We had a fantastic stay at Carolyn's camp. The location is perfect and the cabin cozy in the cold of winter. The true difference maker though is Carolyn herself. Responsive, caring and attentive and it comes through in the warmth of the cabin. Thank you for sharing your camp with us!

Picture perfect stay! The cabin is “as-advertised” base on the photos and description. The location is quiet and serene. Majorie was super kind and helpful. She was available for our needs all time throughout the day. Highly recommend taking a canoe out on the lake and going for a swim across from the property. An easy 15 min paddle across will take you to some nice rock outcroppings with crystal clear water for a nice evening dip. Town is a short 10 min right for one night out for a good meal. Def recommend staying on this property!

This is my family's second stay at Jeff's listing. It is our absolute favorite trip we now look forward to taking each year. The house is even more beautiful and peaceful in person than in the photos. Jeff was extremely responsive and accommodating. The house was spotless upon check in and had all the amenities we could ever want/need. I can't wait to come back!

This is a beautiful place! The cabin is warm and cozy. The views of the lake are wonderful. Despite the chilly temperatures outside, the cabin was warm. The electric fireplace provided ample heat and created a warm, cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. There is also a very nice set of barbecue tools for grilling outdoors. Upon arrival there were some welcome snacks. All amenities are as listed in the description. There is also a nice array of wine glasses and cocktail supplies. There are many opportunities to enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks within a reasonable distance- hiking trails, Tupper Lake, Lake Placid. The view from the cabin is great. Sitting at the firepit also provides a good view of the lake. The location is very private and peaceful. Martin is a wonderful host. He was very responsive to all questions prior to and throughout our stay. I highly recommend this location.

To say we were please with The Lake Bear would be an understatement!!! We loved the cabin, it was beautiful, clean, it created a space for everyone! The view was by far the most spectacular!! We had coffee on the dock in the morning and wine in the evenings! Grace was the perfect host to work with! We have a child at St Lawrence University and the 20 min drive to campus was easy! Wish we would have found this place years ago!!! 100% recommend!!!

Carol and Jeff were fantastic hosts and their cabin on the lake was exactly what my wife and I were expecting for our baby moon. The property on Sixth Lake was just far enough from town to be peaceful and relaxing but close enough to get a bite to eat, do some shopping, and pick up any needed grocery items. Carol and Jeff provided perfect communication and the house had everything. Oh, and can’t forget the cookies, which were the best. Sean and Katie

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Lakefront access, beautiful views, private but still close to everything we needed. The wood stove was a big perk for us and we loved having a cozy warm cabin to curl up in. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to checking it out during the summer months (though this is the perfect winter cabin). Colleen was an excellent host and was super responsive. I always felt like if I had any questions she would get right back to me. I would highly recommend this cabin and would definitely rent from Colleen again.

This is a very beautiful cabin! The photos definitely do not do it justice. The hot tub on the porch underneath the big trees was divine.

We enjoyed our stay at Julia’s cabin! It was cozy, the pictures and written description were entirely accurate, and the surrounding properties were very quiet during our winter stay. Julia and her team were great communicators from start to finish. We’d book again.

The cabin was absolutely amazing! It was a little winter wonderland with stunning views! The property has amazing walking trails and Meghan was very helpful with any questions or requests we had!

I stayed at Amy's property with my family and friends. We were looking for a quiet, private place with snow, a sauna and a jacuzzi. Luckily everything was covered in snow, as it was right after the new year. The house was very easy to find, everything was clean and tidy. There was plenty of space to relax. I really liked the fact that in addition to the main house there were also two small ones, one with a bathroom and the other without. It was great! Everything you needed was always at hand. The wood-fired sauna is unbeatable. The jacuzzi is exactly what you need for relaxation, as well as the sauna. The property is located 20 minutes from the lifts and all the necessary amenities, which was also very convenient.

The property is very peaceful and accommodating. We were looking for something nice with a great view and that’s what we got. The hosts were very timely in their responses and communicative. The property itself is very obviously well maintained. Planning on booking again in the fall!

What a hidden gem!! Everything was wonderful and the location is amazing. A little hard to find, but worth it because it was private. TVs did work well but we weren’t there to watch TV. The place was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. It had every pot, pan and spice you could ever ask for. Plenty of seating, rooms were nice, porch was amazing. Plenty of places to sleep. We would absolutely go back anytime!! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Place is exactly as listed and the pictures capture it accurately. Very clean home with appliances and a fun basement. Quick drive to Gore for the weekend warriors. I would highly recommend.

Anna and JP's home was comfy, cozy, and a perfect place for us to relax with our kids and our friends for a few days. Even though the weather wasn't cooperative (super windy and no snow at lower elevations for xc skiing) we loved hanging out by the gas fireplace, making good food, playing foosball and darts, and soaking in the hot tub. Any time we had a question, they responded almost immediately. Thanks for sharing your home with us, and happy new year!

I was coming into the Adirondacks to do some backpacking. We were going to be arriving late and starting the trip early in morning, so we just needed a place to crash for the night and sort some gear in the morning while we had breakfast. This was a perfect spot and exactly what we needed, though it would have been tempting to relax there for a few days.

Great location with easy access to North Creek, Newcomb etc. Quaint cabin with rustic accommodations and a peaceful setting near river.

We stayed in Janelle’s cabin four nights & found her cabin well appointed & very clean! There were quick responses to the few questions we had. Decor was welcoming & so well thought out for the Adirondack feel. The cabin is so quiet. We both have trouble w sleeping away from home, but not here, as it was peaceful & the bed was so comfy. The kitchen was great. We used it a lot as we ate all our meals there. Warrensburg was a close drive to get all our essentials. Janelle's kitchen is well set up. The sitting rm furniture was comfortable, & we found the "unplugging" we needed w/o cable TV in the cabin. There was quick hot water in the kitchen & the bath w fluffy towels. The cabin= plenty warm. Lovely, serene property outside the windows w white birches & other trees to relax w your coffee. Wifi worked great. My Husband was able to snowboard at Gore Mountain 20-25 min away. Well maintained roads in the area. Local folks friendly. Great stay-- would love to come again! Thx Janelle!

We really enjoyed our time at Black Bear Cabin. The quaint little cabin was just what we needed for our little getaway. It was private and peaceful with lots to do in the area. We went hiking and explored the little lake side towns. We highly recommend to anyone looking to unplug for a few days. We will find an excuse to come back and stay at the black Bear Cabin again in the future! Thanks Bonnie

We loved our stay in lake George at this cute cabin! Check in was a breeze and we felt welcome from the very start. Ashley reached out a few times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and to let us know she was available- which was so appreciated. The cabin was very tidy, spacious and cozy. It had all the essentials and then some. Highly recommend and would definitely book again.

My friend and I took our dogs for a peaceful winter getaway and that is exactly what we got. Amazing location and very secluded. As long as you know how to use a wood stove you’ll stay nice and toasty in the colder months. It’s a perfect location if you’re bringing dogs 🐶 Can’t wait to come back in the summer time!

This is our second time staying here. It is a lovely cabin in a beautiful location. Perfect for us to Nordic ski at van hovenberg. While the cabin is small, it is well designed and feels spacious. Beds are comfortable and everything was very clean! We hope to stay here again in the future!!

Ralph’s place was wonderful! We went up in January for our honeymoon. It was so cozy and warm. We walked through the woods and along the creek. A very beautiful spot.
