Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Dale Hollow Lake

This place was amazing. We started at one air bnb and felt we needed a change and booked at the last minute and this place was perfect! We even extended one day. We will for sure be booking again!!

We needed a place that would accommodate two wheelchair bound family members. Although not listed as a handicap facility, the entrances were great and we had no trouble getting our family members into the house. We hope to reserve this place again either at Thanksgiving, Christmas or maybe Christmas in July.

Great home! We appreciated our hosts excellent communication and how well they anticipated our needs.

We made good use of the pool table and softball field and we really enjoyed hiking in the area.

The home was so comfortable and so close to Mammoth Caves! The backyard and surrounding area was great for the pup! Jordan was very helpful, responsive and accommodating!

I cannot recommend Peggy's Airbnb listing enough. She was such a hospitable, gracious, and understanding host. The home was beautiful, updated, and felt right at home. Cave City pizza directly across the street made for a lovely dinner and there were plenty of convenient store and grocery options just down the road. There is a Love's truck stop not too far away off exit 58 that my Dad was able to park his semi-truck at overnight to be able to spend some time with us. The fenced front yard was beautiful and the privacy fenced back yard was peaceful and perfect for our fur babies that we brought along for the trip. The shower in the Master bedroom was incredible and all the bedding and furniture was comfortable. If we decide to stay in the area this summer to visit the local caves and attractions, Peggy's home will be at the top of our list!!

Our family of 5 LOVED Katie's home. It was clean, well stocked with essentials, and extremely kid friendly! The basement area is like a paradise for kids with so many games to keep them occupied. The location is quiet, peaceful, and private. It was only a 30-45 minute drive to Mammoth Cave National Park, Bowling Green and other must see stops. Katie was always quick to respond to my questions and gave clear instructions. HIGHLY recommend!

I enjoyed my short stay, close proximity to several boat launches and easy to locate. The place was clean and the helpful recommendations for food and etc was a great addition. Would definitely stay again.

The loft was exactly as described online and very clean. The location is great for restaurants, brewery, shops, and walking. Having a reserved parking spot was a nice bonus. I would definitely stay again.

The place was exactly what we needed while we explored the near by state park tails. It was comfortable and clean and within 20minutes of everything we needed. We will be back again next fall!

I just want to say Anju was the best host. I’ve had some bad experiences the past couple times I’ve used AIRBNB. Told my wife we would give it one more try. Anju made me believe in the service again. I will definitely stay here again.

It was last minute reservation for our anniversary/baby-moon trip. we weren’t really expecting too much but we had such a great/relaxed getaway for the weekend. Also the nicest host ever! The bed was absolutely comfortable, the place was remarkably clean and all the necessary things were stocked. Abby recommended some restaurants which we loved! I highly recommend this airbnb!

We were in town for a wedding in Baxter which is about 20 mins away. However we wanted to enjoy the weekend and experience the cute downtown area of Cookeville. We were very pleased with this rental. The unit had comfortable beds and nice bathrooms and a clean kitchen. It actually had really nice cookware and dishes. However we chose to eat out at a few of the great walkable restaurants close by. The cute shops are also walkable and reasonably priced. We loved this little town and this unit was just perfect for our needs. The only downside is three flights of stairs. So be cautious if that is an issue. The host was very responsive and we were able to check in a few hours early when we arrived. There is ample parking and the area felt safe. Great overall experience and we would highly recommend!!

Woodson Bend is always a great place to be. We love the pool, ability to put your own boat in the water at the resort, the golf and the golf cart community. Debbie’s place is clean, well stocked and as it is shown in the pictures and description.

We've been coming to Woodsen Bend for over 30 yrs and have rent too many unit's to remember. Beth's unit is clearly the most comfortable, and well appointed we have ever rented. She has prepared a home away from home. Amazing from A to Z.

Had a great stay! Stayed for a week on short notice and Tyler was very accommodating. Had everything we needed to be comfortable. A great choice for those looking to visit or a staycation.

I enjoyed my stay and booked another for later. The bed was comfy and I felt like I was in a safe area. I had my own parking space. It was very clean inside. I would recommend!

We have been going to Woodson Bend since I was a kid. We finally outgrew my parents place and needed a place of our own. We had a great stay at this Condo. We have 4 kids and the bunk beds were great, the condo was clean, and they had very detailed instructions.

Wendy was a great host. We frequent Woodson bend and I will be saving her place as an option in the future. Walk to the pool in less than 5 minutes. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything. You will need to purchase ice as the fridge did not make any, not a big deal since you can get a bag at the guard shack for a few bucks. The only thing I will mention is that I believe owner has a dog so if you have allergies, be mindful of this. My wife dealt with allergies during our stay so she avoided the living room and took Benadryl to help. We were gone most of the day at the pool or on the lake. Overall, nice and peaceful, would recommend.

Marshall’s place was perfect for our week visiting family. He went above and beyond to get a cake pan for our use during the holiday. We will definitely be back.
