Farmstay vacation rentals in Dalarna County

Helena's place is great. The location in the little hill Rattsjöberg and views are perfect. In 5-10 minutes you can reach a magnificent swimming lake on foot. Around there are many forests where berries and mushrooms can be searched. When darkening, you can also watch moose in the surrounding forest lights. We were two families with a total of three adults and two teenagers and we had enough space in and around the house. It is a perfect idyll to relax, read books and enjoy nature. The house is very tastefully decorated and very convenient to live in. Cooking in the large kitchen is fun and the kitchen equipment allows extensive cooking. We had a perfect holiday (11 nights) - thank you very much, dear Helena! The only downside of the secluded tranquility is that a 20-30 minute drive is necessary for shopping and restaurants. All in all, Helena's house is highly recommended!

Willem's place was very nice and matches the pictures and description in the listing. Extra plus because the linens were missing and that the host had prepared a fire in the fireplace for arrival. Willem (and his wife) were nice and helpful and went beyond their hosting when they even arranged two bottles of wine for our company. A gold star for the hosts and this home is highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay very much - from arrival to departure. The communication went quick and easily. Barbro was a very nice host, always available and thoughtful. She provided us with lots of helpful tips so that we could really make the most out of our stay. The house is cosy and situated in a beautiful peace of countryside, a place to calm down and relax. We hope we'll be able to visit again some time!

We had a really nice week at the cottage. We had everything we needed, the house was spacious and the surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful. We loved the closeness to the forest.

We had a very nice holiday in Anne's house for two weeks as a family. The house is comfortably furnished and the kitchen is super equipped. We especially enjoyed the peace and proximity of the lake. It was great that we could use Anne's canoe at any time. The surroundings are beautiful with the many lakes and forests, as you imagine in Sweden. Ulrike and Hartmut

Lovely place for a big group with lots of space! Great big garden as well and 15 mins walk to the water. Very clean and fresh kitchens, bathrooms, and saunas. Also, Björn was a very responsive and helpful host!

Such a wonderful place calm and neat. Very responsive host who gave clear instructions to us for directions and check in.. place is really kids friendly!!

Super quaint and cute cabin for a relaxing disconnect from the world. Lots of great hiking spots nearby. Great host! Really enjoyed all our conversations together :)

We had booked 5 days with Sebastian. And we had a very nice and pleasant stay. We love peace and quiet and the Swedish countryside and then you are completely in your place. The cottage is neat and clean. Everything was present. No note. We enjoyed the beautiful spring weather and cozy evenings. Explore the area through the day and take nice walks. We can only recommend this!

We stayed for 2 nights at Marika’s cabin and had a lovely time . The place is maintained well and very clean and checkin was seamless. Marika and her husband gave us recommendations of things to do around the place. A big thank you for the farm fresh eggs and the Easter Candies.. we had a memorable Easter this year at her farm house and will recommend her place to anyone who wishes for a peaceful stay at a farm when visiting Dalarna ..

Very cozy cabin in a nice area!

Good accomodation and welcoming and responsive hosts. 

What a beautiful place! We were received super friendly in a perfect condition cottage that the sheep walked around. We've never felt at home so quickly. Even our daughter felt free to immediately explore the large garden and trampoline. Definitely recommended! Do yourself a favor and book here for a few days. We found our 2 day stay far too short and would have liked to stay longer!

We had a really great time staying at his place. Even got to see some northern lights and we could even stay a few hours after checkout to work.

Extremely cozy typical Swedish furnished stuga with an eye for detail. A lovely cozy and warm wood stove (we were there in winter) that was created for us by the host upon arrival. There were beautiful postcards everywhere with a friendly welcome word and instructions on how, for example, the wood stove works. Very thoughtful. For questions, they were immediately available and very helpful. For example, our car did not want to start in connection with the cold and starter cables were immediately arranged. We were allowed to borrow the scooter sledes to discover the winter wonder landscape. In the summer, it should also be beautiful here. In half an hour drive we did a snowmobile trip and a husky ride. Both a great experience. We greatly enjoyed the whole family and our 2 dogs. Highly recommended!

We had a great week in this lovely house. There is a good mix of Swedish vintage decor mixed with a little new, and very cozy!! The decor makes a huge difference in the stay. The nature around is great and if you have children, they can play around. We recommend this super place and would like to come back myself!
