Vacation rentals in Cumberland

Our guests really enjoyed the very clean brand new house, they commented on how wonderful the water pressure was, the showers were terrific!!! A special thank you to Al Mickler. He went beyond expectations taking care of our guests. Thank you, thank you!!!! Also we want to thank the new owners of "Buncombe Creek Marina" who have greatly improved and expanded the Marina who I know have great plans for it, for years to come. Their investment is greatly appreciated, The community has never looked so good!!! Again....thank you.

I really enjoyed my stay it was easy to get to and it was like a home away home. She responded quickly when I reached out. Great place will definitely be going back.

If people complain about spiders, they’ve obviously never been out in the woods or near the woods. The place was great. We even got visited by a sweet gray kitty while we were there (he was outside on the front porch). Only spiders were outside garden spiders. The ONLY thing we would change is the lack of curtains or blinds in all the rooms outside the bedrooms. That’s no blinds in the living room so the neighbor building across the street just sat there sometimes staring in our direction which made my teenaged daughters feel uneasy. Feels odd at night watching a movie and wondering if perhaps you’ve stepped into an inadvertent movie yourself. As far as the home itself - it is exactly as described and had a very homely feel to it. The lake is a 8 minute walk or 1 minute drive away. It was a great place and yes, we would stay there again. We would just bring huge towels to cover the front windows. Also, the host is super responsive and very nice as well!

Awesome place that was comfortable with everything needed for a large group of people. Also, it’s a great location being so close to the lake and nearby town.

Great location for a fishing trip with some friends!

The house is beautiful and our teenagers were entertained with the play room. There was enough room for everyone and the owner was very helpful with all our questions and quick replies. Thank you!!

Tresa was super responsive, very lenient and kind. The decor was very cute and homey. LOTS of places to sit. The shampoo, conditioner, and bar of soap was a nice touch. Very well stocked with kitchenware and the 3 porch areas were very lovely.

Molly is a super host. The description of the property was spot on. Anything you’d need at home was right there for your convenience. The indoor areas were great from the stocked kitchen, games, tv or relaxing. The outdoor area were amazing!! The porch had a variety of comfy seating, with the location tucked back in the woods with trails, two fire pit areas and hammocks. This was a great find!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this place. I really appreciate the snacks that were provided and Kim was very effective at communicating with me, she responded in a timely manner. Much appreciated. Highly recommend
