We have stayed at Joanne's five times and we have recommended it to others who live in the community and may have relatives coming to visit. We would definitely book Joanne's Airbnb again.

Had an amazing stay despite the weather! Woke up to a beautiful morning and they wanted us to enjoy it so told us no rush to leave stay as late as we wanted! Very friendly, easy to talk too! Would recommend very highly! Will be back for sure!

We booked Idle Hours for a mom’s weekend away, and it checked all the boxes. Peaceful, beautiful scenery, and more than enough bedrooms for our whole group. The kitchen was set up so it was easy to find what we needed without opening every cupboard, and the giant couch in the living room was perfect for spending quality time together with a FABULOUS view of the lake. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

Amazing place, we even extended for another day! Our family love staying in cabin and the photos don’t do justice for what we had in Meli’s place. My almost 2 yrs old daughter enjoyed it very much. She provided extra stuff for her as well! The place is very cozy too. We spend a lot of time outdoor, at night we gather in the living/dining area. When we went there, that week was very hot, but the provided fans helped a lot. At night, it can be breezy so not a problem for sleeping too. We set up an inflatable pool and tent for our daughter to experience. It was so much fun! The place is huge to be able to do a lot of things. One hop and it’s the park which is not busy at all. It leads to the lake for boat launching only. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience, we are keeping this on our list of places to go back to. Thanks Meli and to your husband as well! My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at Lakeview. We felt at home in this super cosy tent (and comfy bed). The dog and cat made us feel very welcome. The cat basically lived with us during our stay! Although we were glamping in the sense that we had an actual bed with douvet and pillows…we were roughing it. Make sure to bring your pots and pans to even just boil water for your morning coffee. We did not. We did bring plenty of food and drinks though and made it work. It was an adventure. And on check-out we made the 15 minute drive to Timmies. The outdoor shower was not working, so we went without. No big deal for only two nights there. And it’s part of the camping experience, haha! The toilets were just porta-potties but didn’t smell, at all! I was very impressed with that. I couldn’t even see other people’s business down there!! While we were there, we enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on their private lake, and a few soaks in the hot tub! Highly recommend a stay here.

The hosts were very hospitable and considerate of our needs including assistance with our luggage in freezing rain. My 11 year old son loved the cozy sheets. Would definitely book again!

Thanks Stefanie for sharing your beautiful property! We were a group of 5 women who had a very enjoyable weekend hiking and exploring the areas around Fort Assiniboine. This property has been well maintained, and is stocked with everything you need for a pleasant weekend away! The beds were really comfortable and we appreciated having our own bed along with 2 bathrooms for our group. The large table was great for gathering for meals and playing games at night. The gas fireplace was a nice addition as the nights were chilly and it added coziness to the room. Thanks again, Stefanie.
