Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Crawford County

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful little cabin. Our family had the best time disconnecting from the world and re-connecting with each other. The outdoor space was quiet and beautiful with plenty of privacy. The inside of the cabin was well stocked, clean, and beautifully decorated but not overdone. There was plenty of space for the 7 of us. We cannot wait to return!

Honestly, I almost don’t want to leave a review because I’d like to gate keep this place for ourselves but it’s just too good not to share! We traveled with a group of adults for a weekend away. We didn’t bring any kids, but we believe our children would have loved the place! Lots of cool land around the cabin to explore including a beautiful stream that runs right underneath the bridge. Whenever I tell you, if it could be thought of, they thought of it! This place is stocked to meet all of your needs and then some. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. Beds made up with pillows and blankets. Heaters in each room. Plenty of pellets for the barn heater. We didn’t even need the ones we brought and left them for the next tenant. Stocked coffee bar minus sugar. Beach towels for the hot tub. Which was great and hot! Some firewood but we did end up using what we brought but we enjoyed it quite a bit during our stay. Dollar General I believe 4 miles or so away. We are already anxious to get back!

We loved stayed here and would gladly book again! The cottage truly was fully stocked and had plenty of space for our party of 13 adults. We had a great time playing games with all of the table space and eating at the giant, beautiful tiled table. The beds were cozy, the fans were great, and the overhead garage door made carrying in luggage and food a breeze. It rained during our stay, but the time we could spend around the fire pit was very nice with nice chairs, benches, tables, cushions, and a ledge. Staying again, I’d probably bring: a blanket for the couch (though you could use the bedding) and a bigger pillow (but that’s personal preference). So much is provided that you don’t need to bring more! Communication with the host was fantastic. Truly the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at!

My two boys and I, ages 12 and 15, enjoyed our two night stay at Angela’s! Instructions were thorough and clear on how to find the campground, open the gate and locate the camper. Upon arrival everything looked exactly like the pictures - no catfishing here! The camper was modern and thoughtfully appointed with everything needed to cook inside or outside with two grills and an outdoor kitchen. There were little extras like coffee creamer and ziplock bags that helped make our stay easy. The queen bed was COMFORTABLE (I just stayed in a friends camper and it was night and day on the bed quality) and my oldest slept on the pull out couch and said it was great. You are very close to the winery, Benny’s off the water (restaurant) and a coffee shop in the hotel. You could walk to those. The state park is about a mile down the road with boating, fishing, a beach etc. Angela was proactive with communication and answered quickly when I had questions. Enjoyed our stay!!

Lauren went above and beyond when we got several inches of snow the day before our stay. She and her husband made sure a path was cleared for us to walk easily right up to the door. She was also quick to respond and their place was even more spacious than we expected. Great stay!!

We enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and spacious. The cabinets were stocked with anything you may need while away. The beds were very comfortable. Our only complaint would be the look of the neighborhood behind the home. Maybe a privacy fence would help for future guests.

This weekend was a getaway for college and high school friends to get together and hang out. For that, it was ideal space and surroundings. Everything was present for a great weekend and the place was very clean. It is ideal to bring as much with you as possible because conveniences are about 30 minutes away. If the lake is a priority, it's perfect for that- though traveling is still necessary to get there. If you're trying to be around French Lick, it's not as convenient either. Absolutely perfect for our intended use, though!
