Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cyncoed

Large house in a great location. Outdoor space is much better than it looks in photos. Plenty of cafes/bars/restaurants on doorstep. A few mins walk to train station. Good independent shops. Perfect for long weekend if attending a Cardiff event like a concert. Only things to mention are the outdoor space is on several levels with hard patios so need to keep an eye on any kids. House is still a family home so full of belongings. Still plenty of space though.

This place really defied expectations. Really lovely spot, super clean, really friendly. If your thinking about this one… don’t think and just do! It was an amazing experience. 11/10!!!

Excellent weekend. Sian was very helpful and friendly. Great location for city centre and rugby stadium. Very nice local shops with places to eat. House great and accommodated two families, Sian left lots of treats to eat & drink which were much appreciated. Diolch.

Great place for 2 couples or a family. 1 pub within walking distance 1.5 miles. well equipped kitchen and lots of board games etc. Pizza oven is only really a summer option. Hot tub available and a good temperature.

What a lovely little country retreat, peaceful and restful yet with plenty to do on your doorstep. The walk to the country pub, through the village was a highlight. The kids loved the horses, rope swing and of course jacuzzi. We will definitely stay again.

This place is spotless and super clean! It’s well-maintained and has everything you need. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and the facilities are great. It’s definitely worth the money we paid. Brain, who visited us, gave us some great recommendations for nearby places to explore. He was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it! I’m already looking forward to visiting again during the summer.

We had a great night’s stay at Dafydd’s fab house. Right in the middle of Cardiff and very convenient for our theatre trip. Easy parking for two cars on the drive. All the bedrooms were tidy and comfortable, plus two big and clean bathrooms. Dog friendly too. Great communication from Dafydd from the moment we booked until the moment we left. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful location, lovely and cosy. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tessa's place. We had some thick snow and it made the inside of the cabin feel even more like a cosy getaway. Tessa was super responsive and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend!

A beautiful home in a beautiful surrounding. Very private yet close to amenities and within easy reach of the city centre. Spotlessly clean, excellently equipped, and very pleasant.

unfortunately I had to cancel my weekend booking here with Stephen and Sandy due to the unforeseen weather snd not wanting to risk being stranded in the Brecon beacons with the kids. After initially still trying to make the booking we admitted defeat and went with the safest option Stephen suggested that we could cancel the booking and return the money to my bank account which was very kind of him. very responsive and friendly hosts with plenty of information and instructions about the property! Thanks!

We were visiting for a rather sad reason and Robert was kind and compassionate and happy to be flexible re check in which was a huge help. The flat is clean and comfortable with everything you need. Spice Ambassador a good local food option as is the Taffs Well inn - the Monday fish and chip deal there was excellent. We also didn’t really hear the trains from the bedroom. Thanks!

I have stayed at the beautiful Myrtle cottage for the past few weeks while on a working trip. The cottage is spacious but at the same time very cosy. The decor is very tasteful and everything is immaculately clean and has everything you could possibly need for a short break. You could not ask for a better situated home, you are but a few minutes from the Mcarther Glenn outlet shops and the M4 but at same time it does feel like your in the country side! (watch out for the sheep!) I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend the cottage to anyone visiting the area. Amy was very responsive to any concerns we might have had and always got back to us promptly. Many thanks again to Amy for a stress free stay and look forward to visiting again should the need arise.

Very homely welcoming feel. Well stocked fridge and generous breakfast provisions. Very pet friendly and accommodating of our dogs. Spotless and clean and well kept and home from home vibe. Charming decor. Hosts couldn't be more generous and considerate. Ivan and Jaine were so helpful friendly and welcoming. So quick to respond to anything extra we needed. We had such a great new year with our family living in the area which was made even better by this brilliant Airbnb. Thank you

Ros communicated with us straight awat with a very thourough description of how to get to her place. She included bus details, which was very helpful although we didn't need to make use of it. Very kindly and generously there were some breakfast items available as were milk, butter, coffee and tea. It was a delightful complete apartment with its own lovely little garden, we had a great time!

Mary was super welcoming and it was the perfect place to stay to visit our son at university. Very close to the train station which made getting into the city centre very easy.

Emma was a great host , nothing was too much trouble for her and she left us some very thoughtful treats! Lovely comfortable house with great parking and a little park opposite the house perfect for dog walking. It’s an easy walk from the house into central Cardiff. Thank you Emma!
