Mr. Frank came out to greet us on arrival and directed us to where we were staying. The B and B was exactly like pictures/discription and stocked with tea, coffee, ice, and lots of soaps/shampoo/conditioner, etc. When my son locked the bathroom door by mistake, Mr. Frank fixed it right away. They were very welcoming and the Band B was inexcellent condition. I will definitely use them in the future!

What a beautiful spot to spend the weekend. The log cabin is homey, cozy and inviting. Every detail has been thought of and spending time here truly feels like an escape. We try and stay here whenever we are in the area visiting our daughter and Kenyon and we look so forward to our visits.

We had a lovely overnight stay! Everything was exactly as pictured. We had everything we needed to cook a delicious meal using the pots/pans/utensils provided in the kitchen. The extra snacks were a nice touch (we couldn’t resist trying the popcorn) and the stock of coffee/creamer was a huge plus since we forgot to bring our own for the morning. We greatly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings from the back patio and hot tub. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space!

Overall we had a wonderful stay. We got to enjoy being disconnected from the world while not being completely lost. We stayed for two nights and we utilized everything this retreat had to offer. The hot tub, shower, and fishing in the lake were what stood out the most to us and there are a few fish in the pond!

Jennifer was an amazing host! She put us in touch with her friend and we went to the friend's restaurant and had such a great time. (All the food in that area is incredible, but be sure to bring your own insulin drip). The apartment was so cozy and cute, we found ourselves repeatedly glued to the sofa. Jennifer left us a welcome basket of goodies and detailed instructions on how to find things and where to go. We also met her cleaner/assistant, also named Jennifer, who educated us on the Amish and the area. Everyone we met was so nice. The apartment was really perfect and I kept telling my traveling companions, I need a place like this to move into when I sell my house! Only it needs to be in NJ . . . Highly recommend. Jennifer if you find yourself in NJ please call me!!

I booked Larry’s cabin to for the weekend to stay just my husband and I in a peaceful and beautiful place. It was everything that we were looking for. The bed is comfortable, the house it self looks new exactly how the pictures look like. When we arrived the house was prepared with the temperature well regulated and with a dim light to give you the impression that you arrived in your own house. Really nice touch. Furthermore, the cabin has an incredible lake view. About the hosts, since the first moment Larry was friendly with fast response and flexible about our request. We will definitely go back. 😊

We had a great weekend at Nancy's place. The house was clean and had all the amenities described. We enjoyed the fire pit stocked with wood and the hot tub. There was plenty of space for our group and having 2 full bathrooms was nice. The location was perfect for hiking and activities in Mohican. I definitely recommend staying here and would stay again!

It was super refreshing to walk in and feel like this was a home and not just some business adventure. The house was gorgeous and we fully took advantage of the kitchen and did lots of baking during our stay. 😊

Great cabin with nice patio, gas grill & smokeless fire pit. Wife & I wanted to get away for the weekend & this place is perfect! Close to great restaurants & Amish Country with access to trail at the end of the road. Property is on a dead end street so there's no traffic. Very quaint and quiet!

Clean, comfortable, cozy, charming. Everything we were looking for and more. We just needed a place for the night. So much nicer and comfortable than any hotel could be. Hosts were friendly, quick to respond and clearly attentive to detail and should be proud of their accommodations. Would not even consider staying somewhere else if ever in the area again.

This place was just what we needed. We rented this place following a death in the family locally and we needed somewhere for family to gather and be together. This house and the property was everything we could ask for. Quiet. Peaceful. Spacious enough to allow for individual space when needed. The property is beautiful. The house has character and comfort. The hosts have stocked EVERYTHING a person could need. And it has an amazing vibe and history. It felt to all of us that there has been much love and laughter in this historic home which is just what we needed. Thank you for hosting us.

This place was fantastic. Such a beautiful, comfortable home with everything we needed plus more! I loved all the thoughtful details for us and the decor. All the rooms were comfortable and my family and I had such a wonderful time. It is so close to campus and the softball field (where we were most of the weekend!). Definitely will be back here again.

We were so fortunate and grateful to stumble upon this beautiful and well maintained gem of a home in Mt. Vernon. This was the perfect halfway point for our family of 6 as we headed back to NY. We immediately felt right at home and were blown away by the generous hospitality that we were provided with from the coffee station, to the treats and beverages, and thoughtful note and information provided. The only regret we had was not being able to spend more time here to enjoy the comforts of this special home and to explore all that the charming town had to offer.

Alan's lakehome was big and beautiful. the large docks allowed for lots of fishing w the grandkids. they went crazy when they saw the gameroom. such joy! the fire pit was perfect for evening gatherings. a Lil embarrassed to admit this, but we asked where we could find an air hockey puck and they actually had someone drive one over to us! that is 5 star service!!!

What a great place to call home while exploring the Mohican State Park amenities and the surrounding towns. We were able to eat most of our meals in our rental, including the great Amish breakfast treats left by Richard. The fresh flowers were also a real treat as we were celebrating our 54th Wedding anniversary. Thanks for everything Richard!
