Our stay at this charming cottage was nothing short of magical. Tucked away in a serene, picturesque setting, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature, enjoying coffee on the stunning porch, and basking in the breathtaking views made each day unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, ensuring every detail was perfect for our stay. This cottage isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to reconnect, relax, and create cherished memories. We spent a month here and felt at home from the moment we arrived. A beautifully remodeled farm home with a picturesque view of the foothills and farmland. Super close to Yaoola Creek park and Dahlonega center, too. And if any issue arose, they responded immediately. Jeana, the property manager, went above and beyond for us. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an escape to the beautiful north Georgia countryside.

Very peaceful stay for 4 adults just before new years. The woodburning stove was helpful for chilly nights, and the hot tub was enjoyed. Murphy and the surrounding areas are wonderful to explore. Would visit again sometime.

We loved the close proximity to Main Street and all the restaurants. The hot tub and spa were a great addition to our stay.

The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays making us feel at home from the start. The home had all the amenities needed and very clean. Laura was a great host providing information on what to do in the area and responses to any questions we had. Had an a time! A wonderful way to start the New Year!

I loved my stay at Ferngully! Everything was as described. Instructions were clear and thorough. I felt right at home. I didn’t utilize all of the amenities, but there was plenty if needed. The hot tub was great which was a major factor in booking. Location was another factor. I enjoyed an amazing sunset from Bell Mountain, which is not far. I also rode over to Alpine Helen.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay here! Dahlonega is only about an hour away from home for us, but we love the little town. We didn’t want to travel too far for just a weekend, so we picked somewhere close to home, but still enough distance to get away. From the ease of booking, to the communication from the host, to the directions, to our arrival and pictures doing the place just, and so much more. It was clean. It’s kid friendly which is what sold us as a family of 6 with our youngest being 3. The older kids loved the hot tub, while our 3 year old loved the toys and the playground. All of us loved the yard and open area. We enjoyed making s’mores by the fire at the beautifully lightened outdoor patio. There is a home next door, but it still felt very private. We so enjoyed our stay for my 30th birthday celebration. The kids want to come back! We would highly recommend to anyone and everyone! Thank you Michael and Sydney for an incredible experience!

What an oasis Callie has created! So glad we chose The Schoolhouse for our weekend get-away. This beautifully decorated home was so cozy, a true comfort from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We felt at home in the beautiful Georgia countryside. Could go back time and time again. Callie’s attention to detail has preserved its history and tells a story in every room.

this little gem is beautiful and if you want to feel disconnected and just enjoy nature this is the pot to be. The koi fish are beautiful, watching deer walka around the property is so peaceful, we had a great time here. Helen, GA is only 20 min away and you enjoy all the amenities they have. however, if you want to stay in the you'll be fine too. the place is fully stocked with all the amenities you need to cook a meal or you go outside and enjoy the fire pit. this place is definitely one of our favorites, will definitely go back. the host is very responsive and communication is awesome. I will definitely recommend this place.

This is the best location! Right in the center of Clarksville. Easy walk to all the little shops. Great place to stay while in N. Georgia.

Second time staying at the property and my dog loves it! The yard is great and the cabin super cozy with all the amenities you need for yourself and your furry friend.

This home is in a gorgeous location right on the lake. There is opportunity to hang out outside or inside, depending upon weather. It was in the 30’s and rainy when we were there, the home was very cozy. It was too wet for the fire pit. The dock would be great for spring and summer hangouts. We fished by the lakeside on the last afternoon when the sun came out. Saw a couple of deer every evening and morning. Lots of restaurants, shopping, grocery nearby. The beds were comfy, linens clean, house was clean, heater worked. I would stay here again.

We loved the cabin and would stay there again if we come back to the area. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin is about a 10 minute drive to Helen. There are several wineries nearby and lots of places to hike.

Judith’s place was very nice. Quiet peaceful lake front home and just 10 minutes to downtown Cleveland. Would recommend and would stay again.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!! Beautiful, scenic, quiet, it’s a home in the mountains and away from the city where you can just reset yourself. Just the drive alone was so beautiful. My Fiancé and I loved it. My dogs loved it. Sitting on the beautiful porch drinking coffee and listening to nature while surrounded by mountains is beautiful. Inside the cabin, you immediately feel like you’re home. From the soft beds, couches, the kitchen, bathroom, but my favorite was the backyard. It’s so beautiful, gated, and quiet. To see my fiancé and our dogs running around and playing and just happy in this atmosphere was as if I was in heaven. Traveling and visiting the towns was amazing and you must visit Helen Georgia. But what made this trip unforgettable was the hospitality of the host Tania and Mark. The amazing hospitality, helping after getting locked out the cabin twice which was my fault, checking in on us, so flexible with us. We felt like family. Luv you guys. We will be back. Huge Hugs

The air bnb had a cozy feel perfect for a short stay.

The cottage was great, it was very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The alpacas grazing on the property was a bonus. The location is close to hikes, several wineries, etc. Tina and Jay were gracious hosts. We had a lovely time!!

This Airbnb was a cozy and quiet cottage surrounded by trees, and song birds. There were other small cottages on the property but our place felt private. We enjoyed watching the chickens roaming around and the neighbors’ horses were beautiful to watch as well. This place is a 40 minute curvy mountainous drive to the “German” themed town of Helen and about a 15 minute drive to the town of Blairsville. Also about a 30 minute drive to short hiking trails and waterfalls. The owners provided a very helpful information book containing menus from nearby restaurants and other things to do. The cottage has a queen bed, loveseat, recliner chair, tv, dining table for 2, and a small kitchenette.

Location was private and beautiful! Kitchen well equipped with very nice cookware. Beds are comfortable. Two levels with entrance doors on both levels. Lots of parking space on two levels. Nice big deck with lots of seating. Will definitely stay here again.

We spend a few days after Christmas and the place was clean and quiet to relax , we definitely stay here again .

Just everything at Don's place was remarkable, from the friendly greeting by the Co-host, Shelia, the ease of check-in after a tiring trip from Florida, the spotless cottage, the beautiful and comfortable furniture and the gift basket of goodies, including wine, cheese, cheesecake, fruit, crackers, and stocked refrigerator full of special treats like steak sauces, barbeque sauce, catsup and mustard packets, jellies, pizza, Texas toast, and breakfast sandwiches. You will also enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood only interrupted occasionally by the call of the rooster down the street. And the incredible pasture behind the cottage, the firepit, the back porch - just an absolutely amazing place and perfect getaway, a home away from home in the mountains. It doesn't get better than this. And our two chihuahuas agree. They loved their walks around the cottage on the grassy grounds and being back inside the warm cottage, watching TV with us.

We had a great time in the riverside cottage. The cottage was clean, the beds were comfortable, the fireplace made cool evening cozy and the kitchen was nice. We loved sitting in the sunroom listening to the water.
