Vacation rentals with lake access in Cowichan Valley

The Airbnb was lovely, it was in such a beautiful location overlooking the lake and had access to a lovely private beach. The space was lovely and bright and would definitely stay again!

Nadine was an excellent host. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was spotless when we arrived, and it was the perfect space for our family for the weekend.

This was a lovely, spacious setting that was a convenient driving distance from one ferry and downtown Victoria. There was ample room to spread out in the house as well a nice walking trail around the lake nearby.

We had a family gathering at Will's lake cabin in Dec. and it couldn't have been nicer. The house is gorgeous, well appointed, clean and in a great location for walking. As a family we enjoy creating and cooking meals together and the kitchen was roomy enough for several bodies without bumping into each other. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the down comforters....very Euro! Thank you Will for being so responsive whenever we had a question, you have a lovely home. A beautiful place, a garage (which is rare on Air BnB) and outside parking. Nestled in a quite area with lots of trees and close to the lake. We felt right at home and appreciated the spaciousness, the presentation, the amenities and the cleanliness. It was a very peaceful stay and we highly recommend this place.

Charlotte was a great host. She is very friendly, responsive and respectful of our space. The place was great, very spacious, exceptionally clean, nice kitchen and 2 great entertainment areas.

We had a wonderful stay at Gerry's place in Victoria. From the moment we arrived, Gerry was an exceptional host—he personally greeted us and gave us a thorough walk-through of the house, explaining all the features, which made us feel right at home. Throughout our stay, he checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, showing great attention to detail and care. The home itself was extremely clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we truly appreciated Gerry's hospitality. Highly recommend!

Ingeborg and Ken could not have been better hosts. This was a special trip for us and they went above and beyond to make it feel as such. The location of the suite is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, and perfect for a visit to the island. Everything was great and felt just like home. Will for sure be staying again in the future and would recommend this space to everyone. Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

We are SO glad that we were able to stay in Michelle's charming apartment! First of all Michelle is a lovely person who welcomed us and made us feel very much at home. And you can feel her warmth, kindness and creativity show in the home. We appreciated the thoughtful touches Michelle provided and how well equipped it is. This is a welcoming place with lots of light, fun and quirky furnishings, lovely houseplants and a good layout with lots of space. We walked in and immediately felt at home. What a gift! Thank you so much Michelle for sharing your lovely, lovely place with us! You are in all ways a SUPER host!!!

Matthew's place was comfortable and had all of the amenities a group or family could need for a relaxing getaway. The dining table with bench seating was great for breakfast with the kids, the outdoor space was great (big covered fire pit and hot tub!), and the place felt spacious with lots of seating. There were even fun extras like board games and kids toys. We walked to the nearby bar & grill for dinner and had a great meal. Next time I'm in the area, I would definitely stay again and extend my stay to get the full lake cabin experience!

My sister and I had a lovely time staying at Bill and Ashley’s cottages. The cabin was the perfect little size, and equipped with everything we needed to cook lovely meals and enjoy a fun relaxing weekend. Big thanks to Bill for lending us a guitar capo when we realized we had forgotten ours! Say hi to Zoey and Louie for us, can’t wait to visit again :)

This was the perfect spot for a girls getaway weekend, but really it would be the perfect spot for any type of getaway. Huge thanks to Leah and Jayme for their responsiveness and going out of their way to make the whole experience as enjoyable as possible. It's hard to believe, but the place is even more beautiful than what you see in the pictures, and every detail to improve guest experience has been thought of. I'd give 500 stars if I could!

Overall stay was good. It was a cozy place, and very private. We love the ambiance! :) The only concern we have is there are no curtain/blinds in all the windows. The host is very responsive with all of our questions which make our stay pleasant. Will surely come back here.

lovely place right on the water kayaks, canoe etc all readily available. we were there in October so too cold to swim. it would be amazing in warmer weather. Lots of local things to see market, hikes etc. you do have to drive

Mary’s cottage is such a gem — very cozy, clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook/bbq. Mary has truly thought of everything a guest needs to enjoy a weekend at the lake. We highly recommend booking a stay here!! See you next year 🥰
