Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cyncoed

Large house in a great location. Outdoor space is much better than it looks in photos. Plenty of cafes/bars/restaurants on doorstep. A few mins walk to train station. Good independent shops. Perfect for long weekend if attending a Cardiff event like a concert. Only things to mention are the outdoor space is on several levels with hard patios so need to keep an eye on any kids. House is still a family home so full of belongings. Still plenty of space though.

A beautiful property in a lovely location with great views and amazing hosts and facilities. Everything had been thought of to make our stay as comfortable as possible, thank you it was really appreciated. Some great restaurant recommendations by Annie enhanced our visit further and with only a short drive to Weston-Super-Mare we found it very handy. Highly recommended.

This place really defied expectations. Really lovely spot, super clean, really friendly. If your thinking about this one… don’t think and just do! It was an amazing experience. 11/10!!!

Excellent weekend. Sian was very helpful and friendly. Great location for city centre and rugby stadium. Very nice local shops with places to eat. House great and accommodated two families, Sian left lots of treats to eat & drink which were much appreciated. Diolch.

Had a great stay at Manon’s place. Manon is helpful and always responsive. Free parking space at 4 min walk around the corner, which could get full during weekend. Walking distance to the central city area, 15-20min walk. Nice and cosy place overall with complete kitchen utensils.

What a lovely little country retreat, peaceful and restful yet with plenty to do on your doorstep. The walk to the country pub, through the village was a highlight. The kids loved the horses, rope swing and of course jacuzzi. We will definitely stay again.

Great stay ! Big house with all amenities. We didn't have to call Brain, because everything was well marked, signed, but we saw him, he is a very nice gentleman, and in case of problems he would definitely help. Outside a bit cluttered, a bit of cobwebs, kitchen cabinets a bit broken. jacuzzi nice, big plus that under the roof, a bit of a strange smell of water, but nice relaxation after walks. Good location, very close to interesting places. I think we will come back with a bigger group.

Very homely welcoming feel. Well stocked fridge and generous breakfast provisions. Very pet friendly and accommodating of our dogs. Spotless and clean and well kept and home from home vibe. Charming decor. Hosts couldn't be more generous and considerate. Ivan and Jaine were so helpful friendly and welcoming. So quick to respond to anything extra we needed. We had such a great new year with our family living in the area which was made even better by this brilliant Airbnb. Thank you

We had a great night’s stay at Dafydd’s fab house. Right in the middle of Cardiff and very convenient for our theatre trip. Easy parking for two cars on the drive. All the bedrooms were tidy and comfortable, plus two big and clean bathrooms. Dog friendly too. Great communication from Dafydd from the moment we booked until the moment we left. Thanks for having us!

A beautiful arts and crafts house. Plenty of room for the whole family although, unfortunately, only 5 out of our party of 8 made it due to storm Darragh. The house was warm and cosy and we felt safe during gale force winds. We didn’t need a car - two rail stations eight minutes walk away. Very easy to get into city centre Jacky was very helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The Luxury Coastal Retreat is a truly beautiful house - a stylishly decorated, tastefully furnished, super comfortable home from home. The kitchen is so very well equipped for cooking and eating in and ideally located for walks to the pier, seafront and shops. The living and bedrooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms are beautiful , additionally the body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash provided are way above hotel standard. The refurbishment of this beautiful house has been undertaken so carefully , the art work is interesting and the book shelves are stocked with a great variety of books for all ages . The hosts reply quickly and are eager to help and ensure everything goes well . Highly recommended

Emma was a great host , nothing was too much trouble for her and she left us some very thoughtful treats! Lovely comfortable house with great parking and a little park opposite the house perfect for dog walking. It’s an easy walk from the house into central Cardiff. Thank you Emma!

We were visiting for a rather sad reason and Robert was kind and compassionate and happy to be flexible re check in which was a huge help. The flat is clean and comfortable with everything you need. Spice Ambassador a good local food option as is the Taffs Well inn - the Monday fish and chip deal there was excellent. We also didn’t really hear the trains from the bedroom. Thanks!

Couldn’t rate the hosts high enough , very accommodating of my late arrival , very responsive , the accommodation was worth every penny , and the shower was on a whole other level (made all the difference after a day at BPW!) , definitely one to stay at again .

Incredible views in every direction, beautiful autumn colours! Secluded and peaceful at the top of the mountain behind Pontypool but 5 mins away from amenities if needed. House was warm and comfortable. Lovely comfy beds and bedding. Dog friendly with plenty of walks on the doorstep. Agneta was friendly and on hand to welcome us. Helpful leaflet collection in lobby! A great base to explore the southern National Park. Thank you for a memorable stay.

the apartment was absolutely spotless and clean(except for some odor lingering in bathroom). Great location, quite central. Great amenities. comfy bed and great living room space. Everything was perfect. The Host was very helpful and was very accommodating and proactive. The instructions to get access to apartment flat was clear. It was helpful to have the parking. We struggled to find the building as it was dark and the entrance was tucked in. The address location took us to John Lewis and the picture of front face of building in step by step guide wasn't helpful. I found the name of apartment and put that on maps. It was then easy to drive to the location since then. on our 3 day we struggled with TV entertainment as the internet signal kept dropping off and getting connected to terrestrial local channels were difficult. But this was only for that evening. we enjoyed our stay thoroughly will definitely come again

Janine is a great host and my colleague has had a good stay here. Her home is cosy, welcoming and a home from home whilst we are working in central Cardiff. I would definitley recommend her as a host, she is proactive and helpful.

This was our second visit and we stayed in Pine tree . We had a lovely relaxing stay and thoroughly enjoyed it . We had the pleasure of meeting Rita and thought she was a lovely friendly lady . Pine Tree had everything we needed for our 4 night staycation . We will definitely return again .

Came to Cardiff for a concert at the Principality Stadium. The flat was in the perfect location - easy to walk into Cardiff centre yet very quiet area. Mike was an exceptional host - so welcoming and friendly and lovely touches such as a couple of beers after our very long drive. This flat was a great find!

Perfect venue for a weekend with a friend .Easily accessible and felt safe. Short train ride into town. Very clean, tasteful and fully equipped. Mary gave a warn welcome and provided helpful instructions.

We had a weekend stay at Steven and seki’s apartment and it was exactly what we needed. They were super friendly and really helpful. The apartment itself Is clean and decorated nicely and it felt like a home from home. The little extras made sure we felt comfortable and it was an incredibly lovely stay. We would definitely stay again as it’s a great central location close to lots of shops. Thank you so much guys!

A lovely spacious house within easy walking distance of downtown. Sam was very responsive, helping find restaurants almost immediately. Inside the house is bigger than you first expect and the bedrooms are all large. It is a super comfortable house with a well stocked kitchen - a good place to relax after being out all day. At first you think there isn’t much parking but there is plenty around the house on the street. Would recommend this house as a good base of operations to anyone wanting to discover downtown Cardiff
