Lindsey’s place was incredible. It was so relaxing and luxurious. It was well stocked with almost everything you need. We loved that it was tucked away and private so we could be by ourselves and take it all in. The sauna and hot tub were the perfect touch on a chilly evening. We will definitely come back!

Our experience at Refuge Bay was truly amazing and precisely what we needed for rejuvenation and reconnection. I have experienced many glamping accommodations, but this particular location and its amenities surpassed all expectations. The sauna was impressive, and we thoroughly enjoyed brewing Nespresso coffees, gathering around the fire, and stargazing with binoculars. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the entire space was exceptionally well-equipped, with thoughtful consideration given to every possible need or desire. The host was highly responsive during the entire booking process and addressed any inquiries we had during our stay. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our experience. Their guest portal was a thoughtful addition, allowing us to explore the various add-ons available, and we appreciated the opportunity to personalize our getaway with a charcuterie board and a fresh floral arrangement. We can’t wait to go back and experience this place in different seasons!

Stephanie is a great host, and helped us with everything we needed! When we ended up scaring ourselves (we’re used to the city), Stephanie’s husband showed up extremely fast and helped sort out our concern. We enjoyed the entire stay over the Christmas break. It was an absolutely lovely stay ☺️

I did about ex extended stay of about three weeks, and during my time there it felt like I was at home. I was even able to add on a few days as my possession date was pushed. Taylor was understanding, compassionate, and practical with her solutions. Location itself was beautiful, on a pristine, quiet lake way in the country which is just what I needed during my stressful move to Alberta.

What a beautiful place to stay for a working holiday. I felt so comfortable and at home here. The decor is unique and quirky and inspires creativity, which is exactly what I needed to get my writing project done. The whole space was super clean and well organized. There is so much to do - records to listen to, games to place, DVDs to watch. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need. Bed super comfy. I can’t wait to come back!

this was a nice peaceful spot to spend a weekend, there is a shower and flushable toilet available for a few hours each day and the dome itself was very cozy The trampoline was super fun too 🎉

We stayed at Jean's place for a family Christmas gathering. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family. Jean is an exceptional host and ensured all the details were perfect including plenty of chopped wood, a Christmas tree and decorated home. The kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed to make a turkey dinner. We will definitely be coming back again.
