalk art fridge was also a nice touch. Overall we had a really great holiday. Thank you Julie and Lachlan :)
