This view moved me to tears—it was absolutely breathtaking and everything we had hoped for when we decided to visit Westcliffe. The stars were mesmerizing. I highly recommend timing your stargazing for when the moon is less prominent; around 4 a.m. in early April, the night sky truly comes alive, revealing that magical “galactic dust” effect you often see in promotional images of the area. The town itself is charming, with incredibly welcoming locals who shared wonderful stories. Everything is conveniently close—there's even a bowling alley within walking distance of the house. For a memorable day trip, the Royal Gorge is a must-see, especially if you're en route to Colorado Springs. We picked up some fantastic steaks from the local butcher for dinner, and the cozy fireplace made the snowfall outside feel like a scene from a movie. The only thing we missed was a grill, but aside from that, the house was exceptional.

Better than advertised! Couldn’t have chosen a better place for a quick relaxing spiritual getaway. Very private and amazing place. From the reclining chairs near the creek, to the decor inside the property. All the details were present and significant. 100000/10. Recommend to anyone looking for a private and relaxing getaway. I had such a peaceful stay. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. It was comfortable and welcoming. I’d definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful time at staying at Liz's home! The house is beautiful with all of the essentials that one would need in a relatively remote location. We hope to visit Crestone again, and would definitely stay at her home again.

Stay was lovely. Very peaceful location. Neighbors were a little closer than expected— dogs/ dirt bikes did disturb the peace a tad. Overall a great stay and great host.

We had a great stay here! We were traveling to visit the sand dunes and kept saying how the Airbnb was an adventure within our adventure. There were so many unique and fun things to do at the Airbnb we never felt the need to have to travel out to find something to do. Sitting in the hot tub at night looking at the stars after sandboading all day was the highlight of our trip! Dan is really responsive all around and really helped us out the morning of the checkout when our car wouldn’t start. He had a local contact come to the house to jump us and we were on our way. The stay was great overall but had a few minor issues - the beds are really hard which isn’t the best when your body is sore from the dunes. -The listing photos show a shed full of sand boards, we paid $75 to get access to the shed only to find that there were only 4 total and only 1 of the kind we wanted so that was frustrating. Despite these small issues we do plan on returning sooner rather than later!
