Vacation rentals with breakfast in Darjeeling

the beds are slightly small so if you are taller than 175cm, you should note it. further, there is no paper in toilets, you have to prepare yoursrlf. the others are totally comfy enough.

It was our First visit to Darjeeling, and we should say we never felt we were away from home. Thanks to Amit for providing such a wonderful experience through out our stay. food was really tasty and was served hot. Dining area was providing a great view of the town.

We had a wonderful stay in Badamtam in Rebika ji’s house. It’s a very pretty house, with thoughtfully decorated interiors and spacious balconies having great views of the surrounding mountains and tea gardens. Rebika ji is an amazing host and made us feel right at home from the moment we had checked in. Her home cooked meals were delicious and always served hot and with lots of love ❤️. We also enjoyed bonfire every evening and Rebika ji prepared a lovely barbecue along with the bonfire on new year eve 🥰. Rebika ji’ son Ashu was very helpful and courteous. He showed us around the place and took us to nice view points. It’s pet friendly which was an addendum advantage to us. Overall we had an awesome and fun stay in Rebika ji’s place and would like to visit again. Thanks Rebika ji for your wonderful hospitality and warmth for us!

What made it truly exceptional, however, was the hospitality of our hosts — Mr. Uday Mani Pradhan Da and Ms. Sangeeta. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. Every detail —, from the cozy furnishings to the lovingly prepared vegetarian breakfasts — reflected genuine care and thoughtfulness. The home is tastefully done, with access to a delightful garden and stunning views of the hills and tea estates. Waking up to the sounds of nature and sipping hot Darjeeling tea became a highlight of our day. The personal touches, whether it was the stories they shared, the help with local tips, or simply checking in to ensure we were comfortable, made all the difference. We stayed in a cozy room with a lounge area, spending hours reading books and journaling undisturbed while enjoying Manjit’s masala tea. Kalpanaji, a warm-hearted elderly woman, added a special touch to our stay, infusing everything she did with care and affection. On days we weren’t out exploring, I would sit in the spacious kitchen-cum-dining area, chatting with her as she worked. Our conversations were delightful, and I even picked up a few cooking tips! These moments made my trip more enriching. Truly, it is not just a stay—it is an experience. It is a home first and foremost—a genuine family space—not a commercial stay dressed up to mimic the feel of a home. From a traveler’s perspective, Mungpoo offers excellent accessibility to all the tourist spots one would typically cover from Sittong. However, unlike Sittong, Mungpoo is refreshingly quiet, free from the usual tourist rush, and perfect for those seeking serenity and those who like to explore places associated with Tagore.

I stayed here overnight with my wife at their cozy suite. This is the real deal. Just book without any hesitation. The place and the team will take care of all your needs. Enjoy !!

Had a good stay at Anjalina’s place. Cozy room with a door to the balcony. Mattress, pillow, and quilt were comfy and pillow cover/ sheets were clean. There was a kitchenette which was nice to prepare morning coffee and tea whenever you wanted to. Road leading to the property is nice and two wheeler parking was a blessing. Communication with Anjalina was cool and she also recommended local food places. Will definitely visit again and will recommend to friends and fam. Thanks!

The place is amazing and located on the National Highway with 2 car parking space in front of the property... the host is amazing and provides you delicious dinner at a very much affordable price, the breakfast is inclusive in the booking price which is great.. it feels like another home in the mountains.. Batasia loop is on walking distance and cabs are easily available

Great location, walkable to restaurants but away from the noise and crowds. Khushika was very responsive and helpful with restaurant suggestions and taxi service. Very friendly family! Wonderful breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

SuzAms cafe was simple, cozy, comfortable and had a fabulous view! Susanna was a lovely host, very friendly, and very enjoyable to talk to. She made me feel like a friend right from the start. The Guest House was in a good location out of the craziness of the city but with a short walk up the hill and you are right in amongst everything. The view was unbelievable from the top floor and the cafe. When the mountains are visible, it is simply breathtaking. I felt so blessed to be able to see the Himalayas for two days while we were there. One very special thing I have to mention, the bed was so comfortable and so were the pillows. She had a quilt cover on the bed that was furry on one side and fabric on the other and it felt like I was being hugged by a teddy bear all night. I was warm and snug and I will miss that very much.

The place was good, and the food was nice. It's located about 5 km away from Mall Road. However, the picture showing the river trail is slightly misleading—we initially thought the property was near the river, but that image belongs to another location. Overall, a pleasant stay, but better clarity on the listing would be helpful.

They upgraded the room from a single room to double room free of cost as we were two couples. Great gesture by them
