We hadn't been to back since 2022 and LOVED being back. Everything was perfect! We enjoy all seasons on the North Shore and Croftville is the perfect location to hear and watch the waves. We also appreciated the quiet setting and quick access to hiking and ski trails. The decor and the sustainable usage of materials that went into creating this space is greatly appreciated! A Perfect Valentine’s Getaway on Lake Superior I can’t say enough about this incredible cabin on Lake Superior—it was everything I hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully designed to create the perfect escape. The cabin itself was stunning, with warm, inviting decor and high-end finishing touches that made it feel both luxurious and cozy. The fireplace, soft lighting, and plush furnishings set the perfect mood for a romantic getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare a special meal without missing a thing. The highlight, of course, was the hot tub overlooking the lake. Listening to the icy waves crash while soaking in the warmth was absolutely magical, especially under the stars. It was the perfect place to unwind. Beyond the incredible amenities, the location was unbeatable—private, peaceful, and with breathtaking views of Lake Superior.

Wow! This home is beautiful. The large windows brilliantly showcase the unique beach scape while being directly on Lake Superior but the private beach access is the cherry on top. The home (and property) was larger than we expected and was cozy from top to bottom. We were so happy to bring our kids and dog, and both had the best time exploring. The sunsets and sunrises are unforgettable at this home. We had a couple clear nights and the stars were shining so bright. One in a million type of views/experience. Location was great, as we skied Lutsen Mountains with a 10 minute drive, a State park hike close by, and went to Grand Marais easily. We’d love to return soon and extend our stay next time!

This place was perfect to stay at for a weekend of skiing at Lutsen. The view of Lake Superior from the balcony was absolutely beautiful! The pool and hot tub were conveniently located in the same building and easy to find. We would stay at this place again!

Place was fantastic. We stayed 3 nights (March, 2025) with four young kids, two adults. Everything is very well communicated/clear (access, entry, garage, rules, etc) everything is known up front (kitchen items, fireplace, etc) Place is big and quiet too. Very clean, updated, cozy, and well lit (also with blackout curtains in all bedrooms) Kitchen is nice with everything you need to cook, including a grill (already had tea, keurig coffee and cups, oil, seasonings, including paper towels, zip locks, detergent, soap, etc) There is everything you need for the beach (chairs, toys, towels). Tons of games, puzzles, and books. But the best of all..... private beach, sauna, tons of firewood, garage, AND a washer/dryer. Fantastic North Shore Location (near Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, Two Harbors, Tettegouche, etc). It's quiet, it's big, it's got everything you need, it's a great set up and we would proudly recommend this place to any of our family and friends!

A Perfect Getaway on the Shores of Lake Superior!  We had an absolutely incredible stay at this Airbnb! The location is unbeatable—right on the shore of Lake Superior with stunning, panoramic views of the water that made every morning feel magical. The home itself is beautifully decorated with a warm, inviting feel and had every amenity we could ask for. The game room, pool, and hot tub were great additions that really elevated the experience. Everything we needed was conveniently close by—great restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions. Whether you're looking for adventure or just a peaceful place to unwind, this place offers the best of both worlds. Highly recommend!

I stayed here March 2025 hoping to see the Northern Lights since this year will be a very good year to see them. Unfortunately, the forecast changed but we are gonna definitely try here again next time at Andrews Airbnb! it was so lovely and they were so helpful and responsive. Like another review, one of our friends who was staying with us also said there was dog hair/some animal on the bedsheets, but we only stayed one night so it wasn't a problem for us. And Andrew and Summer would have fixed it for us if we insisted!! See you next time!

Absolutely gorgeous area! Place was well stocked for blankets, pillows and beds to sleep in as well as dishes and the basics!! Tons of space for the kids and adults to spend time together. The hot tub and sauna were a lovely bonus. All around an amazing place for our family to relax and unwind after the hospital!!

Just book it! My husband and I agree- the best view we’ve ever had! Beautiful at sunrise through sunset, followed by the most perfect stars once darkness sets in. There is a lot of fun hiking in the area and this made such a perfect home base. The views from the hot tub are unbelievable! Scotty was responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We were traveling with our two young daughters who loved the space- plenty of room for all of us. If we’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay here again, we enthusiastically would.

That was my first cabin experience and I want to keep going there. I don´t think I can find any other host who will be better that Alex. He treats you well and is always available with answers. I totally recommend staying on this cabin, its totally worth what you paid for it. I will definetly go back again soon. Thank you Alex for letting me stay there and enjoy the best view I can ask for.

What a special place on the north shore! Taking in the waves and wind energized our souls. We meandered on Gitche-Gami by bike, ventured to Lutsen and Grand Marais and filled our bellies at Coho on our way out. We are so grateful for this welcoming and cozy space. Jereme, was so helpful with all aspects of our 4 night stay at this Beautiful spot near the Poplar River. Skiing out was a breeze and we had enough snow to ski all the way back as well. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool at Caribou and everyone enjoyed this wonderful skiing experience. Great host and great spot at Lutsen Mountains!

I was so thankful to find Dana‘s place especially since I was traveling with the pooch. She left treats toys, a dog bed, dog blankets, and a chewy for my dog. Those little things are what set posts apart from great hosts. I also enjoy talking to Dana and getting to know her and her business.If I come through again, I will certainly stay or try to stay there. You can’t go wrong with this one book with confidence.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Lake Superior retreat while volunteering and spectating at the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon. The location was perfect—peaceful, scenic, and provided easy access to key race spots like the checkpoint Sky port, Otter Lake road crossing, and the Grand Portage finish. It was also an easy drive to Grand Marais for dining and exploring. The cabin is a perfect mix of rustic charm and comfort, with stunning lake views and cozy in-floor heating. After long days out in the cold, it was the perfect place to warm up and unwind. Tiffany was an excellent host—extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. The property’s history, nearby Hovland Dock, and surrounding trails make this a special place for any North Shore adventure. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax and explore this beautiful area!

We were a group of 9 adults and Jess and Paul’s place is perfect for a large group. It is very difficult to find enough sleeping spaces, so this worked out perfectly for us. The hosts are very responsive and proactively communicated with us. The property manager apartment is connected to the house, but we had our own space and there is privacy. The amenities are awesome, the sauna was TOASTY! We loved long evenings by the fire outside. Amazing access to trails - both easy and challenging. Grand Marais is just 5 minutes down the road. Overall, we had a 10/10 experience!

Kim and Alfie’s place was great, it felt like home! Very clean and cozy, easy to follow directions and they were very generous and incredibly accommodating. I would recommend their place to anyone going skiing, golfing, hiking or just simply visiting the North Shore. My wife and I were already trying to find excuses to come back and stay at Kim and Alfie’s place again. It’s open and bright allowing for larger groups to socialize easily and enjoy time together. Our kids had a blast and the oldest one “didn’t want to leave!” Thank you again for a great stay!

We had a wonderful girls' weekend! Beautiful views, fireplace, relaxing spaces, comfy beds, all the amenities one would need, including makeup remover & phone chargers next to the lamps, was a nice touch! Hot tub and pool were wonderful! Great recommendations for places to go around Tofte, Lusten & Grand Marais! Thank you for being amazing hosts! It was definitely a home away from home!
