Vacation rentals in Cresent Island

Everything about the Airbnb is a 10/10. Host: Extremely responsive and proactive in his communication. He messaged us several times in the weeks leading up to our check in to make sure we would have a perfect stay and also checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly for us. He even allowed us a flexible check in and check out time which was truly above and beyond what you would expect. Caretaker: Very friendly and on hand to help us with everything we needed. We were a large traveling group (12 pax) and none of us lacked for anything due to his diligence. Villa: Exactly as it looks on the photos. Stunning views (especially of the sunrise). Very spacious so can easily handle large groups. Very peaceful. Location: Very easy to find with the pin that the host shared. Very easy to access from Moi South Lake road. The untracked section of the road is less than 5 minute drive and all flat so easy to access in any weather.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the view was fantastic! Ndirangu was very helpful and on hand to answer any questions. As a bonus, we really liked the late checkout. We'll definitely be back!

My family and I stayed at Kuro Cottage for three nights. I didn't expect the house to be so beautiful! In the photo, it seemed smaller to me, so I was amazed that the rooms were so spacious! The house is very comfortable, the interior is pleasantly tastefully decorated. We spent one day almost without leaving the house, just enjoying the rest in it and its surroundings. It is clear that the owners love their home and guests, this is evident in the little things. For example, in the bathrooms they provide eco soap of local production, which smells very tasty. Hostess Ruth has all the useful contacts! Thanks to her recommendations, for a good price, we sailed to Crescent Island (by the way, the boat goes straight from her house, you don't have to go anywhere and pay extra for parking) and rode bicycles in Hells Gate Park. Kuro Cottage is a wonderful place to relax with your family! Now we want to come back here with our parents!

Ann is a great host. The home was lovely, we really had an amazing time with my family here. Looking forward to come back again soon.

We really really enjoyed our stay. This was such a lovely spot and peaceful too. We needed to escape the city rush and this was perfect. The view is amazing, the air is crisp, and there are great activities for everyone. A highlight for me was the guided meditation with Mirriam! We really did not want to leave but well, had to get back to the grind. Thank you Mirriam and Kevin, and to all your staff too. We will most definitely be back! And to everyone that's looking, trust me two nights are not enough.

This is a lovely cottage with a beautiful view on Lake Naivasha. The deck is especially nice in that it overlooks the lake and animals wander through the yard. The accommodations are comfortable and well laid out. The walking trails on the island were amazing - views of the surrounding area and lots of animals. The support staff was also helpful and readily available. We'd also recommend the night game drive!

Lovely place with great views!

This was a steal. I have stayed at many Airbnbs around the world in the past 5 years and this is one was an excellent experience. Ruthy was an incredible host, always responsive, and would send you reputable drivers at any time if asked (bolt/Uber are a little tough in this location... there are only 3 bolt drivers in the area, although Charles is a good one). The studio itself was perfect - a powerful gas stove that I used everynight to cook dinner and I would get fresh eggs and veggies from the stand right in front of this apartment to cook an omelette every morning. internet: I am a digital nomad (teacher) and the Internet worked fine for my classes. It tested at 13.2 MBPS download and 13.2 MBPS upload, which sounds slow but surprisingly it worked fine for my job. location: a very "gritty" neighborhood, which may or may not be your thing. Safe though, I walked around alone at midnight without issues. A nice mall and supermarket are a short walk or moto ride away.

Lovely, cosy and well equipped house on the shores of lake Naivasha. Fantastic for a family get-away to enjoy fire in the evening and marvel at zebras, gazelles and hippos grazing right in front of you. Close to the Hell’s Gate Park and with a possibility to hop on a boat in front of the house to go to the Crescent Island. We had a wonderful time and shall be back.
