Places to stay in Craftsbury

Palmer's Village Camp is a great spot for those looking to stay in Stowe. Just a block off Main St. / Rt. 100. A stones throw to the Stowe Village cafes, shops and restaurants. A short drive to local attractions like Stowe Mountain, Trapps Lodge and Waterbury. The space was clean and comfortable. The adjoined bedrooms (pocket door between them) is a nice feature for those with kids. The kitchen has all of the amenities you could want and is spacious. Well furnished living room space with a comfortable couch and two sitting chairs, along with benches at the dining table. Palmer was friendly and prompt with all communications. Check-in / out was seamless. All in all, a great option for a stay in Stowe Village!

Great spot, would rent again. Very cold winter nights in February, so really appreciated the two extra thick blankets provided. Outdoor stairs to the apartment are steep but were mentioned and explained in the advertisement. Clean, cozy, comfortable. Thanks, Chris.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-maintained and spotless everything was. The house was not only neat and clean but also thoughtfully equipped with every small detail you could think of—from kitchen essentials to a great selection of board games that kept everyone entertained. What really stood out was the host Kaylee’s responsiveness and attention to detail. She was quick to reply to any questions we had and even went the extra mile by arranging for someone to clean the driveway during our stay when it snowed, which we really appreciated. It made us feel well taken care of and added to the overall comfort of the trip. The combination of a beautiful, clean space and a caring, proactive host made our experience truly memorable. We loved our time here and would gladly return in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable gateway!!

We loved our stay at Cork Studio! Close to all the shops in town, and walkable to the town hall bus stop to get up to the mountain. We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs the first night and it was incredible, highly recommend doing the same! We hope to come back to Stowe soon, and would love to stay here again!

This condo is a GREAT location if you're skiing at Stowe. Being able to make a right turn onto Mountain Rd in the morning (if you're familiar with Stowe traffic you'll understand what I mean) and be at the slopes in less than 10 minutes was amazing. And with the Topnotch Resort being on Mountain Rd, you're right in the heart of all of the restaurants and shops, too (the ever-popular Matterhorn is a very short drive away). The condo was spotless and cozy we all found the beds to be especially comfy. Overall, a great stay!

Warm hospitality provided by Darren and Lynne. We really enjoyed our stay and our hosts were extremely accommodating to our family and dog. Beautiful setting with amazing home cooked breakfasts and excellent facilities.

The condo was in the perfect location at Smugglers - close to the main village with restaurants and guest services. And also in walking distance to a few of the chair lifts. Deborah and Conner were fantastic hosts also - very responsive to my questions and proactively provided us with all the info we needed to access and enjoy the condo! Would highly recommend!!

Karen’s place is like something out of a storybook, full of charm both on the inside and out. I would say the pictures only do it half justice. A very short walk into Stowe Village, which was extremely convenient since we could skip having to find parking. Will definitely be staying here again should it be available during our next visit to Stowe come winter!
