Kid-friendly vacation rentals in County Tipperary

Lovely stay for a short weekend spent hiking the Lough Derg Way. Spacious rooms, warm and cosy and lots of hot water. Host provided tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil etc which was very handy if you wanted to cook! The apple tart which had been left for us on arrival was a lovely gesture. Would recommend for a lovely stay exploring the local area.

Paul’s place was beautiful and a wonderful stay for our family of 5 adults and one child. The area was peaceful and a short drive to Thurles. The claw foot tub was amazing as well.

A very good host, the place was clean and tidy, everything was like in description and on photos. She answer very fast to your messages. We recommend her 100%. Kasia

Beautiful quirky home close to the town centre

Christy is a great host and all communication in advance of our trip was very good and all instructions very clear. The house in Donohill is wonderful, it's spacious, spotlessly clean, very warm and nicely decorated. It is a very peaceful location and easy access to Cashel, Tipperary town and other local attractions. It's a short drive to the local pub where the owners are friendly and they serve a nice pint of Guinness! I highly recommend both Christy and the house in Donohill.

We had a wonderful stay in Curadoon House. The house itself is beautiful and so cosy. It’s ideal for families as it’s really spacious and well kitted-out. It felt like a home away from home. Miriam was extremely helpful and kind. She checked in on us during our stay to see if we needed any more sticks/coal for the stove which was a really nice gesture. The area is picturesque and despite the bad weather, we found plenty to do. I would highly recommend this property if you’re looking chill and relax while exploring the area. Thank you Miriam 😀

Mary’s place was extremely clean, plenty of space, and very quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. We had an excellent night sleep. It was a pleasure to meet Mary and Eamonn in person. We have already booked again for a stay in a couple of weeks!

Ben’s place exceeded our expectations! It was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had incredibly comfortable beds. Thoughtful extras like tea, biscuits, and bottled water made our stay even more special. Communication was excellent, and Ben kindly accommodated our early check-in without any hassle.

We had a lovely short stay at this peaceful retreat away from it all. The apartment was very clean and decorated in a lovely style. A lot of love has gone into the cottage and the story of the renovation was interesting. We were made very welcome by Adrian and Elaine and especially appreciated the lovely basket of goodies and breakfast. We really enjoyed sitting out in the morning sun and hearing nothing but the birds. It is a short walk from the easy but wonderful Clare Glens walk. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I strongly recommend a stay here with Irene and Dave. From the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is outstanding, with everything you would need to make a meal. We got a takeaway from Sanjay s Indian restaurant in Birr, which was delicious. We were keen to get back to the apartment and light the stove. Dave gave us a tour of some of the fabulous grounds which he has been rewilding for years. He also directed us to some wonderful walking trails as well as filling us in on the history of the house. The gorgeous dogs need a special mention! A return visit is being planned already . This unit is the perfect spot to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle. It’s super cute, the beds are warm, the birds were singing… wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks Mike, will absolutely recommend to any friends headed your way!

Quiet accommodation, well equipped, and Anne always available by message to answer our questions. Environment with convenience store nearby for urgent needs lol and petrol. Friendly owners who don't spoil anything. We didn't see the neighborhood too much as we were on a getaway during the day. Heating warms great. The roads are narrow for us French and we took some time to reach Connemara. Otherwise Galway is 50 minutes away and many other places for about the same distance are to visit. If you just want to rest and calm it's nice. Thanks Anne, maybe look forward to it!

I wanna say a big thank you to Selina, because our stay was absolutely amazing. House is so cozy and clean. Selina met us and showed everything, she was super friendly and nice. Good location if you wanna see castles around. Highly recommend!!!

Ann and Niall were perfect hosts. Couldn't have done more for us. The place was fantastic and suited our needs perfectly. Large garden for our dog to play in. Delighted with our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay

Fantastic place,felt right at home, the Christmas decorations were a lovely addition,the children loved the ducks and surroundings, everything within walking distance, house beautiful and fantastic host, will definitely be back.

Lovely apartment to rest and relax. It is located on the edge of town but only a few mins drive away. The apartment is surrounded by green fields, woodland and nature. The terrace is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The apartment is well equipped and homely. Tom and his wife are friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect place for what I needed!

Grainne is the perfect host. Always friendly and helpful. Had a basket of toys in the apartment as she knew my grandson would be visiting. Beautiful grounds where I could push he around on tricycles. Apartment was well stock, clean and as described. Couldn't have had a nicer time. Looking forward to my next trip.

Great apartment large and spacious, clean and tidy. walking distance to the town, where you can find great bars and restaurants. very warm and peaceful place. Will definitely stay again.

Booked the night before Ann got back to me the next morning . There was no issue she was extremely helpful . The place is spotless and has lovely decor . Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back .

Excellent location in the town of Killaloe. Accomodations were wonderful with amazing views.

We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The apartment was clean and worked perfectly for our needs. Our kids loved the donkeys and horse. The indoor pool was clean and well-maintained. The property is in a great location. We visited Cork, Blarney, Midleton and Cobh during our stay. Kieran recommended 3 local restaurant options all close by. We were able to try 2 of the 3 during our stay and both were great!
