Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Dallas County

straight forward here, very safe location. big enough for two people. lot of things to do. the drive around town was like 10-20 mins drive, max 30 mins. TV seem small in the picture but in person it was good enough to enjoy a movie. the building was clean and safe with a lock pad at the front door. this is not relative to the apartment. I am visiting Des Moines around November Thanksgiving 2024. The air outside smell from time to time because of the fertilizer the farmer was using. it was bearable

Midwest was fantastic. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. It is a great quiet location near everything and I would recommend staying there or at any of their properties. I know I definitely will and will recommend them to anyone I know who is coming to the area and is looking for a great place to stay.

Easily accessible apartment (first floor), close to Jordan Creek mall in a quiet neighborhood, with responsive hosts that answered our questions in a timely manner.

I would recommend a coffeemaker available to your guests. We ate out but ability to make coffee in the morning would have been nice.

Recommended. Second stay in this complex. Will come again. Very nice. Close to everything. Quiet complex. We’ve stayed 2wice now for 14 days total. Will return. Makes our stays in Des Moines easy and pleasant.

Place was nice and peaceful, definitely recommend for anyone looking for a little getaway.

The ground floor condo was well laid out, spacious, kitchen supplies sufficient to make meals, beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean, smart TV was a plus. I was able to mirror my phone to the TV which was terrific. Neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. A park with trails very close. Parking right out front of unit. Thomas was responsive and helpful. I’d stay again.

Great/convenient location. Place was private and easy to access. The 2.5 bathrooms is very convenient if taking family.

When my husband and I get tickets for shows at the civic center we like to make it an overnight date. In the past we like to stay at nearby hotels so we can park and everything is near by due to convenience. Kyle's place provides all that with an even better price! the place can be a little tricky to find if you don't read the clear instructions included(with photos!) When he suggests unloading, prior to using spiral staircase, he wasn't lying. it is a little steep. We felt safe and the accommodations were plenty. Kyle was very responsive with my pesky sleep deprived questions! We look forward to future stays!

Amazing place to stay, was very clean and had no issues during my stay.

Timothy was incredible responsive and communicated very well. We got to town a little early and he accommodated us for an early check in. The space was absolutely perfect for my girlfriends and I to get ready and go to a wedding down the street at the World Food Prize building.

Karen was one or the nicest airbnb hosts I have met! 😊 She was able to make some accommodations which, made this trip so much easier for me! The place is very central to downtown. The Skywalk made it easy to maneuver during colder weather. The airbnb is very close to a bus stop which made it easy to travel even without a car. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again when I am back in Des Moines! ❤️

Loved the place! Easy in-and-out with clear and simple communication. I couldn’t find the sauna, but I didn’t ask either! haha

Great view of the downtown and river. Loads of places to eat including grocery store nearby. Try the sky walk for getting around!

Liz went out of her way to accommodate us on short notice. She was very thorough and patient for all the confusion we caused. Great place with great accommodations.

We really enjoyed our stay here! With two dogs and a larger group of people, both the size of the house and the yard were perfect. Would recommend!

The house was very comfortable for our family who arrived from various parts of the USA for the Knoxville Nationals. Hot water, comfortable beds, AC, and a kitchen full of everything one needs, including spices and a few condiments was great! We would stay again.

I was very impressed with the professionalism that Allan showed and how nice the house was. It had everything you would need in a kitchen, a couple grills to cook on, many beds to accommodate many people, and was very clean and presentable. I had an excellent stay due to it being so close to Jack Trice stadium and definitely plan on staying again in the future!

I really loved this Airbnb!! I can see why it’s so highly rated. It’s so homey and comfortable, great for groups! Bringing our pups was a huge plus. Most dog friendly Airbnb’s aren’t that great but Jen’s place was perfect and spotless. The neighborhood was very safe and a great place to walk the dogs! We would definitely stay again!

Really recommend this beautiful quiet place. Me and my buddy needed a last minute spot after a concert and she was cool with a late check in. And was very fast and ready to help!! Really recommend this place is quiet, clean and very adorable for its age!

Steven was nice enough to leave the lights on for us. This made it super easy to find our way around the house while carrying in our belongings. The house was spotless, and Steven was quick to respond. We didn't have enough time to enjoy all of the amenities, but Steven has done a great job of setting the place up for a perfect getaway.
