Půvabný penzion Alt Straninger se nachází v historickém centru Českého Krumlova, jen přes ulici od muzea Egon Schiele Art Centrum. Budova byla poprvé zmíněna v roce 1370 a okolo roku 1660 ji pak dal její majitel, krumlovský radní Straninger, přestavět v barokním slohu.
