A lovely stay in a lovely homely setting.

Alan’s spot is lovely. Right on the river with lovely views and close to Carlow town or Kilkenny town for exploring/getting a bite to eat. The space is lovely and clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t get to eat the spread Alan had left for us as the power went the next morning due to the storm but appreciated the gesture! Would definitely stay again.

We stay for one night in Anne’s apartment, it was so beautifully decorated and clean. Anne greeted us on arrival and was so nice to us bring us in some port, there was a little box with treats also. We would definitely stay again

This little find was amazing for a short stay. Very easy to find even in the dark and perfect for what I needed a bed for the night. Jackie was an Amazing Host and very helpful with instructions and directions on finding the property. Clean and Tidy. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for a short stay.

Great little place . Has everything you need for a well rested sleep and a lovely hot shower after a day of walking . Peaceful and quiet area.

Had a lovely stay in Gemma’s place for New Years. The place is very cosy, spacious and has everything you need. Gemma was very helpful from start to finish with recommendations for us and our little lad as well as extra bits we had forgot to bring along! Would highly recommend Gemma and her lovely home! My daughter and I have had the most relaxing break in Yew Tree Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, simply decorated and has everything you might need. John is a wonderful host, very friendly and amenable. His mother Mary is one of a kind. When we checked in, we had been delayed and she stayed up to welcome us. She had baked delicious scones and had them waiting for us for our supper. She dropped in some bread and fruit too as we hadn’t had a chance to shop yet. She has gone above and beyond to make us feel at home here. Our dog Dolly loved it here too, plenty of places to walk and explore. Down by the river is gorgeous. The area is beautiful and feels really safe. There are shops in Carnew only 7 minutes drive away. Also, lovely restaurants and take aways. We will definitely be back to this pretty cottage to meet Max the cattle herder again. We couldn’t recommend Yew Tree Cottage enough!!

We went to Wexford from Dublin for a weekend. Nice and quiet area where the house is. Perfect location if you are traveling with a car. Only 15 minutes drive to town center. The house is very clean and tidy. Exactly like the description. The host lady is very friendly. When we checked out we forgot to logout our Netflix account. She did it for us after we told her. Would definitely go back again for a weekend getaway.

Myself, my wife our 9yr old and family dog stayed at Ruth's lodge for 4 days! We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was so cosy and the view was amazing! They had everything we needed! The beds were so comfy! The kitchen had anything we needed to cook! The shower was very nice! Heating was easy to work and the lodge heated up very quickly! I would recommend this stay if you want peace and quiet away from the world! We were left alone but we knew if we needed anything we could contact Ruth! Shops near by and some takeaways also! We will definitely stay again! It would be amazing in the summer! Thank you Ruth 🩷
