Cute, cozy, and clean studio overseeing beautiful maadi trees. A TV/ DVD player would be a great addition to play the collection of movies at the place. Mahmoud is a wonderful host.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

Nice place and stunning balcony. The building is nice and the neighbors are quiet. The place wasn’t that clean but the host was very responsive to feedback and he will hire a different cleaning person from now. And he even brought a microwave when I asked! Great full service place. My only tip is that if you are a light sleeper, this place isn’t good for you. There’s a lot of construction outside and it shakes the whole apartment and makes a lot of noise. It’s not in the host’s control and hopefully will be done soon.

A beautiful apartment in the heart of Cairo- homey, clean, and beautifully decorated. Definitely will book again and recommend anyone to book. The assistant at the property was also incredibly helpful.

I’ve been in both apartments and I’ve really like them both for their decoration, comfy space and ambience, the roof has also amazing vibes where you can drink tea with views. The apartments have full amenities and Mr. Nasr and his son Ahmed they are truly attentive and kind hosts. They made me felt like on my own home and family. I would come back for sure😍

Mai is a delightful and welcoming host! She communicated well and made sure to pass by and check on us a couple of days after we’d arrived. She brought us a delicious Egyptian desert!! Her aunt let us in on arrival and was so sweet too. We felt very at home in the apartment and the neighborhood. It’s in a convenient location with cafes, restaurants and everything we needed close by. It’s a perfect base to rest and recharge after a lovely day exploring Cairo. Dina was kind and allowed us to check in at a different time when requested. The place was exactly as described and offered a lot of space to relax and start your day. The kitchen had all amenities including a washing machine. We didn't use the backyard as it was winter time in Egypt but it looked nice. The location is amazing, and we felt very central transport wise but also being able to walk around maadi in one of the nicest areas. All in all will definite stay with Dina again when I visit Egypt!

It is an excellent apartment in one of the best locations in Maadi. The place is so cozy, and you will feel at home. Ahmed is also a great host who is always available and super friendly. Recommended place for you to stay.

Extremely helpful people. Offered help in every aspect of our stay. We were warned that area is not good but it turned that we felt safest in this neighborhood. People shouted welcome to Cairo at every corner. Flat has a few imperfections but you can experience Egyptian culture with decor and carpets... unlike in a big chain hotels. We spent hours watching landscape through the windows. 10 minutes walk to Coptic place where Holy Family stayed (search: Hanging Church). Cross wooden bridge and walk through poor area (totally safe) over railway bridge. Obviously we went to most museums and tourist attractions but highly recommend to visit Vadi Declan Reserve- Desert, Canyon very few people... Views. Second greatest place was Cave churches in Mokattam. Garbage city, very smelly but Christians leave there sorting Cairo rubbish. Life changing experience. Churches on top just wonderful. Our spoiled daughter changed a lot. She gave away £100 Xmas gift to poor people. 🙏 Uber rides very cheap

We spent 2 weeks at this accommodation with two girlfriends, it is well located in a quiet area of Cairo with a supermarket just downstairs, the apartment was very clean, we needed the owners once and they were very responsive. Recommended!

Wahid's 2 bedroom Air Bnb is a nice and homey place to stay. It has its own private garden entrance that gives you some privacy, safety and security. The apartment is also in Maadi, which is a pleasant and much quieter location than the hustling, bustling city of downtown Cairo. Wahid, his close family members, and the apartment gardener, who collectively manage the apartment, are all quite helpful and are quick to repond if you have any questions or need some assistance with anything. They are all most polite and helpful. Wahid is artulate, well mannered, kind, and excellent at speaking English and Arabic as well. I will definitely visit again the next time I am in Egypt.

We were provided with a well-equipped apartment with all the facilities we needed. Mr Ibrahim was very friendly and so helpful in resolving any issues, answering any questions we had, the communication was perfect. With lovely sized room, a nice open reception and a balcony with a great view, there are no complaints to be made. Cleanliness was not an issue as everything was kept tidy and clean, and the beds were comfortable. An extra set of keys were provided upon request and the guard at the front desk was very helpful. The apartment was secure, allowing easy and safe access and leaving any valuables wasn’t an issue. I would like to thank the amazing host Ibrahim for the excellent service provided during our stay.

Our only reason for giving Zacki five stars is because ten stars was not available. This is a beautiful spot in a quiet neighborhood. A large shopping mall with a food court is only a block away, as is Spinney’s which is one of Egypt’s premier grocery markets. We did not experience the water heater outage that some others have described. We found Ahmed, the co-host to be friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive to all of our requests or suggestions.

First we got an envelope and death in Cairo on the day we left the apartment and Saddam was very cooperative at the time of departure and very tasted and served as a brother in a western country Secondly, I left the keys to the apartment on the table and locked the door at the time of departure When Saddam was informed, the reaction was very tasteful. I’m very glad to book Bob’s apartment. It’s cozy and calm. The apartment is located in one of the best streets in Maadi. Very safe you can find many restaurants and cafes. The apartment has a nice Terrace for coffee or meditation. Bob is very responsive, respectful. I’ll be extending my stay at his place
