Angela is a wonderful host! This place was spotlessly clean and the location let us walk to everything. Great host, great place, great location!

This was such an incredible stay. We loved the farm and so did our dogs. They spent a long weekend off leash romping around with Luke’s very sweet dog and admiring his stunning Percheron and thoroughbred. My husband and I agreed, petting horses is good for the soul. His log cabin was disassembled, re located, and re built by him. He’s adorned it with a selection of antiques and reclaimed pieces that are truly enchanting and create such a fabulously unique atmosphere that was truly one of a kind. Prior to our stay I had read the reviews mentioning he had antiques and asked about local stores. Not only did he make recommendations, he stopped in 3 locations and got cards for us from each and let them know we may stop by prior to our arrival. We are already looking at dates for our next stay. This place is truly a slice of heaven on earth and an ode to unique and wonderful things that have existed in the world long before we existed and a display of creativity and craftsmanship. We had a wonderful stay at the house. The kids absolutely loved fishing the lake from the shore and using the jon boat and had a lot of success the first 2 (warmer) days. Brad was so kind to stop by and help them get the boat set up and give pointers on fishing. We also enjoyed exploring some of the property on foot and in our vehicles. The house is rustic but very comfortable and had everything we needed. We all loved sitting by the fireplace to warm up in the evening. My kids are already asking if we can go again next year for Thanksgiving 😊

What an AMAZING location!! Tucked way back in the woods and completely private, not a soul in sight!! The house sits in a hill overlooking the river and the photos didn’t do it justice. The house has been redone and it looks newer than what the pictures show!! Super clean and everything we needed for our one stay was there. Unfortunately it was super windy so we didn’t fully get to appreciate the outdoors but would love to visit again when it is warmer. Brian is an amazing host, super flexible and super responsive!! If you want to get away from it all, be in super secluded spot with no one around for as far as you can see, this is your spot!!

We were snowed in during a winter storm. the host went above and beyond to have driveway cleared to ensure we could still make it to work.

The cabin was perfect for a solo writing retreat. It was very comfy, and regular walks to the High Bridge Trail helped keep up the inspiration. Wilmer's path that lead to the trail was clutch, as I didn't have to leave the property to access miles and miles of walking (or biking, if there had been no snow).

We had a fantastic stay at John and Ericka’s Airbnb! They were excellent hosts—super responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for our work trip—clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Everything was as described, and the attention to detail made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We stayed here for a quick overnight but I truly wish we stayed longer! We arrived after dark so the clear check in instructions were very helpful and we were pleasantly surprised to wake up to such serene surroundings. As soon as you walk out the door you are greeted by the sweetest ensemble of pets. The guesthouse is well stocked, very cozy and felt both private and inviting. There are a few activities in the area as well as on the farm. Dale is very kind, hospitable and such an inspiration for us! Will definitely recommend and return!
