Vacation rentals in County of Barrhead No. 11

My partner and I had a WONDERFUL stay. The space is perfect for two, but can easily accommodate a family or larger group. We spent the whole time reading, playing board games, cooking, and enjoying the lovely little cabin. It has everything you need, and is thoughtfully decorated. We immediately felt at home and cozy. We made this booking to get away from the city and to rest and recover and this space was exactly what we were looking for. It’s quiet, and you feel like you’re tucked into a little community in the trees. We were here in winter which was stunning, and I imagine it’s beautiful during every season. We took advantage of the sauna and booked two sessions, which were both perfect. The lake is super close by, and while out snowshoeing we came across neighbours that were all super friendly. The hosts were extremely friendly and very quick to respond. I would recommend it to anyone!

Had an amazing stay despite the weather! Woke up to a beautiful morning and they wanted us to enjoy it so told us no rush to leave stay as late as we wanted! Very friendly, easy to talk too! Would recommend very highly! Will be back for sure!

Henry and Hetty are wonderful hosts. I felt right at home shortly after arriving. Slept like a baby.

Amy's place was absolutely stunning! The attention to detail and thoughtfulness she has shown towards us was truly remarkable. From the cozy decor to the thoughtful amenities, every aspect of the stay was perfect. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and beautiful space!

As a first time “ glamper” , this was such a great experience! Dome was spacious, beds were comfortable and found it to be cozy at night with adequate bedding and furnace. Covered outdoor kitchen area was perfect space to prepare your food. Had all the basics , just had to bring our cooler of food and plates, cutlery. Private Porta potty was very clean and on our site, however discreetly hidden. We enjoyed walking the trails and they have many outdoor games available to play if you choose to. Lynn was friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

We stayed at Jean's place for a family Christmas gathering. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family. Jean is an exceptional host and ensured all the details were perfect including plenty of chopped wood, a Christmas tree and decorated home. The kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed to make a turkey dinner. We will definitely be coming back again.

Amazing place, we even extended for another day! Our family love staying in cabin and the photos don’t do justice for what we had in Meli’s place. My almost 2 yrs old daughter enjoyed it very much. She provided extra stuff for her as well! The place is very cozy too. We spend a lot of time outdoor, at night we gather in the living/dining area. When we went there, that week was very hot, but the provided fans helped a lot. At night, it can be breezy so not a problem for sleeping too. We set up an inflatable pool and tent for our daughter to experience. It was so much fun! The place is huge to be able to do a lot of things. One hop and it’s the park which is not busy at all. It leads to the lake for boat launching only. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience, we are keeping this on our list of places to go back to. Thanks Meli and to your husband as well! The location is absolutely gorgeous. A wonderful spot to disconnect and relax. Lindsey was very responsive and helpful. Would like to visit again.

The hosts were very hospitable and considerate of our needs including assistance with our luggage in freezing rain. My 11 year old son loved the cozy sheets. Would definitely book again!

Stephanie is a great host, and helped us with everything we needed! When we ended up scaring ourselves (we’re used to the city), Stephanie’s husband showed up extremely fast and helped sort out our concern. We enjoyed the entire stay over the Christmas break. It was an absolutely lovely stay ☺️
