Vacation rentals in Crooked Creek

Had a great stay, everything I needed. Will stay there again, Harry is a great host.

So we were here when Hurricane Helene hit. We had no idea the storm would be as bad as it was. Luckily, because we were so high up, there was minimal damage to the property. We lost power, but Susie has a generator so we were never without power or water. There was also some food stocked in the pantry (rice, oatmeal, peanut butter, crackers) and a lot of good kitchen tools. We ended up being trapped on the mountain for 2 days. Luckily, we had everything we needed and we met a ton of neighbors that were helping us out (food and info). Such a great community. We had a baby with us and we needed formula and the neighborhood did everything they could do to make sure we got it (special shoutout to the Travers and Mike Z.). Susie was also VERY responsive and proactive trying to get information to us. On the brighter side, the house/property is BEAUTIFUL. Although it's in a neighborhood, it feels very private and secluded because of the lot location. Wonderful views. Would stay again!

This was by far our favorite place we’ve stayed in Brevard. We loved walking our dog by the creek and along the trails in the back yard. Sitting on the large deck listening to the birds and watching deer cross our path. It was the most well equipped home we’ve ever stayed in and super close to everything. We will absolutely return. The Best!

We love staying at this property! Layout is nice and open, there’s every thing a home would have, it’s warm and inviting, greats hosts, we see lots of wildlife and it’s quiet. It’s our second stay and definitely not our last!

Marisa’s house is a beautiful cabin that was worth every penny. It is convenient to Brevard and the Pisgah Forest for the fishing and outdoor enthusiast. Marisa was very accommodating to my group and was prompt to responding to messages. The house was clean and lacked no amenities. The kitchen was well furnished with pots, pans, etc. and linens were plentiful. I would recommend Marisa’s place for anyone hoping to get away and stay in a beautiful part of North Carolina.

Ann was an exceptional host! She was helpful with any questions I had and her place was perfect for us to spread out and comfy for lounging around! I would definitely recommend her place and come back!!

Perfect house for a family gathering, large enough but cozy due to being very well laid out. We were 6 adults, 1 child, and 2 dogs, enough space for all with plenty of bathrooms. All the little touches such as all electrical switches & silverware trays clearly labeled, top notch towels & bed linens, beds made, well stocked kitchen, children & pets accomodated, made us feel like VIPs. The cabin is clean & well maintained, easily accessed with sufficient & easy parking, close to Brevard, DuPont State Recreational Forest, etc., but away from the hustle & bustle. Great mountain views. Sandy is very responsive & friendly. We can't wait to go back!

Our extended family of 13 had a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful stay! The pictures don't do the house/cabin and surrounding property justice. The rope swing, swing, and tire swing were a huge hit with the kids - they were addicted to the rope swing! (Even the teens managed to break away from their tech and play on the creek!) The towels to use for the creek were a nice touch. This location made it really easy to get to Asheville, Black Mountain, and Brevard. It was unanimous that all of us would love to return! It was a much needed retreat and respite for all of us!
