Vacation rentals with lake access in Cumberland County

We Really appreciated the nice rear deck and the fact that it was wheel chair accessible for our dad! We were able to enjoy quality time with him having lunch outdoors on a beautiful sunny day!

Abroad Thanksgiving should have been challenging, but Matt made it easy for our family to get together, cook a FULL Thanksgiving meal, and have plenty of room to enjoy every moment. We had a great family stay for my husband’s birthday. The home is beautiful and has everything you need. The view is stunning and the hosts always answered promptly and were very accommodating. We would love to visit again someday!

Can’t say enough good things about this Airbnb. Elizabeth made it very easy from the booking process to check in. We had plenty of room for a group of 8 on our golf trip. Being minutes from places like Heatherhurst, Stonehenge and Druid Hills made this stay easy and relaxing. Thank you Elizabeth!

We only stayed one night on our way to North Carolina, but wish we could stay longer! We felt right at home at Wendy and Ed’s whimsical and cozy “home” away from home, as well as our happy dog, who gets to run through the woods and to the lake. The cabin has everything one needs whether traveling through or staying for longer vacation. It’s private, yet very close to town and surrounding areas. We took Ed’s suggestion and drove down to Muddy Pond General Store. The scenery was beautiful and the sunset was amazing! This is among one of the cleanest AirBnBs we’ve ever stayed and I’m amazed how they can do it with so many thoughtful necessities installed and placed through out this little cabin. We enjoyed meeting Wendy and their puppy on our way out. Her generous spirit made a long lasting impression. Thank you! We hope to come back and stay longer next time!

Elizabeth's house hosted 12 adults and 3 kids with no problem. Everyone could sleep comfortably and there was plenty of space to relax. We were especially pleased with the amenities provided, from extra toothbrushes to life vests. Any questions we had were answered promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

Well, where to begin? Angela is an amazing host for starters with great communication skills. Her home is more than what was expected. If the pictures don’t get you the actual home will have you wishing that you could stay for longer. You will have EVERYTHING that you need for a remarkable unforgettable time. Thoughtful furniture placement and “small” touches throughout the home, made our time relaxing even though the purpose of our visit was chaotic. We were there looking at land, so having a” home “ to unwind in was priceless. Morning coffee on the porch overlooking the lake, campfires in the cool of the evening, tournaments on the pool table, cooking meals for the Sabbath, knitting, kite flying with the kiddos, biscuits with homemade preserves (a gift from the host), naps on comfortable beds after long days out and about are only some of the enjoyable moments we experienced. I look forward to returning when in the area and we are very thankful to Angela for sharing her amazing home!

My husband and I had a delightful stay in this charming and cozy cabin. The evening views from the dock were absolutely stunning, and we made the most of several nights around the fire pit. The cabin was immaculately clean and felt very welcoming. We had a great night's sleep on the comfortable bed and appreciated the well-stocked amenities, including movies, books, games, kitchen and bathroom provisions and even firestarter cubes. It was a perfect retreat to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy some tranquility. We look forward to returning someday!
