Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Curaçao

Love this resort! They now have live music four times a week along with 4 different restaurants if you choose not to use the kitchen to cook. The resort has shuttle buses to the beach and to a nearby grocery store. The kids were in the pool almost daily. We had a great time.

The place was really nice, with a great view. Lots of space, beautiful balcony. We liked the pool after a long, hot day. A nice walk to the beach. Not Frank's fault, but too bad about the fireworks all night!

Brand new home. Really nice bed, good shower in a big bathroom, televisions with YouTube and Netflix, silent airco. Ingemar was always available when we had questions and is very friendly. House is a bit hard to find with Google maps, but its across nr 54 on Google maps.

We have been visiting Curacao in the January/February period for over ten years. Usually we 'd stay in the Jan Thiel area. Last time when we were in Curacao we noticed the new building, in which the appartment is located, right in the center of Willemstad. Being curious, and also a little bit fed up with the traffic at Jan Thiel, we booked at Jacqueline's place. You have a great view from the balcony, which is spacious and well equipped with comfortable dining table and chairs, lounge seats and sun bed. The rest of the amenities re also up to high standard, from the kitchen to the bedrooms. Being in the middle of Willemstad you have acces to many restaurants by feet. Sometimes the noise or ships docking can be a little bit disturbing, but never much. One thing to note, but as advertised is the pool, nothing special and not much sun around the pool.

This place is awesome for the price. Adriana was an excellent host & always available to answer any question I had. She gave great suggestions for things to do & always sent links and addresses. Tho the unit is connected to her home we had great privacy. We never seen anyone from her home unless we called her with a request needing something then she'd come assist. The beds are very cozy, the ac in the rooms blows ice cold, & the kitchen was great for cooking as I cooked daily. We did not go over our electric that was supplied per day so the amount given is plentiful. I went on this trip for my birthday and was so surprised to return home to beautiful b-day balloons, decor, & flowers on my b-day. That was the sweetest! The pool is so pretty & peaceful. Only thing I'd suggest is adding some pool chairs so guests can lay out relax by the pool & tan. Had we had pool chairs we would have napped by the pool a lot vs the beach. Beautiful ground floor apartment with all the amenities you need for a great vacation. Was very clean and modern. We enjoyed staying there. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend! Wonderful condo within a beautiful resort (Blue Bay)...within the resort, access to their beach which is a large cove with minimal waves, nice sand/shallow water for kids/wading, and snorkeling + diving; additionally a beach bar, beach restaurant (great food), and a higher end restaurant for dinner. Golf too if you're interested. Condo itself has privacy and access to a shared pool that was never busy; easy parking. Easy to drive to local grocery stores (Carrefour is great), and within 30 minutes, many wonderful beaches. We'd love to stay here again! One note for Americans not familiar with European-style rentals: bring shampoo/conditioner and shower soap. (or buy at Carrefour)

Thuishaven is the oasis you are looking for in Curacao. Located in between Willemstad city center and the beautiful Westpunt beaches, Martjin has created a beautiful private retreat. Spend the day sightseeing or at the beach then return home to a refreshing dip in the Thuishaven pool or a nap as you listen to the breeze pass through the beautiful garden. Martjin and Johannes were responsive and helpful - when we needed a hair dryer or a question about local restaurants. You have everything you need in a kitchen, and groceries are down the road a couple miles. We loved our stay, we can’t wait to come back.

I absolutely loved my stay. The location was fantastic. It's about a 15 minute drive to Downtown, there's a supermarket about 5 minutes away, just overall great location. The apartment was just how Xavier described it and very beautiful. Xavier is quick with communication, getting back to me in a timely manner and even recommended an amazing car rental. I 100% recommend staying here and will definitely stay again.

What a great stay, close to Jan Thiel beach. The pool was very close, which was used a lot. We did have 1 minus, that was the laundry rack ... what a drama thing . Couldn't be moved, and then fell apart . Maybe a new one, which is so top😉 and the dishwasher didn't want to open all the way, so cleaning up wasn't really convenient, that would be fixed. I fell in love with the view from the balcony and spent most of my time there. Xavier was very helpful in resolving any small issues that we had. This location is within a 10 minute drive to downtown and all the amenities.

Very comfortable and complete apartment with everything you need for your stay, we feel at home. All clean and very new. Stove and all the utensils necessary for cooking, as well as rice pot and electric kettle. Laundry. Large bathroom and hot water shower, which is rare in Curacao. Electricity included in the stay without worrying about recharging, but use with savings. Quiet and powerful air conditioning in the bedroom and living room. Garage entrance with remote control that was delivered to us at the checkin. It is extremely necessary to rent a car to know the island well, but close to the apartment, there are some restaurants and supermarket accessible to the foot that Mariela has also shown us. He was very friendly and proactive to me and my wife, showed us the whole apartment at the checkin and sent messages to make sure doubts and offer help throughout the stay. If you are looking for peace and autonomy in Curacao, this place is the perfect choice.

I am a return guest that visits Curacao often on business and always try to stay with Mariela. She and her husband are wonderful host and treat guest like family. So if her place is available, I highly recommend you book it as quickly as possible. You will be disappointed if you don't.

Everything was great!

Villa Gran Vista is perfectly setup for a relaxing vacation in the islands. The view from all the rooms is wonderful and especially great from the kitchen, living room and pool deck. The villa is a reasonable drive from everything you would want to do on the island (airport, beaches, grocery stores and city) , but the villa is so comfortable that you may not want to leave. Having the restaurants in the neighborhood is also a plus. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds with 3 having attached bathrooms. The property also has interesting features including 3 extra sitting areas, 2 of which are covered. The house had everything we needed and the property management communicated with us throughout the week. I highly recommend Villa Gran Vista!

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and we were able to access Mambo Beach and Jan Theil Beach in less than 15 minutes. The host and co-host( Mireille) were very responsive and friendly. Overall, great experience and great value.

Had a great extended family vacation in Curacao. The house was gorgeous, the pool inviting and the ocean view from the roof truly stunning. It is well set up with many places to curl up with a book or talk in small groups. Indie is a wonderful cook and the dinner opportunity should not be passed up. The house is just a short walk to Jan Thiel beach and there is no shortage of interesting adventures within a short drive.

Our first trip to Curacao together with our 3 daughters. Vincent's Villa was nicely situated with beautiful views of the golf course, where flamingos and pelicans can be seen. The beautiful beach of Blue Bay was less than a 5-minute walk through the lovely villa park. We were well received via host Mary and lacked nothing. Highly recommended, we'd love to come back.
